The Rat Pack night sees the top 5 of 'American Idol' singing classics from 'My Funny Valentine' to 'Feeling Good'.

This week on "", the remaining five contestants will be singing songs made popular by The Rat Pack, a way-back-when group of entertainers that consists among others, , and Sammy Davis, Jr. Two important notes, actor slash singer would be the mentor and each contestant has two phone lines for voting.

To open the night, the show put first. Paula was glad that Allison sang a ballad. Simon asked Allison whether she has a chance in the competition, and she said she has a shot. "I don't feel that belief in you still...I have a horrible feeling you could be in trouble tonight," Simon then said.

Matt Giraud sang "My Funny Valentine", and Jamie advised him to lower the key. Randy was not a fan of it, noting that it didn't all come up together. Kara did not feel the emotion and Matt's connection to the song. Paula loved it and so did Simon. "The only believable authentic song I've heard all night," Simon said.

Kara said, "You're shocking in a good, confusing and shocking and sleazy and superb and way over the top but I like it!" Paula said it was like watching Olympics, and Adam is . Simon said he was the best entrance they had all year.

Our family love you to death!!! You are a brilliant singer!!!!. America was wrong to put you bottom three. Our family will not watch you if you get eliminated next week. Everyone else is boring.
