Famous Disney teen sensation Demi Lovato admits to OK! Magazine's Valerie Nome that she looks up to Hayley Williams when it comes to fashionable outfits. "She has great style in her videos. I look up to her," the actress-singer says about considering the Paramore lead vocalist as her fashion icon.
Going into more details about her own fashion style, Demi admits, "I like to try and emphasize what I have, and not really look at other people." She goes on mentioning blow-dryer as her most-have item when she is on tour, explaining, "When I get offstage, I'm sweating like a dog, so I'll probably need to blow-dry my hair because it'll be wet."
Just like other girls at her age, Demi also has role models. On that, she says, "Definitely Hilary Duff because she carried out a great career and she's still going. And Christina Aguilera. She was on Mickey Mouse Club, and look at her now. She's gotten so far."
Optimistically looking at her future, Demi reveals, "When I really, really grow up, I would like to continue this and also work as a director and continue writing." For the time being, she keeps adding more projects into her acting resume, one of which is Disney's comedy-drama series "Sonny with a Chance", which reportedly had began its production last month.

SHE IS A WANNABE. I can't take all of these things as coincidence anymore. First, her album cover is similar to Riot!. I know that other artists have done it before but still, she has no right to copy. And their style is somewhat similar but Demi is trying too hard. The stupid smoky eye is HORRIBLE on her and when she has no make up she looks like a FAGGOT. She keeps complaining how people make fun of her but it's her fault that people do. She's annoying and whiney and always tweets about "Oh, I met this famous person!" or "I'm so thankful for fans.." basically bragging! And GUESS WHAT? She's playing a mental patient on Grey's Anatomy soon named HAYLEY. WHAT IN THE WORLD. That's no coincidence. She's a wannabe!

That's sad. Hayley Williams has a horrible style. She tries too hard to look like a hipster, but honestly her outfits fail. The way she coordinates her "vintage" pieces together makes me want to puke. It's sad that Demi Lovato regards her as her fashion icon. She probably thinks she's being "rocker" and "alternative," when she just looks like every other teenage girl out there.
i dont think demi is copying hayley and i dont think haley is copying demi i think that we should just enjoy the music we like because for all we know hayley and demi might be friends just enjoy the music U like :)

ok so Demi has a rolemodel and does copy some of haleys moves but hey you all have been 16 once and have copied someone in someway if you pay attention to demi's clothing and Haleys they are completely different Halley is more colorful and tomboyish along with edgy Demi has a girly look to her and you can see her youthfulness and seriously have any of you seen haley in anything that resembles demi fashion wise no resemblance vocal movements(head banging hand movements) yes but come on shes a kid and I repeat everyone has gone thru a similar phase.

I agree! She is a wannabee! One she made her album cover look like RIOT's album cover. Two she does the head bang like Hayley but doesn't do it nearly as good! Three she made the song "Here We Go Again" and Paramore has a song with that name. Next she will make a song called "When it Snows."
