Adam Lambert is confirmed to make a live appearance on the result show of FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" finale on December 16. He will deliver his single "Whataya Want From Me" which is taken from his debut album "For Your Entertainment".
Adam will not be the only "American Idol" alum who rocks the reality dancing show. This week, his Idol pal Kris Allen is also set to perform on the live result show, singing "Live Like We're Dying" on December 9.
Before singing on "SYTYCD", Adam Lambert has to visit ABC's "The View" first. Instead of having a live stage act like he did at 2009 American Music Awards which cost him "Good Morning America" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" appearances, he is scheduled to tape his performance and interview with the ladies. The episode will be aired this coming Thursday, December 10.
Two days after appearing on "The View", he will take the stage of the Atlantic Bank Center in Miami, Fla. for a hosting job with Leighton Meester. Along with the "Gossip Girl" star, he will introduce performing artists, such as Shakira, Timbaland, Jordin Sparks, The Fray, Flo Rida, LMFAO, 3OH!3, Colbie Caillat, Jason Derulo and iYaz for Y100 Jingle Ball concert.
As for Kris Allen, he has a scheduled performance on Billboard's New Year's Eve Live special airing December 31 from 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM on FOX. On the gig hosted by Carmen Electra, he will perform alongside Allison Iraheta and Sean Kingston.

Adam is performing in California on NYE. He will sing for 40 minutes and the songs will be from his album. I hope the event is televised!

Well..once again, it's ABC's loss for the New Years Eve show.. they would have had plenty more viewers if Adam stayed. That's cool.. just more room on my PVR that night. Obviously Adam isn't going anywhere anytime soon except up up up - skyrocketing FAME! Love him!
I really Love Kris Allen performing on the Fox New Year's Eve show. I just like Kris and his music so much more than Adam. I would like to see a show where Kris is allowed to sing more than four songs.

Yay! Kris Allen and his band rock! Allison is so freaking talented! I would love to see the dancers dance to more of Kris Allen's music like Let It Rain, Bring It Back, Is It Over, The Truth or I Need To Know. That would be beautiful! I know that he is performing LLWD, but I would love to see some choreography put to those other songs! Adam's single is gorgeous as well. YAY Kradison!

Adams View appearance is pretaped as he cannot be in NY on Thurs.due to schedule conflict, get itright,. Let the K fans continue to bash they just show themselves to be down in the dirt even though their guy won they know nothing of graciousness or class (can you imagine what they would have been like if K lost? they to a taste of it with the actual sales)anyway, glad to see all these opportunites for Adam,(even thought ABC is overboard) as well for Allison and Krs. Does anybody know that The View regularly tapes their interviews before airing? They have been doing this for awhile. What gets me is that they are acting like Adam "has" to be taped as opposed to their other guests on the show.
I don't watch the show. Don't like dancing shows but I will catch the finale if Adam Lambert is on it.

I cant understand why they would even consider Adam for this show. I wont watch adam since I cant stand his singing, or shall I say SCREAMING. Its plain vulgar.

Adam should be on the New Year's Eve show. That's the only reason I would watch. He has been punished enough and ABC has just embarrassed themselves. Worried about live performance? First, he has learned his lesson. Second, they can "delay" the song 5 minutes with commercial break and it will still be "live." It's not as if he will do anything over the top again. Plus, he has so many amazing songs that would be great to ring the new year in. Let him duet with Allison again! Let all three sing together. it would be so much fun. Happy New Year?
