Comic Con 2009: Trailer of 'Dexter' Season 4 Shared
July 24, 2009 10:07:24A new trailer of "Dexter" was shared during the 2009 San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 23. Presented before the panel was started, the new footage serves as the promotion to the fourth season. It shows the changes within Dexter as he juggles his newly-found experience as a father, and John Lithgow appearing as the new villain, The Trinity.
In the trailer, Dexter is seen rocking his baby and says to him softly, "Wanna know a secret? Daddy kills people." It continues with Dexter living an apparently normal life on the suburbans with Rita and her kids. "Dexter Morgan has everything he wants, except the one thing he needs...time to kill," so the caption is read. Glimpses of Trinity and how he is about to kill a boy's mother were then shown.

The actor's representative, Craig Bankey, tells The Associated Press that the pair exchanged vows in an outdoor private ceremony in Big Sur, California on New Year's Eve. At their wedding, Carpenter's grandfather's wedding band was attached to her bouquet of white roses, according to reports.
Carpenter, 29, and Hall, 37, who have been dating quietly for a year-and-a-half, opted for a secret nuptials that they didn't even invite friends and family members. However, "family and loved ones shared in a celebratory toast to the couple," Bankey claims.
Exclusive Footage of 'Watchmen' and 'Friday the 13th' to Be Featured at 'Scream 2008'

The exciting news was revealed by Spike TV on Tuesday, October 14, through the press release on the honoring of Anthony Hopkins as the recipient of the first-ever Legend Award.
Beside uncovering the world premiere of the footage from the two Warner Bros. highly anticipated movies, the network also came out with more names for the presenters, including Malin Akerman, Selma Blair, Milla Jovovich, Jaime King, Paz Vega, filmmaker Frank Miller, director Jon Favreau, and Michael C. Hall and the cast of "Dexter". Additionally, The Smashing Pumpkins and Kerli have been appointed to be the performers, Pumpkins with their new hit "G.L.O.W." and Kerli with "Walking On Air".
Behind-the-Scene Video of 'Dexter' Season 3
September 10, 2008 04:09:07Before season three of "Dexter" is premiered on Showtime, a behind-the-scene video of the forthcoming season has been unraveled. Introducing the new season as the time when the rules are changed, the video compiles the season descriptions from the series' executive producer Clyde Phillips, leading man Michael C. Hall and other cast members, including Julie Benz and Jennifer Carpenter.
The two-minute long video reveals what to expect from the serial killer working as a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department. Phillips explained that in it, Dexter will be seen becoming his own man and owing his own code, while Hall furthermore suggested that his character will be having a greater understanding of the 'job' he is doing meaning that he may break some rules. The video also reveals the look into the new character, Miguel Prado played by Jimmy Smits.
2007 Satellite Awards TV Winners Unveiled

The popular drama series nabbed three awards all at once, they were Television Series, Drama; Actor in a Series Drama which went to Michael C. Hall; and Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for David Zayas.

The National Broadcasting Company (NBC), an American television network headquartered in the GE Building in New York City's Rockefeller Center, was a big winner at the 23rd annual Television Critics Association (TCA) Awards, held Saturday July 21st at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
The network led the winner list, walked away with four trophies in hand, one of which was the Individual Achievement in Comedy Award that went to Alec Baldwin for his action in its sitcom "30 Rock".

The Television Critics Association (TCA) has on Tuesday June 5th announced numbers of nominees for this year annual award event. Among the programs vie for Program of the Year prize are "American Idol" (Fox), "Friday Night Lights" (NBC), "Heroes" (NBC), "Planet Earth" (Discovery), "The Wire" (HBO), and "When the Levees Broke" (HBO).
For Outstanding Achievement in Comedy category, NBC leads with two, mainly for its "30 Rock" and "The Office" to compete with HBO's "Entourage", Comedy Central's "The Daily Show", and ABC's "Ugly Betty". For the Outstanding Achievement in Drama, NBC earns two for "Friday Night Lights" and "Heroes", while HBO also gets two for "The Sopranos" and "The Wire", in race with ABC's "Lost".

While "Superman Returns," the 2006 superhero film based on the fictional DC Comics character Superman, named the Best Fantasy Film at the 33rd annual Saturn Awards on Thursday May 10th, NBC's science fiction drama television series "Heroes" topped the TV categories.
The series, starring Golden-Globe-nominated American actor Masi Oka and actress-singer Hayden Panettiere just to name a few, was named Best Network Television Series with both stars given the title of Best Supporting Actor on Television and Best Supporting Actress on Television respectively.
