Zach Braff weighs in on Shia LaBeouf's latest outburst in which the latter announced his plan to retire following his plagiarism scandal. The "Scrubs" star tweeted a GIF image with a mocking caption, "Stop. Don't. Come back."

Hours earlier, LaBeouf wrote, "In light of the recent attacks against my artistic integrity, I am retiring from all public life," before adding, "My love goes out to those who have supported me." He also skywrote a "#stopcreating" message following his retirement announcement.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill are working together again, but this time behind the scenes. The actors who star in Martin Scorsese's dark comedy "The Wolf of Wall Street" are teaming up with rapper Q-Tip to develop a hip hop drama series.

The scripted TV show is loosely based on the Grammy-winning artist's early days and will capture his experiences with hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest and with The Native Tongues collective that A Tribe Called Quest was a member of. The show will reflect on the stories of their friendship and how their music played a part in culture then and influenced the music of today, Deadline reports.

Harry Styles apparently needs to avoid meeting Mark Wahlberg. The star of "Transformers: Age of Extinction" said during a recent TV appearance that he wanted to punch the member of One Direction because he was jealous after learning that his 10-year-old and 4-year-old daughters were interested in the boybander.

"Now the girls have turned to One Direction, they don't care about Dad anymore. My 4-year-old's going, 'Daddy, I like Harry.' And I'm like, 'Well, I'm gonna punch Harry in the nose when I see him,' " he told host Conan O'Brien on Thursday, January 9. "I get jealous. If I see that little p**ck he's gonna get it."

Gucci Mane has released the music video for his collaboration with Young Dolph and Young Scooter, "Can't Handle Me". Directed by Cricket, the four-minute visuals mostly features Gucci spitting his bars while hanging out with his friends.

To keep things interesting, the video also shows some violent scenes from classic movies like "American Gangster" and "Boyz N the Hood". The clip wraps up with the words "Free Gucci" flashing on the screen.

Kristen Wiig and Alexander Skarsgard are set to share screen in "The Diary of a Teenage Girl". Coming from first-time writer-director Marielle Heller, the upcoming feature film is an adaptation of Phoebe Gloeckner's graphic novel of the same title.

The movie set in 1970s will follow a brutally honest teenage artist as she attempts to navigate her way through an affair with her mother's boyfriend. 21-year-old British actress Bel Powley is tapped to portray the lead role, marking her U.S. feature debut.

CNN's Jeff Zucker Denies Jay Leno Recruit Rumor

CNN isn't courting Jay Leno to join the network, says Jeff Zucker. At the Television Critics Association winter press tour, the president of CNN Worldwide denied report saying that they're going to hire the veteran late-night host when he passes the baton of NBC's "Tonight Show" to Jimmy Fallon.

Saying that late-night programming's "not a priority" at this time, he admitted though, "Obviously, I have a long relationship with Jay, I think he's a terrific talent." Zucker also threw cold water on rumor suggesting that they're trying to get Ann Curry signing up, saying that the former "Today" anchor was not available and still under contract with NBC.

Kylie Minogue has announced that her new single will be called "Into the Blue" and it will be released on March 16. The track that has been described as "euphoric return to the dancefloor" was written by Kelly Sheehan, who has previously worked with Nicki Minaj and Beyonce Knowles.

"2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and I'm so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music," Minogue said in a statement. " 'Into The Blue' is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I've been feeling - I can't wait for it to be out there."

According to Variety, the "Jack Reacher" star and "The Host (2013)" hunk will be testing for the role of John's father on Monday. The other candidates expected to join for the test are Thomas Cocquerel ("Anzac Girls"), Wilson Bethel ("Hart of Dixie") and Sam Reid ("The Railway Man").

According to TMZ, Jay asked the lucky fan named Monique to join him onstage after he saw her holding a sign that read, "When I was 16 I rapped on this stage with you. I'm 19 now and I'm ready." Monique previously rapped for the hip-hop mogul when he was on his "Blueprint 3" tour.

Amanda Bynes apparently will not go to jail following her bong-throwing incident which took place last summer. Bynes escaped the prosecution after she made a deal in which the case will be dismissed if she continues counseling for the next six months.

On Friday, January 10, Bynes agreed to attend the counseling sessions which would take place twice a week. The "Easy A" star will also need to avoid any legal trouble for the next six months. "I understand that after a period of six months has expired, if I have complied with the conditions set forth below the charges will be dismissed," read an affidavit dated December 19, as quoted by New York Daily News.

A copy of Ben Stiller's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" illegally popped up online with a watermark bearing the name of Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres. A representative for 20th Century Fox, which distributed the dramedy, said the watermark appeared genuine.

It was initially reported that the copy which was created on November 23, 2013 might be an Oscar screener, but that didn't seem to be the case as Fox said they did create a copy for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" before Stiller's December 4 appearance on her show.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" celebrates a milestone. The sequel to 2012's "The Hunger Games" beats "Iron Man 3" to become the top earner at domestic box office. The Jennifer Lawrence starrer has collected $409.4 million, while the Robert Downey Jr.-led flick garnered $409 million.

The Francis Lawrence-directed pic marks the first time a film headlined by a woman finished first in the domestic year-end list, since "The Exorcist" in 1973 although Linda Blair's and Ellen Burstyn's roles in the vintage film were on par with the priest characters portrayed by actors Max von Sydow and Jason Miller.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is reportedly joining headliner Bruno Mars for the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show on February 2 in New Jersey. A source told the Los Angeles Times that Mars would make the official announcement during a game between New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, January 11.

Mars' spokeswoman has declined to confirm the report. However, Red Hot Chili Peppers will be in the tri-state area as they're already scheduled to headline the WFAN-sponsored "Big Hello to Brooklyn" bash on Saturday night, February 1 at the Barclays Center.

The project is developed by The Weinstein Company, which distributed "The Butler" and "Fruitvale". Along with "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom", both movies help the company dominate the nominations at 2014 NAACP Awards with 17 nods.
