Kelly Rowland 'is thought to be no longer commercially viable by her bosses at Columbia Records,' rumor says.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Rowland is claimed to have been dropped by her label, Columbia Records. The rumor emerges just two months after she parted ways with former manager Mathew Knowles, who is also Beyonce Knowles' father.

No official statement has been made in regard of the issue. But, News of the World reports that despite the fact her two solo albums sold more than 4 million copies, "the Grammy-winner is thought to be no longer commercially viable by her bosses at Columbia Records."

Kelly Rowland joined Beyonce Knowles and LaTavia Roberson in a girl group Girl's Tyme, which is later known as Destiny's Child. She and the other members claimed their fame as the group' self-titled debut album "Destiny's Child" became a massive hit, selling more than 3 million copies worldwide.

Kelly has also released two solo studio albums, "Simply Deep" and "Ms. Kelly". And now, she is working on another solo studio album, which is yet to be titled.

Kelly decided to end her professional relationship with Matthew Knowles earlier in late January "after a very positive meeting." Matthew said, "My company, Music World, will continue to manage Destiny's Child as a group. As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost, and as a dad I only have love for Kelly."

In the meantime, Kelly has been hitting studio, working with David Guetta for his upcoming fourth studio album in addition to crafting new songs for her own effort. She will also be seen leading a panel of judges charged with assessing the work of professional fashion designers in Bravo TV's new reality show "The Fashion Show".
