Back in August, there was a rumor that Cameron, the character played by Morrison, will be written off the story after she is having troubles with her husband Chase. Jennifer Morrison to Bow Out From 'House M.D.'
September 25, 2009 10:09:25One doctor will be saying goodbye to "House M.D." before season 6 ends. According to EW, Jennifer Morrison will end her run as Dr. Allison Cameron this mid-season. The actress who has played the character since the medical drama debuted in 2004 has reportedly shot her last scene earlier this week.
Being the first of the original cast members to depart, Morrison didn't quit on her job, rather her exit was a creative decision that came from the show's producers. Her character won't be killed off like Kal Penn's Kutner and her on-screen husband Jesse Spencer's Chase is staying at Princeton-Plainsboro, leaving door open for her to make a guest appearance later in the season. Her final episode will air in November.

First Look Into 'House M.D.' Snakes on a Cane Promo
September 04, 2009 10:09:10FOX has given the first look into their "House M.D." ad campaign that makes use of Hugh Laurie's "Snakes on a Cane" idea. In the ad that imitates The Caduceus symbol used in medical field, House literally is wrapped by two pythons and is attached to wings. The tag, meanwhile, is read "incurably himself".
The ad was shot over the summer, using real snakes which Laurie joked about. "I remember Hugh asking the snake wrangler if the snakes had names. He replied, 'No, because they don't come when you call'," said Exec Producer Katie Jacobs. The actor came up with the idea in Spring when he thought about the phrase "snakes on a cane" and quickly sketched a symbol to be presented to FOX's marketing department.

One of the things that he imagined was making love to Cuddy. In its scoop EW said that Cuddy discovers this fact and "confronts him" because "she wants to know where all that stands."

Instead of jumping two months ahead between the seasons like usual, the sixth season will start a few days after House checks in to Mayfield Psychiatic Hospital. "It's been a very dark and challenging experience but a good one," Hugh Laurie dished. "He's a character seeking redemption in some way or another, and I think there's always a glimmer of hope, but it is a dark place to start. It's a character going through a very traumatic experience."

For years, House has solved many rare and mysterious medical cases, but he never faces one with a gun. A sick man, played by Primetime Emmy-winning actor, Zeljko Ivanek, comes in House's office, complaining that he has sought help from 16 doctors in the last two years but none helps.
When House refuses to help him, he takes out a gun and threatens the doctor's life unless House finds a cure for him. The man then holds House, Thirteen, and several patients hostage in Cuddy's office. He also forces Thirteen to act as a guinea pig for his treatments and House has to end the standoff before a SWAT team opens fire. Lisa Eldstein who plays Cuddy told E! on this particular scene, "They happen to be in my office, so I'm trying to make sure everybody stays alive."

Focusing on the time when House finds out that his father has passed away, the footage shows glimpses on how his diagnostic team and friends try to make reluctant House coming to his grieving mother's aid and console her. Joined by Wilson, House finally gets in the car and embarks on a journey home without losing his sarcastic side at all.
Aside from dealing with his father's death, in the fourth episode of the fifth season called "Birthmarks", House will be faced with another mysterious case. Away from his team because he has to attend his father funeral, he must help his team on making the differential diagnosis on a young Chinese woman who collapsed while searching for her birth parents. This episode will not be aired until October 14.

September 20, 2008 02:09:23Four clips from the upcoming episode of "House M.D." are available in courtesy of Fox. The September 23 episode of the medical comedy series will be titled "Not Cancer", presenting a rare case where a donor's organs cause several sudden deaths of their recipients.
The first and fourth clips show House dealing with the patients who survive from death after receiving an organ from a donor who has caused several deaths to others. Second and third clip show House hiring private detective to investigate and watch on his team and Wilson's move. Wilson announced his departure from the hospital in the beginning of the new season, and House is still unable to accept his decision.

"Not Cancer" will be the second episode of the series which has just entered its fifth season with an episode called "Dying Changes Everything" where Dr. Wilson announces his departure from the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.
In "Not Cancer", House will hire a private investigator to spy on his team's move as well as Wilson's. The leading medical case this time is when a donor's organs cause several deaths of their recipients. In the last attempts to save the remaining organs receivers, House has to work with the team against time.

Following the bus accident and a personal tragedy, Wilson decides to resign and consequently retract from his friendship with House. In the meantime, Thirteen is mending her own medical problem while treating a patient who has similar character traits as her.
