Fresh Photo for 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' Uncovered

As 'Twilight' has got its own official home on Twitter, updates from the second movie keep on coming from director Chris Weitz.

AceShowbiz - A brand new image from the highly anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" has made its way out. Featuring the sequel's three major characters, Robert Pattinson's Edward, Kristen Stewart's Bella and Taylor Lautner's Jacob, this production photo was put out through the newly-launched official Twitter page for "Twilight".

Beside the picture, the Twitter page also offered a number of updates for the second "Twilight Saga" movie. Many of the tweets came from director Chris Weitz. In one of which, he wrote, "At sound mixing stage... introducing the werewolves. Trying to get the perfect bass rumble," before tweeting a behind-the-scenes shot of the "New Moon" sound mixing stage.

Other info shared about the upcoming movie include the length of the movie and when new footage will be released. One of the tweets revealed that "New Moon" will be two hours and ten minutes long. Another one read, "Next week, look out for the first official scene on Entertainment Tonight & iTunes!"

"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" is penned by "Twilight Saga" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. The story centers on Bella, who is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire lover Edward Cullen but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

Many of the original cast members, including Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed, return to reprise their roles, while Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen and Noot Seear are among the new additions to the cast. "New Moon" targets a U.S. release on November 20.
