Wyclef Jean Denies Collaborating With Amanda Bynes

Wyclef Jean shot down rumor that he teamed up with Amanda Bynes on her album. A representative for Jean told TMZ that the rapper had no plan to work with the troubled actres. The rep also said that the former member of The Fugees had never even spoken to Bynes.

The collaboration rumor surfaced after Dan Herman, CEO of Chinga Chang Records that offered Bynes a record deal, revealed his plan that he, Bynes and Jean would have a meeting to discuss the project earlier this week. "I think it would be perfect. Linking the two of them will be something major," Herman said at that time.

The 23-year-old member of Jonas Brothers took home an award as his Instagram page won the voters' hearts. "I don't think anyone has ever won an award for being on Instagram before, so it's cool to be the first one," Joe said of the achievement.

At the event, Jack defeated the likes of Beck, Daft Punk, Neil Young and Shone for the Analog Genius Award. Meanwhile, Kitty was declared the Best Web-Born Artist, and the award for the Best Music App went to CrowdSYNC. Other winners included Linkin Park, Yoko Ono and Tokio Hotel.

UNHCR special envoy Angelina Jolie released a statement to honor World Refugee Day on June 20. The actress and mother of six, once again, urged people and world leaders to find solution to end conflicts which caused the death of 93,000 people and created 1.6 million refugees.

In a statement released by UNHCR, Jolie shared her story of meeting refugees who seek for safety in other country. "Refugees are often forgotten, and frequently misunderstood. They are regarded as a burden, as helpless individuals, or as people who wish to move to someone else's country. That is not who they are," the "Salt" actress said, adding that those people lost their homes and faced death of family members.

"The X Factor" champion Little Mix is currently working on their new album. Members Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock confirmed they were focusing on tracks for their next record.

A judge has decided that Michael Madsen needs professional help to fix his drinking problem. The 55-year-old actor, who is known for his movie "Reservoir Dogs", showed up in court in Van Nuys on Thursday, June 20. In the court meeting, Madsen was ordered to enroll in an alcohol treatment facility for at least 30 days.

The "Kill Bill" actor was charged with two counts of driving under the influence last year after being arrested in Malibu. At that time, a test reportedly showed that alcohol in his blood was more than twice of legal limit. He made a plea deal in the case, in which he would attend Alcoholics Anonymous recovery meetings. However, he failed to follow through, which led the judge to revoke his probation.

Floods Force 'Hell on Wheels' to Stop Production in Canada

Nothing can't fight the weather. Heavy rains have forced "Hell on Wheels" to stop its production in the middle of shooting the third season's sixth episode as the set in Calgary, Canada, is in danger of being damaged by floods.

The Bow and Highwood rivers, not far from the filming location, have breached their banks. As a precaution, the producers decided on Thursday, June 19 to evacuate the set, with the crew and equipment moved to higher ground, Deadline reports.

The site reports that the production uses a home at 2178 Harcourt Boulevard, and converts it into "a nursing home." The site also adds that the Cap, played by none-other-than Chris Evans, "is visiting [the home] with his fellow World War II veterans."

Baseball Legend Joe Torre's daughter, Cristina Torre, miraculously caught a 1-year-old baby boy who dangled from fire escape and saved his life. Cristina was at a Brooklyn cafe on Wednesday, June 19, when a man ran to a cupcake shop where she was having coffee. The man asked people to call 911 because he saw a baby straddling on fire escape.

While calling the emergency line, 44-year-old Cristina placed herself below the baby's position. "All of a sudden it slipped, and it was dangling and holding on with its hands," before finally lost his grip, she told NBC 4 New York. "I was still talking to 911 and I just put out my arms, and literally, it was effortless. It was meant to be. He landed in my arms," she recalled the incident.

Meek Mill's Protege, Lil Snupe, Dies From Gunshot Wounds

Meek Mill's protege, rapper Lil Snupe, was found dead with two gunshot wounds at the torso on Thursday, June 20. Lil Snupe, whose real name is Addarren Ross, was only 18. According to a statement from Louisiana's Winnfield City Police Department to MTV News, the police responded to reports of a shooting at the Maplewood Apartments at 1901 South Jones Street at 4:07 A.M. Winn Parish Coroner Investigators later pronounced Ross dead at the scene.

The police revealed that they "are currently in search of a person of interest, who is unnamed at this time." Lt. Charles M. Curry told NBC33 that Ross knew the alleged killer. "We're working diligently to investigate this case and track down the suspect," he said. "A motive has not been established at this time," the police department added to MTV News.

Justin Bieber's unexpected appearance thrilled the female fans at Cody Simpson's concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Friday night, June 14. When Simpson was performing his track, "Pretty Brown Eyes", Bieber suddenly showed up on the stage to dance and sing together.

Done with his surprise, Bieber went backstage with the 16-year-old Australian heartthrob. "So what's up guys? I'm with my homie Cody Simpson. I used to call him my little bro but now he's kind of become my big bro because he's bigger than me, man," Bieber said in front of the camera.

'Cinderella' Finds Her Fairy Godmother in Helena Bonham Carter

Helena Bonham Carter lands a role as a fairy godmother of "Cinderella", The Hollywood Reporter learns. In the live-action movie directed by Kenneth Branagh, the character will get more screen time than in Disney's 1950 animated film. She will appear as an old beggar who watches over Cinderella before revealing her true identity to the orphaned girl.

The new take on the classic fairytale will be headlined by Lily James, known for starring as Lady Rose McClare in "Downton Abbey". Cate Blanchett comes aboard to play the wicked stepmother, with Sophie McShera and Holliday Granger portraying the stepsisters. "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden nabs the prince role.

Stephen Colbert had praised his mother several times on his show and he once again showed his admiration to her on his first day back on "The Colbert Report" after a week hiatus following her death. The comedian dedicated three minutes of the Wednesday, June 19 episode to share a story of his mother's childhood, her dedication to her family and her faith in God.

"Now if you watch this show, and you like this show, it's because everybody who works here and I'm lucky to be one of them," Colbert opened the show, holding back tears while delivering the moving tribute. "But when you watch the show, if you also like me, that's because of my mom. So before we start the show again, I'd like to tell you a little bit about her."

Robert Downey Jr. Officially Returns to 'Avengers' Sequels as Iron Man

Joss Whedon finally gets what he wants. Through its official website, Marvel has just announced that Robert Downey Jr. has agreed to suit up again as fan-favorite hero Iron Man a.k.a. billionaire Tony Stark in "The Avengers 2", which will be ready for a May 1, 2015 release, as well as its follow-up, "The Avengers 3".

"Avengers 2" will still feature "favorites from the first 'Avengers' film," though Tom Hiddleston's character Loki won't appear in it as previously revealed by Whedon. Even so, the studio promises that the second film will be no less interesting as the first one since "new Marvel characters never before seen on the big screen" will be introduced here.
