Rapper Timbaland to Appear on ABC's "One Life to Live"

Rapper-producer Timbaland will appear on ABC's "One Life to Live" on Oct. 9th, the network confirmed Wednesday September 19th.

ABC television network announced Wednesday September 19th, Timbaland will appear in an upcoming episode of its long running soap opera "One Life to Live."

The rapper-producer will make his daytime acting debut, playing himself on the soap while will perform two songs, "The Way I Are" and "Apologize," from his recent chart-topper LP "Timbaland Presents Shock Value," alongside the artists who accompanied him on the studio tracks, Keri Hilson for the first song and OneRepublic for the latter one.

"This is a new experience for me, I am looking forward to having a great time and sharing my music!" Timbaland said in a statement on his taking part in the soap opera. The show's executive producer Frank Valentini meanwhile praised Timbaland to have "made a vast contribution to the music industry as an artist and producer. I am a huge fan of his music and we look forward to him appearing on our show."

The likes of Mary J. Blige, Jeannie Ortega, Lifehouse, Simply Red, Chris Botti, and Erykah Badu have also performed on the show.
