Jermaine Dupri Fierce Over Usher's Leaked Singles

Producer Jermaine Dupri is furious after a track he recorded with Usher leaked onto the internet. Several songs from the "Yeah!" hitmaker's upcoming album, "Raymond vs. Raymond", surfaced online last month, December 2010 without the star's consent, including "Fooling Around", a track produced by Dupri.

The tunes were scheduled for release in Europe in February and the U.S. in March - but hit the web more than two months before its expected release date. Dupri is fuming over the leak and has taken to his blog to vent his frustration.

Shania Twain Signs to Be Journalist

Country star Shania Twain is putting her journalism skills to the test - she's signed up to interview the Queen of Jordan for a Canadian radio program. The singer will guest-host an episode of The Current show for the country's Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) later this month, January 2010.

And Twain has agreed to interview Queen Rania of Jordan for a segment in the program, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The star will put her questions to the royal in Toronto, Canada on Friday, January 8, 2010.

Tila Tequila Shares Farewell-to-Casey Johnson Video

Grieving Tila Tequila has paid an emotional goodbye to her fiancee Casey Johnson in a farewell video posted online. The internet pin-up-turned-reality TV star was heartbroken after Johnson, who proposed to Tequila last month, December 2009 was found dead at her Los Angeles home on Monday, January 4, 2010.

The star has since had photographers camping outside her home and even found herself embroiled in a fight with the heiress' friends Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips on Wednesday, January 6 over Johnson's pet pooches, which Tequila had been caring for.

'Avatar' and 'The Hurt Locker' Directors Among 2010 DGA Awards Noms

James Cameron will compete against his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow for the Directors Guild of America's (DGA) top honour later this month (30Jan10). Cameron won the DGA Feature Film Award 12 years ago for epic love story "Titanic" and he's nominated for the prize again for his sci-fi blockbuster "Avatar".

Bigelow - who divorced the filmmaker in 1991 - is a first-time nominee, earning the nod for her war film "The Hurt Locker". Lee Daniels ("Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire"), Jason Reitman ("Up in the Air") and Quentin Tarantino ("Inglourious Basterds") have also been nominated for the Guild prize.

'Iron Man 3' Could Use 'Demon in a Bottle' Story

While "Iron Man 2" has yet to be released in U.S. theaters, there has been talk about the next movie. In a recent interview with MTV, War Machine co-creator Bob Layton has shared his thought on the possible storyline for "Iron Man 3".

"I think they've come up with a terrific segue to the third film, which I think is going to be fairly powerful," Layton said. "My understanding is that the third film could very well be the 'Demon in a Bottle' story mixed in there with everything and I'm kind of looking forward to that, if that's where they wind up going."

Jackson Rathbone Forced to Drop His Varg Vikernes Role

"Twilight" star Jackson Rathbone has been forced to pull out of playing rocker-turned-killer Varg Vikernes in a new movie. The actor, who played Jasper Hale in the vampire love story, was due to take the lead role in "Lords of Chaos" but has dropped out because of a scheduling clash, reports Blabbermouth.net.

Vikernes, the former frontman for Norwegian black metal outfit Burzum, was jailed for the 1993 murder of Mayhem guitarist Oystein Aarseth. The incarcerated rocker was also found guilty of burning down three churches. Sion Sono's film will take a close look at Norway's black metal subculture of the early 1990s.

Adam Lambert Denies 'Glee', Wants 'True Blood' and Confirms 'Oprah'

For the second time in the last six months, Adam Lambert was rumored to appear on "Glee" but Adam has come forward with the denial. Per National Enquirer, Adam was said to be a "big-brother" type of mentor to Kurt, a gay character played by Chris Colfer. "Glee guest star rumor: it's a rumor. Sorry guys," Adam tweeted.

Adam however does not shut down the possibility of him guest starring on other TV shows. Among the series that he mentioned are HBO's "True Blood", Showtime's "Weeds" and The CW's "Gossip Girl". In a series of tweets, Adam said, "If I had to pick a show to guest star on I'd loooooooove to be on True Blood. Or Weeds. Those shows are amazing. Prob need some major acting classes though first. The casts of both those shows are first rate."

Preview of Usher's 'Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)' Music Video

A snippet to Usher's music video promoting his new single called "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" has been unleashed. The video is yet to have any fixed release date, but it is rumored to be premiered sometime soon.

Featuring Plies, "Hey Daddy" is expected to be included in Usher's upcoming sixth studio project "Raymond vs. Raymond". Prior to the album release date February 16, several tracks which may make the cut to the album have been leaked. Most recently, the one called "Fooling Around" which is produced by Jermaine Dupri emerged.

MTV Wants 'Jersey Shore' Back for Second Season

Bruised but not battered, "Jersey Shore" is set to stay firm on MTV. Cast member Vinny Guadagino told several ladies at "Youth in Revolt" after-party on Tuesday, January 5 that the network wants them to be back for a second summer in Seaside Heights.

"They want us to do another season," Vinny said to the women at La Pomme in NYC. The girls wanted him to join them to another club but Vinny emphasized that he could not "go out and make unpaid appearances."

Reese Witherspoon Swaps Clothes With Friends

Reese Witherspoon has a novel way of pinching pennies when it comes to her glamorous wardrobe - she and her girlfriends meet regularly to swap clothes. The "Walk the Line" star, who commands $20 million per movie, admits she is cautious about how much she spends on fashion and even "recycles" outfits by trading with pals.

She tells Britain's InStyle magazine, "There are three of us who wear pretty much the same size, so we'll get together on a Friday night and I'll bring clothes I want to trade and they'll bring theirs. We swap shoes and handbags a lot. I wore my girlfriend's dress to a wedding recently. It's fun."

Rep Denies Lil Wayne's 'Rebirth' Pushed Back for Summer Release

A spokesperson for Lil Wayne has thrown cold water to rumor suggesting that the rapper's forthcoming album "Rebirth" has been pushed back to June 22. The publicist said the effort will still hit the U.S. market on February 2.

Led by single "Prom Queen", "Rebirth" is Weezy's first rock-inspired album. In December 2009, it was reported that its 500 copies have been prematurely shipped off to Amazon customers, causing it to leak six weeks prior to the release date.

'Green Lantern' Gets Green Light, to Start Shooting in March

Warner Bros. Pictures has moved forward with "Green Lantern". Visual effects supervisor Karen Goulekas recently posted an update about the film through her blog page that this movie adaptation of DC Comics character has got its official green light, MTV reported.

"'Green Lantern' got the official green light today," Goulekas wrote on Wednesday, January 6. She additionally hinted that the film will kick off its principal photography in March, claiming "And not a second too soon - only 10 weeks out from shooting!"

James Franco Will Be Seen Cutting Arm in 'General Hospital'

James Franco is following up his stint on "General Hospital" with a more adventurous role - he's signed up to play a real-life mountaineer who amputated his own arm. The actor has been cast in Danny Boyle's upcoming 127 Hours, based on the true story of climber Aron Ralston who was forced to saw off his limb after a boulder fell onto him while he was climbing in Utah in 2003.

Ralston was trapped in the canyon for five days before he used a blunt knife to free himself and was eventually rescued by helicopter. Boyle is drafting the script with Simon Beaufoy, who wrote the screenplay for his 2008 hit "Slumdog Millionaire". Filming is scheduled to begin in March 2010 in Utah.

Remix of Mariah Carey's single "Up Out My Face" has made its way out. Featuring Nicki Minaj's vocal on the hook, the track is one of the re-recorded singles which will appear in the R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop repackage of Mariah's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" album.

Earlier this week, a revamped version of Mariah's "Angles Cry" song has also hit the web. In the "Angels Cry" remix, the wife of Nick Cannon who recently won Favorite R&B Artist at 2010 People's Choice Awards joins forces with Ne-Yo.
