Video: Paul McCartney Plays a Free Concert on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Sir Paul McCartney shut down Hollywood Boulevard on Monday night, September 23, as he performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". The 71-year-old singer performed his songs with his former bands, The Beatles and Wings, as well as his own songs.

McCartney kicked off his show with The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour". He continued with other songs in his setlist, which included "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", "Junior's Farm', "Band on the Run" and "Jet".

Kanye West Responds to Paparazzo Assault Lawsuit

After being sued last month by paparazzo Daniel Ramos over their July 19 altercation outside the Los Angeles International Airport, G.O.O.D. Music mogul Kanye West finally responds to the battery and attempted theft charges filed against him. The Grammy Award-winning rap star said through his lawyer in court documents filed on Friday, September 20 that he should not be made to pay Ramos anything since he just simply acted in self-defense after being provoked by the photographer.

West's attorney stated that the plaintiff, Ramos, should not be paid for the damages he is claiming since he hasn't been "damaged in any amount whatsoever." Moreover, West argues that when he punched Ramos and threw off his camera, he was only reacting after the paparazzo "willfully and wrongfully caused [West] to reasonably believe his safety was in danger," provoked by Ramos' "unlawful and wrongful conduct."

Jim Carrey Releases Children's Book 'How Roland Rolls'

Jim Carrey is going to release an inspirational children's book along with a four-song EP on September 24. The 64-page children's book is called "How Roland Rolls". According to the "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" actor, the book tells the story of a wave named Roland, who is afraid that he will die when he hits the beach.

"But when he gets deep, he's struck by the notion that he's not just a wave - he's the whole big, wide ocean! It shows humanity's interconnectedness through the metaphor of a wave in the ocean," the actor says in a statement.

'Dexter' Sets Ratings Record for Showtime With Series Finale

"Dexter" wrapped up the serial killer's story arc with a bang. The series finale aired on Sunday, September 22 drew 2.8 million viewers at its premiere telecast, outperforming the show's season 7 finale which attracted 2.75 million viewers.

When repeat airings are counted, the farewell episode posted a total of 3.3 million viewers. It's up from the 3.2 million which tuned in to the season 8 premiere in June. The last episode of the drama series, thus, becomes the most-watched original episode ever in Showtime's history.

After being booted out of her alcohol addiction treatment program in a Florida rehab center last July, "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham seems to be getting her bearings back enough to get into a business venture with sex toy company Topco Sales. The 22-year-old former reality TV star is teaming up with Topco Sales to launch her sex toy line and even visited their headquarters to make molds that will produce exact replicas of her private parts to be sold along with other toys and novelty items under her own line.

"I think I'm taking sex symbol to a whole new level today. So now, I'm gonna have a whole like sex line. People are gonna jack off to me. This is crazy," said Abraham in a video of her walking around Topco's warehouse. She has been promoting her forthcoming line on Twitter, which will hit stores January 2014.

Rapper Trina Is Recovering After Collapsing at Airport

Rapper Trina was rushed to hospital on early Monday, September 23 after she passed out in a Florida airport. Trina, who was feeling better after the incident, took to Instagram to inform her fans that she was "ok" and about to leave the hospital.

"Thanks for your concern and prayers! I'm ok, just ready to leave this place I hate needles," she wrote. A photo which she uploaded shows her hand hooked up to an IV.

A&E shares first footage from its "Bonnie & Clyde" miniseries. Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger, as the partners in crime, get lovey dovey early on the clip but the latter scenes are action packed as the robber duo raids a bank. Gunfire erupts when police try to capture them which ends with a bloody fate for the couple.

The show is based on the true story of bank robbing couple Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. "Modern Family" actress Sarah Hyland joins the cast as Blanche Barrow, the wife of Clyde's brother Buck and the famed outlaw's partner in crime in the Barrow Gang. Lane Garrison will portray Buck.

Singer M.I.A. has released a video statement following a $1.5 million lawsuit which was launched against her by National Football League. The singer, who is being sued for breach of contract because of middle finger gesture at the 2012 Super Bowl, defended herself in the 2-minute video, saying that the lawsuit is "ridiculous."

"The NFL thing is completely ridiculous. It's been making me laugh for a while but now it's so boring I don't even laugh anymore," she says in the video, which was released on September 23. In the video, the 38-year-old singer pointed out at cheerleaders at the event who posed provocatively.

After a year of struggling to get hold of the ring she bought last year for five times its estimated value, country-pop-rock superstar Kelly Clarkson is finally losing the gold and turquoise ring once owned by the late, great novelist Jane Austen. The "American Idol" season one champion is conceding defeat to the Jane Austen's House Museum which has successfully raised the £150,000 needed to buy back the ring and keep it in the U.K.

Clarkson bought the ring at an auction after it had remained with the Austen family for some 200 years. After the British culture ministry declared the said ring was of historical value and could not leave the country, the 31-year-old singer was prevented from taking the jewelry outside the U.K. by way of a temporary export ban imposed on the item.

The National Writes a 'Dark' Song for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'

The National revealed that they made a contribution to the soundtrack of upcoming movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire". NME reported that the band had recorded a song for the film, which is the second installment of "The Hunger Games" trilogy.

The track was originally titled "Dying Is Easy". However, the band had to retitle it after the film's producers thought the title was "too dark." "The song almost didn't make it because it was too dark for 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack, which I thought was sort of funny because It's about killing kids, I don't know how a song can be darker than that?" The National's frontman, Matt Berninger, said.

She may be one of the world's most powerful women but in an interview with Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson recently, talk show host Oprah Winfrey showed that like everyone else, she's still very much human. The 59-year-old media personality revealed that she almost had a nervous breakdown last year, in the midst of struggling to save her failing OWN TV network while filming "Lee Daniels' The Butler", a role which she could not turn down despite the offer's unbelievably bad timing.

"It was just sort of speeding and a kind of numbness and going from one thing to the next thing to the next thing," Winfrey described the pace she was going at, thinking "if I don't calm down I'm going be in serious trouble." She realized during an October 2012 interview that she was going through the same thing as "Kony 2012" director Jason Rusell, who had a public meltdown in March 2012, stripping naked and stopping traffic in San Diego, California.

Showtime's 'Penny Dreadful' Teases the Monsters in First Promo

Showtime has unleashed the first teaser for its upcoming series "Penny Dreadful", offering glimpses at the show's monsters. The video doesn't give a look at the full figure of the characters as the scenes feature zoom-in shots of a fury creature and a Frankenstein monster which bears stitches on its body. Meanwhile, Eva Green says in a voiceover, "I believe in curses. I believe in demons. I believe in monsters. Do you?"

Dubbed a psycho-sexual horror, the new show will find characters such as Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray and characters from "Dracula" in Victorian London, weaving together classic horror origin stories as the characters grapple with their monstrous alienation. Showtime president David Nevins promised, "The monsters aren't going to look like the traditional pictures in your mind you have from old movies of Dracula or Frankenstein."

Han Solo may return to "Star Wars Episode 7" with his trusty tall hairy companion. A casting call put out by "Walt Disney Pictures/LucasFilm/Bad Robot" for an "Untitled Studio Feature" that will start production in "early 2014" seems to seek an actor fit to play the Wookie.

The desired physique is specifically tall. "Male, 7 ft to 7.3 ft tall with a slim/thin build and upright posture," reads the announcement obtained by Den of Geek. "Not too worked out or too 'thick set' especially in the shoulders. Broad facial features would be a bonus."

Russian-German electronic music producer and DJ Zedd premieres a music video of "Stay the Night", his electro-pop collaboration with Paramore's lead vocalist Hayley Williams. A representative for Hamm has released a statement concerning the actor's health, calling the surgery a "routine outpatient procedure." The actor is "having a single polyp removed from his throat," the rep says, as quoted by Radar Online.

Previous reports suggested that Hamm learned of the polyp after he coughed up blood, but a source tells Gossip Cop that it was not true. "He has NEVER coughed up blood. He only has one (singular) polyp, and it is NOT cancerous at all," the source says. Hamm reportedly told his "Mad Men" co-star January Jones about the surgery at an Emmy Awards after-party in Los Angeles on Sunday night, September 22.

R&B all-girls group TLC will celebrate their 20th anniversary in music industry with their new greatest hits album, "20". The group's surviving members, Tionne Watkins a.k.a. T-Boz and Rozonda Thomas a.k.a. Chilli, have just shared more details about the new record which will be dropped on October 15.

The 14-track set will feature TLC's best hits, including "No Scrubs", "Waterfalls", "Unpretty" and "Creep", as well as a new song called "Meant to Be". Written by Ne-Yo, the new song serves as the soundtrack to "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story", VH1's biopic that follows the group's rise and fall.
