After being rushed to hospital for stomach pain, Josh Hartnett currently is still under observation, yet resting comfortably.

AceShowbiz - Actor Josh Hartnett was rushed to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles early Monday morning, March 30 after complaining of abdominal pain. As of press time, he is still put under observation, yet resting comfortably, a representative for the movie star has confirmed.

Josh, 30, was enjoying a night out at the famed Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood when he suddenly felt the pain in his stomach. A friend of his then made a 911 call, asking for an ambulance.

The L.A. City Fire Department has been quoted as confirming to Access Hollywood that a 911 call indeed was made at 12:53 A.M. on Monday from the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood, informing someone was complaining of abdominal pains. Though so, there was no official confirmation that the ailing person was Josh.

Amids sketchy details on Josh's hospitalization, his publicist Susan Patricola was quick to issue a statement, explaining "Josh Hartnett walked into an ambulance at approximately 1:45 A.M. this morning suffering from a flare-up of a gastro-intestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the West End of London during the production of 'Rain Man'".

Meanwhile, an onlooker who happened to be at the same hotel with Josh told Radar Online that the star "looked pale, dirty and disheveled" and that he "stumbled around the hotel bar" for a while on late Friday night, March 27 and into the early morning hours of Saturday, March 28. "He didn't appear to be drinking, but he wasn't himself. He looked troubled. He didn't seem to have anyone with him," the onlooker revealed further.

There are no further details on Josh's exact ailment though. It is also not known on when he will be discharged from the hospital.
