Clay Aiken Running for Congress to Challenge Rep. Renee Ellmers

From "American Idol", Clay Aiken is attempting to make a transition to politic. The "Idol" season 2 runner-up announced on Wednesday, February 5 that he's running for Congress in his native North Carolina, campaigning for Democratic nominee to challenge Republican Rep. Renee Ellmers.

"I am not a politician," he said in a video put up on his campaign site. "I never want to be one. But I do want to bring back, at least to my corner of North Carolina, the idea that someone can go to Washington to represent all the people, whether they voted for you or not."

'Biggest Loser' Winner Rachel Frederickson Faces Criticism for Weight Loss

The new winner of "The Biggest Loser" is facing criticism on social media for her extreme weight loss. Rachel Frederickson, the 24-year-old voice-over artist from Los Angeles, won the 15th season of the reality show on the February 4 finale after shedding 155 lbs. or 59.62% of her initial weight.

Some people thought Rachel, who appeared in silver dress during the final weigh-in, looked anorexic. "One girl on the biggest loser lost so much weight that she looks anorexic and this was the reaction of the trainers," a Twitter user by the name of Gunner wrote alongside a picture of Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.

Dylan Farrow's Brother Came to Woody Allen's Defense

A family member of Woody Allen came to his defense in the midst of attack against him from daughter Dylan Farrow. Family therapist Moses Farrow, whom the director adopted together with ex-lover Mia Farrow, accused their mother of poisoning Dylan into hating their father.

Earlier this month, Dylan wrote an article for New York Times, detailing sexual abuse that Allen did to her when she was only 7. She said she would often hide from her father and later developed eating disorder due to trauma. According to her story, she told Mia at one point and it triggered the split between her parents. However, Moses told a different version of the story.

Rebekah and Klaus are not safe yet. Following the bloody 13th episode of "The Originals", Elijah is still looking for his two siblings, who have been taken by the witches. In a preview for the next outing, Rebekah is awake and begins hallucinating in what looks like an asylum, while Klaus is in chain.

"Just because we can't kill them, doesn't mean they can't be destroyed," Genevieve wickedly says. Meanwhile, Elijah realizes that Rebekah and Klaus suffer horribly and "the longer the game, the more they suffer."

One of Cory Monteith's Last Songs With His Band Bonnie Dune Released

Cory Monteith's band Bonnie Dune has released one of the songs they recorded together before the "Glee" star died last July. The track is titled "Maybe Tonight" and it will be featured in "Miramar", the band's debut album.

The album will contain six songs, which were all recorded in Los Angeles with Monteith serving as the drummer. The band's lead vocalist Justin Wilczynski told E! News that they had finished the tracks "quite a while ago."

DMX and George Zimmerman to Fight Each Other in Boxing Match

George Zimmerman, who was acquitted of second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin last year, will face DMX in an upcoming celebrity boxing match. The boxing promoter Damon Feldman told TMZ that the 43-year-old rapper was chosen from 15,000 people who signed up for the match. Details about the date, time, and location will be announced next Wednesday.

DMX recently revealed what he wanted to do on the ring. "I am going to beat the living f**k out him ... I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up," he said, before adding that he wanted to literally piss on Zimmerman.

Ke$ha kicked off 2014 by checking herself into rehab to treat her eating disorder. Now, the eccentric singer announces that she will postpone her U.S. tour dates scheduled for March and April to continue treatment.

"I was so looking forward to performing at these dates but I need to follow my doctor's advice and get my health back on track," the singer said in a statement released on Tuesday, February 4. "All of your support during this time has been so amazing. I couldn't have done this without you all. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever on the next tour."

Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea has reacted to accusations that he wasn't really playing his bass during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2. On Tuesday, the musician wrote an open letter, in which he admitted to faking his performance when his band took the stage to sing "Give It Away" with halftime headliner Bruno Mars.

Flea revealed that he mimed playing his instrument because he was told to do so. "When we were asked by the NFL and Bruno to play our song 'Give It Away' at the Super Bowl, it was made clear to us that the vocals would be live, but the bass, drums and guitar would be pre-recorded," he explained.

"The Flash" cast line-up is expanding with the addition of two new actors. At almost the same time, Candice Patton and Carlos Valdes nabbed regular roles on the potential new series based on DC Comics' character.

Patton, who has starred on "The Game", is cast in the female lead role on the "Arrow" spin-off. She will portray Iris West, a grad student who is also Barry Allen's quick-witted best friend and the daughter of Detective West (Jesse L. Martin). She later becomes a love interest for Barry.

Four People Arrested in Connection to Philip Seymour Hoffman's Death

Four people reportedly have been arrested in connection to drugs found in Philip Seymour Hoffman's apartment. According to New York Daily News, Police raided a Chinatown apartment on Mott Street at around 7 P.M. on Tuesday, February 4 and took the four people into custody. All of them are charged with possession of narcotics.

CBS News additionally reports that two men were arrested in one apartment with 50 bags of heroin. In another apartment, the police arrested one man and one woman with unspecified number of bags of heroin. Law enforcement officers reportedly found about 300 bags of heroin in another apartment. The drugs, however, have no "Ace of Spades" label just like the one which was found in Hoffman's apartment.

"Thor is back in another perfectly adequate Marvel movie," the narrator says. Calling it the film that will tide fans over until "Avengers: Age of Ultron", the narrator adds that "Thor 2" is "another post-'Avengers' movie full of references to 'The Avengers' but no actual Avengers.' "

'Little House on the Prairie' Star Richard Bull Dies at 89

Actor Richard Bull, who played shop owner Nels Oleson on "Little House on the Prairie" between 1974 and 1983, has passed away. He was 89. According to the Associated Press, Bull died on Monday, February 3 at a hospital in Woodland Hills, Calif. His wife Barbara Collentine Bull said that the actor died from complications of pneumonia.

Melissa Gilbert, who co-starred with the late actor on the TV series, took to Twitter to pay tribute after learning of the sad news. "Goodbye Richard working with you was such a joy but nearly as joyful as being your friend," Gilbert tweeted on Tuesday.

A trial date has been set for Justin Bieber following his arrest in Miami Beach in late January. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 19-year-old pop star is scheduled to see a Miami-Dade County judge on March 3. Bieber was charged with driving under influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license during the January 23 arrest.

How George Clooney made a star-studded movie with a $70 million budget? The actor/director reveals in an interview with Variety that he was able to convince the likes of Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray and Jean Dujardin to take a pay cut for "The Monuments Men".

"If you pay everybody a full boatload, it's a $150 million film," he says. "You just can't do it. Everybody worked for super cheap, like crazy cheap." He goes on dishing that the movie's actors were paid a 10th or a 15th of their going rate, but they will get benefits if the movie makes money, which was the case with the "Ocean's Eleven" franchise.

Philip Seymour Hoffman's Family Arranging Private Funeral

The family of Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was found dead in his apartment on Sunday, February 2 due to apparent drug overdose, is arranging a funeral service which date is not revealed. According to a statement released by his representative Karen Samfilippo on Tuesday, February 4, the funeral service will be attended by "the family and close friends."

"There will be a private funeral service held in N.Y. for the family and close friends of Philip Seymour Hoffman," the statement read. "Plans are also underway for a memorial service later in the month also to be held in N.Y. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Phil's name to two charities that were very close to his heart: The DreamYard Project and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. The family wishes to thank everyone for their continued support and good wishes."

Paul Walker Leaves 25 Million Dollars for Daughter Meadow

Paul Walker's estate is reportedly worth $25 million and he left it all for his only child. The "Fast and Furious" star died at the age of 40 last November in a car crash, handing out the legacy to his 15-year-old daughter Meadow.

A copy of the will was obtained by TMZ. Paul Walker III, the late actor's father acted as the executor, filing the will with the court, and petitioned to have his wife Cheryl as the minor's legal guardian. Walker senior also wants Cheryl to be the custodian of the $25 million.
