The music video of Melissa Etheridge's "Message to Myself" has been premiered on Yahoo!. To balance the meaningful song, Melissa had her friends and wife Tammy Lynn Michaels to give a cameo on the video.
'Message to Myself' is a lead single from the rock singer's ninth album 'The Awakening', due September 25 via Island. The album follows in the vein of her 2004 release, 'Lucky' that peaked at #15 in Billboard's 200.
Other tracks to appear in the album are "Threesome," "The Universe Listened," "I've Loved You Before," "An Unexpected Rain" and "California." All of the tracks began taking shape when she won Oscar's Best Original Song for "I Need to Wake Up".
