'Max Payne' Hits Hollywood With Premiere

The 20th Century Fox have presented their forthcoming video game adaptation movie through a premiere event on Monday, October 13, evening.

AceShowbiz - The live-action adaptation of popular 2001 video game "Max Payne" has rolled down its red carpet in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater in celebration of its Hollywood premiere. The special event was held on Monday, October 13, evening and saw many of its stars as well as celebrity guests walking down the red carpet.

Joining director John Moore for the special occasion was the leading man Mark Wahlberg. The 37-year-old actor arrived to the premiere accompanied by his actress fiancee Rhea Durham. Aside from Wahlberg, other cast ensemble spotted at the event included Mila Kunis, Chris O'Donnell, Nelly Furtado, Ludacris, Amaury Nolasco, Marianthi Evan and Donal Logue.

Making the evening even merrier were the attendance of several other celebrity guests. Spotted among the guests were "House M.D." actress Jennifer Morrison; reality TV star Kristin Cavalleri; the Daphne Millbrook of "Heroes", Brea Grant; and "Crank: High Voltage" actress Bai Ling.

Telling the story of a vengeful cop, "Max Payne" follows the titular character as he falls into a nightmarish journey into a dark underworld, where he has to fight enemies beyond the natural world, while tracking down people behind the brutal murder of his family and partner. Penned by Beau Thorne, the flick will blast the theaters nationwide this Friday on October 17.
