Unlike Adam Lambert's "Time for Miracles" video which is full of explosion, this new video mainly showcases Kris' talent as he strums his guitar and plays the piano.
"It was cool because we actually shot it in the desert in L.A. in the middle of nowhere in this junkyard and we had this set," Kris told PopEater. "It was this huge digital clock which was really cool and it was kind of raggedy looking and we shot it from 8 P.M. to 8 A.M. in the morning. That was crazy, with no breaks at all."

The eight season drew an estimated 28.84 million viewers, according to preliminary data from Nielsen, when Kris Allen was crowned as the new champion of "American Idol". The number, in fact, is in tie to the season 3 finale when Fantasia Barrino won over Diana DeGarmo in 2004. However, the rating is not expected to stay intact since Nielsen is also factoring on the 7 minutes overrun and the time zone differences.

Randy Jackson actually liked it but Kara DioGuardi despised the part where he danced with the saxophone solo. She said she would not remember the performance tomorrow. Paula loved the whole thing, the dancing and the singing. Simon Cowell called the dancing "desperate" and the song choice bad. Paula and Simon later on argued and she punched him. Danny defended the song choice, saying "I want to sing that song!".

Ryan Seacrest announced that 25 million of votes were cast last night but before he can read out who got the most, montage of the performances are shown in flashes. Allison Iraheta, the red-hair who impressed the judges with her rendition of Heart's "Alone", is called first. Jesse Langseth and Matt Breitzke are called in also to join Allison and Ryan said one of them will move on to the next round. Matt and Jesse go home, Allison Iraheta secures the spot and takes the stage again to sing her song.
