Nathan Petrelli Is Killed on 'Heroes'
November 03, 2009 09:11:03The "Heroes" character who will be killed off is none other than Peter's flying brother. Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood said that Adrian Pasdar is let go from the show and Kristin Dos Santos from E! Online added that the actor was not fired but he found it out from reading the script.
Nathan was actually one of the characters whom actor Greg Grunberg said was safe when the news about a major death in "Heroes" leaked last month. Santos' source said, "I know Adrian is getting killed off and was pissed about it because they didn't tell him...Greg could be talking about another death but I think he's probably covering and throwing fans off." There is still no word on how Nathan's exit from the show will be.

Sneak Peeks to 'Heroes' 4.08: Once Upon a Time in Texas
October 29, 2009 11:10:36Jayma Mays makes her return to "Heroes" in the upcoming episode and some clips that show Hiro's second attempt to save her Charlie have been released. Sam warns Hiro that saving Charlie has the potential of altering the future, possibly in a destructive way. The question is, "Is she worth it?".
Through the first clip, it is found out that Sam has a motive to find Hiro, which is saving his traveling group from decreasing in number. When Hiro travels back three years into the past, Sam tags along and it complicates the situation. However, Hiro manages to prevent Charlie from being killed as seen in one of the clips where she finally gets to open the fruit can.

October 27, 2009 02:10:32Jayma Mays is making a comeback to "Heroes", thanks to Hiro's ability to time-travel. Her character Charlie Andrews who was introduced in the eighth episode of the first season and died immediately is brought back to life when Hiro travels three years into the past.
Charlie, a waitress in a Texan diner where Hiro stopped by, has the ability to memorize things quickly and recall them accurately. She was murdered by Sylar in the storeroom with her head split open. In an attempt to save her, Hiro once traveled back to the past but was teleported to Japan before he could warn her.

Online, there will be a major death which scenario is still in the works. Two things about which character will meet an unfortunate path are: it's a male and he's one of the original cast.
The average rating for "Heroes" has been steadily declining since its second season in September 2007. The show which is not exactly cheap to make is down 34 percent from last year's average rating and 47 percent lower than the second season's.

The fifth volume of the series, "Redemption" picks up right after Nathan died and Sylar becoming him. In two of the clips, HRG is in denial about turning Sylar into Nathan and Matt tells Angela that he gave up using the ability that made Sylar thinking he is Nathan.
The other clips give away Claire and Gretchen's first encounter, Hiro talking to Samuel, Peter doing his job as a paramedic and a blade-welding Edgar in action. Brand New Poster of 'Heroes' Volume 5
August 19, 2009 04:08:37A brand new poster of "Heroes" has come out via UGO, featuring two of the protagonists and the villain. Claire stands tall, facing the camera while pictures of Hiro and Sylar are embedded behind her. The caption in the artwork is read, "Greater Evil, Greater Good".
Whether or not this grouping will create a story arc in the new season, it is still unknown. Last seen in the fourth volume, Hiro was facing a health crisis as a result of over-using his ability, while Claire was again trying to lead a normal life as a college student. She reportedly will be involved in a same-sex relationship with her roommate in 'Redemption'.

Season 4 Trailer of 'Heroes'
July 30, 2009 09:07:22A new trailer of "Heroes" is released by The Hollywood Reporter, slightly different from the one screened at the recent San Diego Comic Con. It lacks some key scenes such as Claire's lip lock with her lesbian interest but has more scenes from the season premiere and the next few episodes.
One dominant character featured on the trailer is the new villain, Samuel, who is played by Robert Knepper. This character is the ringleader of a carnival whose objective is to recruit people with special abilities. Their purpose though, remains a mystery. Knepper has been upped as a regular and thus Samuel will be a major storyline in the fifth volume, "Redemption".

'Heroes': Robert Knepper Promoted, Tessa Thompson Hired
July 29, 2009 02:07:22Fans of "Heroes" will be seeing a lot more of Robert Knepper in the fourth season as his character has been promoted to be a regular. Knepper joins the show as the new villain named Samuel who will be the centerpiece of the fifth volume, "Redemption".
Samuel was originally intended for six episodes only but he has since appeared in every episode of season 4. This was also the case with Zachary Quinto's Sylar who started off as a recurring role and continued drawing enthusiasm with his evil deeds.

Bryan Fuller Confirms 'Heroes' Exit

The producer/writer initially walked out of the series in 2007 to concentrate on his new show "Pushing Daisies" but he was back a year later after "Daisies" got canceled by ABC, signing a two-year deal with Universal Media Studios to be the writer starting episode 3.20.
This time around, he is out from the show to pursue a project with NBC and not because he has a creative difference with creator Tim Kring like some have reported. "I'm crafting two pilots right now and it's a lot of work," Fuller told EW. "It was just too hard to [juggle] Heroes and my development; something had to give."

To EW, Fuller said that the talks of another season has been brewing for some time. "We've spent a lot of time in the writers room talking about what season 4 is going to look like," he said. Sylar Reunites With Dad in 'Heroes': Shades of Gray

They are joined by the cast of the network's "Chuck" and "Medium," naming some are Patricia Arquette and co-star Jake Weber, both of whom play husband and wife in supernatural drama "Medium."
The 32-second footage has been made public during the Super Bowl XLIII game, which was kicked off on Sunday, February 1. Being shot singing the song in various different scenes, the whole cast of the three TV series are seen at the end of the Superbowl Promo dancing all together to the track.

A promo introducing the new volume which is titled "Fugitives" has been released along with a preview of the first episode of the new chapter. The "Fugitives" sneak peek was played during the final minutes of episode 3.13 that wrapped up the third volume on Monday, December 15.
No title has been suggested for the first episode of "Fugitives" but from the clip, it looks like there would be a large scheme to have all the superheroes gathered in a sanctuary where they are considered harmless to the public. In the "Fugitives" clip, it is shown that Nathan is in a secret meeting with the president of United States, to seek his help in having all the heroes including Claire, Hiro and Matt, captured.

John Glover Joining 'Heroes' as Sylar's Father

It is known that they got their superpowers when the first eclipse occurred and thus, they have no idea what the second one will bring. November 07, 2008 09:11:05Several new clips from the upcoming episode of "Heroes" have been released by NBC. Four sneak peeks provide viewers into the November 10 episode which is called "Villains", the chapter when Hiro travels through time to find out the heroes and villains' past.
In preparation for the final battle between him and his foes, Hiro investigates what happened in the past of Arthur Petrelli that he created Pinehearst and hates Angela. The first clip shows a conversation between Arthur and Linderman in a party where Arthur orders Linderman to "kill" someone. The second one is between Sylar and Elle with the latter trying to convince the former that he's not a bad person.

'Heroes' Co-Executive Producers Off From Their Duties
November 03, 2008 02:11:17Rating and margin problems that revolve around NBC's science fiction series, "Heroes", go further by the axing of the series' co-executive producers off from their duties. It has been exclusively reported by Variety that Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb are leaving the three years old series that they have been working on since the first season.
In the production of the series, both Alexander and Loeb were working together as the show's writers as well as producers, leading the production operation under the direction of Tim Kring, the series' creator and executive producer. Loeb is expert in his field, creating stories or characters as he has done in comic books "Batman", "The Hulk", and "Superman For All Seasons". Meanwhile, Alexander has rolled the same position as co-executive producer in "Lost" and "Alias".

Previews of 'Heroes' 3.08: Villains

The eight episode which is titled "Villains" will see Hiro investigating the defining moments in the pasts of Arthur Petrelli, Sylar and Flint in order to prepare for an eventual showdown with his foes.
Two kinds of promo for the episode which will air on November 10 have been brought forward. It reveals how a father's lie brings a butterfly effect to the future and how Gabriel aka Sylar came in terms with the demon inside him. The episode will also provide lots of flashback of various heroes and villains.

October 23, 2008 03:10:34Giving more sneak peeks into the episode 3.07 of "Heroes", NBC network have let out four clips from the episode titled "Eris Quod Sum". Compiled into one video player, the footage kicks off with the clip in which Elle talks with Claire about the help she may find at Pinehurst. It then switches to the scene when Peter wakes up, finds himself handcuffed to a bed and learns that Arthur has taken his abilities.
The third clip brings Arthur face-to-face with Mohinder. Discovering for the first time that Arthur has lied about his death, Mohinder questions how Arthur can give out such lie and talks about what he wants to achieve with Maya. In the last clip, which is the shortest of all, it is previewed that Tracey and Nathan confront Mohinder about him eliminating their abilities and using them for his experiment to save Maya.

The October 27 episode will also see evil Mohinder attacking Nathan and Tracy who initially came to him to seek help. Nathan and Tracy also try to save Maya and other subjects held captive by Mohinder. A body carried on a stretcher is hinted as a lifeless Maya.

Zeljko Ivanek of 'Damages' Cast on 'Heroes'
October 18, 2008 11:10:47Slovenia born American actor, Zeljko Ivanek, will make his debut appearance on NBC hit series, "Heroes", playing as The Hunter for 10 episodes. The Hunter character will appear on "Heroes" third season's "Volume Four: Fugitives".
There is a hint that the Emmy Award winning actor will have such an important role in the third season because his debut will be on episode 14 when the "Fugitives" begins. "Fugitives" which is also written by "Heroes" creator, Tim Kring, will be aired in late January or early February 2009. The volume premiere will build up the last 12 episodes of "Heroes" season 3.

Focusing on the dilemma faced by many of the heroes, the footage teases the moment Angela reveals from whom Nathan obtains his ability, while Claire is once again put on the position where she questions whom to trust. There is one interesting tidbit at the end of the video that terrified Angela.
Titled "Angels and Monsters", the 3.05 episode tells the story when Claire tries to take down her first target armed with H.R.G.'s old files and a taser, while Peter who runs from all the death and destruction in the future discovers that he has been changed by the experience. The episode as previewed on the video, will see Peter's attempt in finding out why Claire becomes bad in the future and Niki trying to jump off a building while her status is being searched by Traci Strauss. But perhaps the most anticipated continuation is that the story of Angela who told Sylar that he is a Petrelli. Angela told Sylar to be "strong for what's to come".
