Video: Christina Aguilera, Bret Michaels and More on 'American Idol' Finale


The footage of live performances from Carrie Underwood, Janet Jackson and the previous winners of 'American Idol' have also hit the web.

The Wednesday, May 26 "American Idol" finale was a star-studded affair with many big stars, including Christina Aguilera and Bret Michaels, coming to the event as musical guests. Christina followed "Beautiful" and "Fighter" medley performance by this season's female contestants with a solo set of her new material "You Lost Me".

The former Poison rocker, meanwhile, shared the stage with Casey James. The recently-crowned winner of "The Celebrity Apprentice" brought his guitar and strummed it for his hit single "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", looking healthy and singing as loudly and proudly as ever before.

Other performers Carrie Underwood and Janet Jackson took the Nokia Theatre stage solo. Carrie delivered her latest single "Undo It", while Janet who has released her new movie "Why Did I Get Married Too?" did a medley of the film soundtrack "Nothing" and another song "Nasty". She came to the stage after "Idol" contestants finished a live rendition of "Again".

Carrie also teamed up with fellow "Idol" alumni Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Hicks and Kris Allen for a rendition of "Together We Are One". Additionally, Kris who won the competition on season 8 performed "The Truth".
