The wedding day has arrived. In the 100th episode of "Grey's Anatomy" which is written by executive producer Shonda Rhimes, Meredith finally walks down the isle to say her vow to Derek. However, as they prepare for the wedding a car crash happens.
A group of college students, injured in a car crash as they were heading to their graduation ceremony, is admitted to the ER. Meanwhile, Izzie fears the worst when she begins experiencing familiar symptoms. The episode called "What a Difference a Day Makes" airs May 7.
Meanwhile, a website has been created for the fictional wedding. Rhimes had the idea of making the website created by Izzie who is the wedding planner. "I said, 'It should feel like a real wedding Web site,'" said Rhimes.
In the latest blog entry, Alex Karev wrote on behalf of Izzie, saying "Izzie's in surgery right now, but I know she would want me to update this blog of hers and let you know that we have decided on the shrimp for the wedding. Thanks to MY taste buds, of course. Izzie said you all would be clamoring for this info, so... there you have it."
