In the on-set interview with MTV, and , the two leading actors of Guy Ritchie's "" open up on various topics from the script to the dynamic between their characters, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson respectively. While careful enough not to spoil the plot, the co-stars share that one of the interesting things from the movie is the "bromance".

Admitting that he thinks the casting of Downey Jr. will make the project "something exciting", Law revealed that the movie will explore the relationship between Watson and Holmes, saying "And as soon as I met him, we got on very well - which is a good sign - and we both agreed that we wanted to really make this a piece about the relationship between Watson and Holmes." Downey Jr. added, "I think the word bromance is so passe. We are two men who happen to be roommates who wrestle a lot and share a bed."

On the dynamic between the two characters, Law further explained, "When you go back to the books, there's so much more. They're both meaner, harder, more complicated. They both live in a London that is much seedier and much more dangerous. And when you highlight the interesting elements in the [original] stories and turn them into a modern sensibility, you've got a really exciting equation."

The first major big-screen version of "Sherlock Holmes" in more than 20 years, "Sherlock Holmes" will present a new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous characters. The movie will see Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson on their latest challenge. Having lethal fighting skills in addition to his legendary intellect, Holmes attempts to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

In addition to Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, the cast ensemble is also built up with the joining of as Irene Adler, Holmes' love interest, and as villainous Lord Blackwood. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the Warner Bros. film is due for U.S. release on November 13.
