Two versions of "American Idol" winning song called "No Boundaries" have been made available for digital purchase on iTunes, and their audio streams have been put out. One of them is performed by Kris Allen, while the other is sung by Adam Lambert.
Kris and Adam delivered the track, which is co-written by the Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, for the first time in the popular reality singing contest finale on May 19. Following Kris' victory, the 23-year-old singer performed the song once again during the Idol result show on May 20.
Beside singing the winning song, Kris Allen also joined forces with Keith Urban in a track called "Kiss the Girl" during the star-studded result night. On top of that, he teamed up with Queen and Adam Lambert, delivering hit single "We Are the Champions".

Why do we have to telling the world how great Adam is. ADAM has shown the world, we need to say no more, just set back ad watch him and ENJOY!
I’m a devout Christian and mother of two music-loving boys, and I must ask: What is wrong with America? America’s vote for Kris Allen, or America’s vote against Adam Lambert, seems to be a hate vote against the various sectors of society that Adam appears to stand for. People lost respect of the fact that American Idol is a singing talent competition open to all -- straight or gay, Christian or Jewish, clean-cut or flamboyant glam, etc. Voters forgot that it is not a popularity contest for class of persons — neither an arena to battle for coalition leadership nor grounds to crusade for a religious revival. In Season 8, Kris demonstrated that he is a skilled musician and an outstanding vocalist; but Adam consistently proved to be the amazingly innovative vocal artist and the versatile singer, gifted with a powerful voice. Adam deserved to win. Even visibly perplexed Kris acknowledged this glaring truth in his Christian heart so that he openly asserted in public that “Adam deserves this. I’m sorry…” when he was unexpectedly handed the undeserved title. So many seconds passed before bewildered Kris finally acquiesced to receive the undeserved crown, but only after Adam graciously approached to place a brotherly arm around his room mate’s shoulder in a gesture of encouragement. Hello, brothers and sisters -- American Idol is a singing contest and Adam Lambert is the real winner! I should also ask: What is wrong with Fox TV’s American Idol show that they allow such warped controversies and divisiveness to occur at a time like this in history?

I watched Larry King and I was sick. No i would never pay money to hear Kris. He looks like he is chocking all the time. he does not walk/talk or sing like a star. Shame on the voteing system. and shame on those who figured a way to cheat at it.
The only one that could help that song was adam. Kris can't hold a note out.

i'm not a huge fan of american idol, i admit. i watched perhaps 2 episodes, including the finale. based on listening to the 2 different versions of the song, i think adam has a way better sound. kris sounds just like everyone else on the radio, i think. much like daughtry and the like. i'm thinking adam is gonna do WAY better in his career...based solely on the fact that his sound is fresh and new.
who care about idol! Adam is our winner no matter what! Reason why he didn't win was because everybody thought that he was gonna win and I did too! Adam, and Kris and Danny are phenominal singers so it doesnt matter Adam is and will always be the winner of season 8!
Well i was a big fan for both since the beginning but i thought that adam was gonna win but im happy for both of them they are gonna move on to do great things i know it! and every time they come out with a cd im definetly buying it! adam and kris are both amazing they are just really different but they made it work for both of them.

I wonder why Idol also released Adam Lambert's "No boundaries" in Itunes considering he is 2nd runner-up. When I bought Adam's version of the song in Itunes, I checked popularity rating, Adam's chart is wider than the so-called winner of American Idol. How ironic!

Adam Should have won if it really was a singing competition. That boy has more talent then Ive seen in any of the American idol winners, besides Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson they rank about even.
