Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have eloped in an outdoor secret nuptials in Big Sur, California on New Year's Eve.

AceShowbiz - Co-stars Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall, who play brother and sister on Showtime's "Dexter", have eloped. The actor's representative, Craig Bankey, tells The Associated Press that the pair exchanged vows in an outdoor private ceremony in Big Sur, California on New Year's Eve. At their wedding, Carpenter's grandfather's wedding band was attached to her bouquet of white roses, according to reports.

Carpenter, 29, and Hall, 37, who have been dating quietly for a year-and-a-half, opted for a secret nuptials that they didn't even invite friends and family members. However, "family and loved ones shared in a celebratory toast to the couple," Bankey claims.

In the Showtime's television series "Dexter", Jennifer Carpenter plays the role of Debra Morgan, the foster sister of the title character, played by Michael C. Hall. The newlyweds are expected to attend the much anticipated 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11, marking their first appearance together as a couple.

Their TV series "Dexter" is up for multiple awards during the gala, including Best Drama Series and Best Actor in a Drama for Hall.
