After firing Debbie Antney, Nicki Minaj reportedly has hired P. Diddy to serve as her new manager. The Young Money female rapper is rumored to be co-managed by Diddy and one of his own managers, James Cruz.

According to Billboard, Minaj originally wanted Diddy to co-manage her along with Lady GaGa's manager, Troy Carter. However, the deal met dead end since GaGa allegedly opposed the idea and threatened to kick off Carter if he signed Minaj.

Beside Minaj, Diddy reportedly also co-manages Rick Ross. "Big shout out to my brother Diddy. We have a big announcement to make real soon, so stay tuned for that," Ross said in a recent radio interview. The deal is said to include exclusive songwriting for Diddy's "Last Train to Paris".

Nicki Minaj fired Debbie Antney, the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame, soon after her withdrawal from Rihanna's Last Girl on Earth tour. When announcing the split with Minaj, Antney didn't disclose what prompted the break-up, but she did wish Minaj the best in her future endeavor. "She's like one of my children... I wish her no harm, only much success," Antney said.
