Drake Bell Calls Justin Bieber 'Talentless' and Accuses Him of Drug Possession

Drake Bell found the chance to reignite his feud with Justin Bieber while the latter is in the middle of a police investigation. Bell slammed Bieber as "talentless" and accused him of possessing the drug found during a raid in his house.

Investigating whether Bieber is involved in the egg-throwing incident at his neighbor's house, police came to Bieber's L.A. home on Tuesday, January 14 and found ecstasy in plain view. Bieber's rapper friend Lil Za was arrested for the possession. "Hey @justinbieber how much are you paying Lil Za to take the coke wrap for ya? Be a man and take responsibility. Learn to be an ADULT!" Bell tweeted.

The 86th Academy Awards nominations were announced on Thursday, January 16 morning. "Nebraska" joins the usual suspects, "12 Years a Slave", "American Hustle" and "Gravity", in the Best Picture category which includes also "Captain Phillips", "Her", "Dallas Buyers Club", "Philomena" and "The Wolf of Wall Street".

Lead actor nominees go to Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Bruce Dern and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Meanwhile, lead actress nominees go to Amy Adams, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett.

NBC Orders Will Ferrell's 'Anchorman'-Esque Comedy

NBC has ordered three comedy pilots, including one from Will Ferrell. Executive produced by the "Megamind" star and Adam McKay, "Mission Control" is set in 1962 and in the tone of "Anchorman".

The workplace ensemble follows a strong woman who butts heads with a macho astronaut in the race to land on the moon. "How to Be a Gentleman" creator/star David Hornsby wrote and executive produces the pilot.

Kanye West's 'Yeezus' Certified Platinum

Kanye West's "Yeezus" has been certified platinum, as it has shipped over a million copies per January 8. Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) congratulates West on Twitter on Wednesday, January 15, writing, "Congratulations to @kanyewest on his 7th @RIAA #Platinum album award for 'Yeezus' - he's 7 for 7! W @DefJamRecords."

Released on June 18, the album marks West's seventh studio effort that has gone platinum. All of his previous albums, including 2004 debut set "The College Dropout" and 2011 collaborative album with Jay-Z "Watch the Throne", have also passed one million mark.

"Don't believe the s**t you read!&don't buy trash magazines! They are so gross and so negative:( they Literally make my skin crawl. #Beaboveit," she wrote on Wednesday, January 15.

Duff and her husband announced their split on Friday, January 10. In a statement to PEOPLE, her representative said, "Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation. They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time." The couple has a 22-month-old son Luca.

One photo shows Beyonce's little girl wearing a tiara which reads "Birthday Girl." The mother and daughter as well as other guests sported face paint. Another photo shows the tot having fun riding her toy car. "She is an adorable, well-adjusted and very funny baby girl," a source at the party told Us Weekly.

Conan O'Brien has responded to a paternity claim which was made by a man recently. The man, who bears striking resemblance to O'Brien, asked the comedian in a YouTube video if he was his father. The host of "CONAN" took to Twitter on Tuesday, January 14 to address the issue.

In a Twitter post, the talk show host said, "A kid in New Jersey is falsely claiming to be my illegitimate son. For the record, I have three children: Neve, Beckett, and @RonanFarrow." O'Brien's mention to Ronan Farrow was meant as a joke, referencing to his mother Mia Farrow's claim last year that the 26-year-old journalist might have been Frank Sinatra's son instead of Woody Allen's.

Now that GaGa's music is allowed in China, her new album "ARTPOP" has been approved for release in the country with no changes. The "Lincoln" director scores 47 for influence, which means 47% of U.S. population believes he is influential. According to the magazine, Winfrey's position slipped to number two because she worked more behind the scene.

Michael Jackson Insurance Lawsuit Settled

Michael Jackson's estate and Lloyd's of London have settled a lawsuit over a $17.5 million insurance policy. The two parties announced the settlement on Wednesday, January 15 in Los Angeles. The insurer previously claimed that they shouldn't have to pay the policy because they said Jackson or his camp did not reveal the singer's drug use. Jackson's estate then countersued for breach of contract.

"The estate and Lloyd's of London are glad this matter got resolved," Jackson estate's attorney Howard Weitzman said in a statement, as quoted by Los Angeles Times. Details of the settlement were not revealed.

Universal has set release dates for Illumination Entertainment's animated projects. In the wake of "Despicable Me 2" box office success, the studio announces the sequel to 2013's second-highest grossing film is due in the U.S. on June 30, 2017. Before "Despicable Me 3" comes out, a "Minions" spinoff will open in theaters July 10, 2015.

Meanwhile, a new adaptation of Dr. Seuss' classic children's book "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is slated to be released Stateside on November 17, 2017, seventeen years after Ron Howard's version came out in theaters. 'Frozen' Soundtrack Blocks Beyonce's Album From Billboard 200's No. 1 for Second Week

Katy Perry Announces Dates of 'Prismatic World Tour'

Katy Perry would kick off the tour to support her "Prism" album on June 22, the singer announced on Wednesday, January 15. The jaunt, dubbed Prismatic World Tour, will begin the North American leg in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The tour includes 46 cities, some of them that Perry will visit for the first time.
