The reason that prompts the break-up isn't disclosed though. Representatives for both Rose and Robert also haven't immediately responded to request for confirmation.
Rose McGowan's Injury Puts 'Red Sonja' on Hiatus
September 09, 2009 04:09:24The production of "Red Sonja" has apparently been halted because lead actress Rose McGowan was seriously injured during a stunt. Fox News' Pop Tarts brought the matter into attention following a recent interview with the star of "Grindhouse" herself about the extent of her injury.
"I had wrist and elbow surgery and they took part of my elbow out. I had really bad nerve damage from doing stunts - I do a lot of my own stunts," the 36-year-old confessed. "I could no longer use my arm, but now I can hold a fork and drive so we're working our way up. It'll probably be another six months of rehab, but it's the price you pay for being really limber and being able to do back flips!"

Following her Twitter post on Wednesday, August 26 that led to speculation she may well be out from the project, the Paige Matthews of WB Network series "Charmed" provided clarification on her previous words.
"To clarify press reports: Red Sonja is delayed," the 35-year-old tweeted on Friday, August 28. "I pulled out of doing it in '09. Not permanently.Hopefully will follow Conan." She then followed it up with another tweet, writing "I am still contracted to do it Red Sonja. Hopefully Filming in '10 not '09".
