Report: Justin Bieber Uses Drugs With Alarming Regularity

A new report emerged that Justin Bieber has been abusing drugs and has been encouraged by people close to him to enter rehab. The "As Long as You Love Me" singer reportedly used drugs, especially sizzurp, with alarming regularity.

According to TMZ's sources, Bieber has been consuming a mix of codeine, promethazine, Sprite and a Jolly Rancher. The mixture is referred to as "lean" by Bieber and his crew but it's a very dangerous narcotic that can trigger seizures and even death.

Madonna Responds to Criticism Against Her N-Word Caption

Madonna finds herself in the middle of another controversy over an Instagram photo. The pop singer used the N-word in the caption of a photo featuring her son Rocco doing boxing.

"No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disn*gga," Madonna wrote. Some of her followers slammed the singer, with one writing, "MADONNA U NEED TO TAKE UR arthritis medicine instead of trying to be hip on the internet."

Playboy Sues Harper's Bazaar Publisher for Copyright Infringement

Playboy Magazine is not happy that its Kate Moss spread is made available online on another website and is blaming Harper's Bazaar publisher Hearst Communications for sharing the link. Attorneys representing the adult magazine filed a lawsuit against Hearst for copyright infringement.

On its website Harper's posted a photo of clothed Moss and a link to Entertainment.ie that displayed nine of the twelve photos of Moss in various state of undress. "See Kate Moss' Full Fab Playboy Spread," the hyperlink on Harper's website read. They were shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for Playboy's 60th anniversary issue which is still on newsstands.

FOX Orders Steven Spielberg's Comedic Soap

FOX adds comedic soap "Red Band Society" to its list of potential new series. The network has given a go to the project from executive producers Steven Spielberg, Margaret Nagle ("Boardwalk Empire"), Justin Falvey ("Under the Dome"), Darryl Frank ("Under the Dome") and Sergio Aguero with a series prototype and additional backup scripts order.

To feature dark humor, the show follows a group of teenagers living as patients in the children's wing of a hospital who become unlikely friends and a surrogate family. It's based on the acclaimed Spanish series "Polseres Vermelles".

Beyonce Crops Kelly Rowland Out of Aaliyah Tribute Photo

Beyonce Knowles cut Kelly Rowland's part from a photo with Aaliyah. The "Dirty Laundry" singer took to Instagram on Thursday, January 16 to honor what would have been Aaliyah's 35th birthday. She shared a photo of her and Beyonce posing together with the late star, who passed away in 2001. "#weloveyouAaliyah #tbt," she wrote.

Beyonce also paid tribute to the late singer/actress that day. She took to Instagram to share a snap which actually was the black-and-white version of the photo uploaded by Kelly. Another difference was that Kelly had been cropped out of the pic. "God bless baby girl," Jay-Z's other half captioned the photo.

A first look at Star-Lord wearing a mask is unearthed in "Guardians of the Galaxy" new promo art which is plastered on Zak! Designs' upcoming line of drink tumblers and water bottles. The Guardians leader played by Chris Pratt in the film is holding a glowing object in one hand and clutching a melee weapon in another.

The other heroes, except for Vin Diesel's Groot who uses his ability to control trees and plants as a weapon, are fully armed as well. Zoe Saldana's Gamora is wielding a sword, Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon has his gun ready, and Dave Bautista's Drax the Destroyer is holding twin daggers in both hands.

Joe Jonas has essentially become a taxi driver. The former Disney star surprised two unsuspecting commuters in Los Angeles when he showed up behind the wheel of an Uber car after they called for the app-based ride service to take them to their destination at Pinkberry.

One of the fans, Lindsey Farwell, posted on Twitter a picture of her with the Jonas Brothers star and her co-worker Lee Mills. "Today @millsbopp and I got in an @Uber and @joejonas was our driver and we went to Pinkberry and then took a selfie," she gushed.

Robin Thicke, Kendrick Lamar and Jermaine Dupri have been enlisted to perform at ESPN's pre-Super Bowl party, The Hollywood Reporter says. The three artists will take the stage at the network's 10th annual event that will be held at the Lower Manhattan's Pier 36/Basketball City on Friday, January 31.

With the theme "New York State of Mind," the bash will commemorate the first big Super Bowl game in the city. According to a statement from ESPN, the party will also include a 40-foot red carpet, skyscrapers and starry skyline.

"New Girl" is at the center of a new copyright infringement lawsuit. Two screenwriters, Stephanie Counts and Shari Gold, filed the lawsuit in California federal court on Thursday, January 16, claiming that the FOX hit comedy series was ripped off from their work.

The plaintiffs claim the sitcom was based on their script for 2006's pilot "Square One". The proposed pilot itself was based on "Stephanie's real-life experience when she discovered her husband was having an affair, leading her to move into a three-man bachelor pad," the lawsuit says.

'Man of Steel 2' Moved Back a Year From Summer 2015 to 2016

"Man of Steel 2" will hit theaters later than initially scheduled, Warner Bros. announces. Directed by Zack Snyder, the Superman vs. Batman film was originally set to be released on July 17, 2015, but now it is moved back to May 6, 2016.

The delay is to allow the filmmakers "time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story." The studio explains that "the decision was made following the shift of the start of production to second quarter of this year."

Another Marvel TV project on ABC is shaping up. Confirming the scoop first reported by Deadline, ABC Entertainment Group president Paul Lee has said that "Reaper" creators Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas are tapped as showrunners for potential "Agent Carter" series.

Lee made the announcement at the TCA winter press tour, where he also revealed that Jaimie Alexander's Sif would make appearance on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". He gushed over the "Agent Carter" script written by "Captain America: The First Avenger" screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, "That certainly has a good chance to be on the network."

An Asgardian warrior is booked for a trip to earth. ABC entertainment head Paul Lee announced at the TCA winter press tour on Friday, January 18 that Jaimie Alexander would reprise her role as Lady Sif on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.".

The "Thor"-"S.H.I.E.L.D." crossover is planned for episode 15 of the action drama series' freshman season. Earlier the season, the show made a reference to "Thor: The Dark World" in episode 8, which aired less than two weeks after the film opened in U.S. theaters. The said outing took place in the aftermath of the events chronicled in the "Thor" sequel, but none of the movie's characters made appearance on the ABC series.

Luke Bryan Reschedules Concert After Stage Collapse

Luke Bryan's crew members were injured in a stage collapse after a show on The Ohio State University campus Thursday, January 16. Four stagehands suffered minor injuries while dismantling the set after a forklift struck the back of the stage.

Bryan was fresh from performing at the Schottenstein Center in Colombus, his first of 18 stops in the singer's "That's My Kind of Night Tour". The incident, that occurred at 12:04 A.M. ET, sent the injured crew to a local hospital for minor injuries treatment, deputy chief of police at the school's department of safety, Richard Morman, said.

Laura Linney Secretly Gave Birth to Her First Child

Laura Linney gave birth to her first child at 49. The "The Big C" actress never talked about the pregnancy and was never seen with a baby bump in public. She was last seen out and about seven months ago when attending the Women in Film's 2013 Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

A representative of her confirmed that her son with husband Marc Schauer was born on January 8 and is named Bennett Armistead Schauer. "They are very happy," the rep said of the new parents.
