David Archuleta has announced a series of tour dates in support of his self-titled debut album. The runner up of "American Idol" season seven will begin traveling across America on February 24 at Sandler PAC in Virginia Beach, VA.
The following day, David will be heading up to Richmond, VA for another live concert at The National. After that, he will also make stops in Lancaster, Oklahoma and San Antonio among other major cities before wrapping it up on March 21 at Knitting Factory in Boise, ID.
For an opening act, labelmate from Jive Records Lesley Roy has been booked for the duty. Fans can log on to his MySpace to obtain details of his tour.
In related news, David Archuleta made a live appearance at Nickelodeon Studios with "iCarly" cast onlooking earlier this week. He performed his new single "A Little Too Not Over You".

The venues in Sayreville, Phoenix, Madison and Chicago are sold out. The House of Blues in Chicago sold out in *15* minutes, Madison sold out in 45 minutes.... WOAHHH! So excited to be seeing him in Virginia Beach! Lotta love for this guy - this is a thrill and a treat to have him on tour!

David is one of those rare performers that actually knows how to sing without having to have his voice enhanced in the studio. His performances are always unbelievable. I wish I was able to go to all the tour stops.
When you hear other singers sing live they sound terrible, but not David. He actually sounds better LIVE. I am wanna see him live so bad! I can't wait for the icarly show with him on it.
