Authorities Investigate Nadya Suleman for Alleged Welfare Fraud

Nadya Suleman is being investigated for possible welfare fraud. Last week, an anonymous person made a report to the Los Angeles County Department of Welfare Fraud Prevention and Investigation, saying that the Octomom had been collecting welfare benefits such as food stamps.

"I can confirm that the authorities have been in contact with us concerning her income and we have been cooperating," a source told E! News. Based on California law, people may get government's assistance if their annual income is less than $119,000. Nadya, however, reportedly makes $200,000 a year from her public appearance and adult video. If the allegation proves to be true, Nadya could face more than 3 years in prison.

Jay Leno Takes Another Jab at NBC

Jay Leno took a shot at NBC's low ratings again. After calling the executives "snakes" a couple days before, the host of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" called the network "extinct" during his opening monologue on the show that aired on Wednesday, March 20.

"According to several reports, scientists say they are getting closer and closer to being able to do 'Jurassic Park'-style cloning of extinct species," Leno told his audience. "Imagine that. Things that were once thought to be extinct could be brought back from the dead. So there's hope for NBC. It could turn around."

Garden Snail Dreams to Become Racer in 'Turbo' Trailer

The first full trailer for Dreamwork Animation's "Turbo" has landed online. The video focuses on a garden snail who dreams of leaving his slow-paced life and becoming the greatest racer in the world. More scenes from the film are shared in a newly-released international trailer.

Ryan Reynolds voices Turbo, the slow moving snail who admires 5-time Indianapolis 500 champ, Guy Gagne. His obsession with speed has made him an outsider in the slow snail community and even embarrassed his cautious older brother Chet, voiced by Paul Giamatti.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Sir Paul McCartney's massive 2013 "Out There!" world tour will take him to concert halls and arenas he has never performed. This was revealed by the former Beatle when he announced the first date of his live performances this year which will take him to the nation of Poland.

The planned set list will of course comprise of songs from his illustrious career in music, including hits from his band stints with The Beatles, one of the greatest acts of all-time, and Wings, the band he formed with his first wife Linda. The hit-studded set will be played by the 70-year-old singer-songwriter when he kicks off his tour on June 22 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.

There are two pictures on Miley's Twitter post. The picture on the left side shows her in unicorn onezie with her face veiled by the hood, while the picture on the right side shows her posing adorably with her left hand holding the hood so that her face is shown.

Chris O'Dowd Has Cameo Role in 'Thor: The Dark World'

Chris O'Dowd will make a cameo appearance in "Thor: The Dark World". In an interview with Indiewire, he admitted that he had filmed one scene in Alan Taylor's upcoming film just for fun. "I think I'll do more dramatic stuff and I think I have some stuff coming out that's a bit more dramatic," the 33-year-old actor said in the interview.

"I don't know if I'd do an action movie because I don't know if I could keep a straight face honestly," O'Dowd continued. "I love watching them but I can't imagine me doing one. Actually, you know what I've done, just for fun."

FOX Plans 'Shogun' Remake and O.J. Simpson Trial Drama

FOX announced on Wednesday, March 20 that it had started development on two long-form projects included in the network's "event-series" productions. After Shyamalan's "Wayward Pines" and McKenna's "Blood Brothers", the network revealed that "Shogun" and "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson" would be its next most-anticipated projects.

Based on James Clavell's novel of the same name, "Shogun" follows the story of English adventurer John Blackthorne who rises to be samurai in Japan and falls in love with Japanese leader Toranaga's wife Lady Moriko. "The Social Network" producer Michael De Luca and "Elizabeth I" writer Nigel William will serve as the producers of the series. Before FOX, the novel was previously adapted by NBC as an Emmy-winning 1980 miniseries featuring Richard Chamberlain.

'Pacific Rim' New Images Show Destruction After Kaijo Attacks

Guillermo del Toro's upcoming science-fiction film "Pacific Rim" releases two new teaser photos. Both display the aftermath of the attacks done by invading giant monsters which have mysteriously risen from the sea. One shows a damaged area in town and the other sees a sea shore fenced with what look like concrete bars.

The image showing the residential place is captioned with, "We will rebuild the city around its bones." The other featuring a crew of white-dressed, masked men cleaning up the beach is attached to a note that reads, "Kaiju Blue clean-up detail: an endless, thankless task."

Lifetime Prohibited From Airing Chris Porco TV Movie

Lifetime is banned from airing "Romeo Killer: The Christopher Porco Story", a telepic about a man who murdered his dad and maimed his mom with an ax, this weekend. On Tuesday, March 19, Clinton County Supreme Court Judge Robert J. Muller ordered the cable network to stop promoting the TV movie in response to a motion filed six weeks ago by Porco.

Porco, who is serving 50 years to life, filed for the injunction, claiming that the movie "substantially fictionalized account ... about plaintiff and the events that led to his incarceration" and uses his name for "purposes of trade," in violation of New York Civil Rights Law section 51. Muller found that "defendant appears to concede that the movie is fictionalized" and eventually issued the restraining order.

'Teen Mom' Star Farrah Abraham Busted for DUI

Farrah Abraham was arrested for driving unsafely. The "Teen Mom" star, who wrote an autobiography "My Teenage Dream Ended", was taken into custody earlier this week while driving in the wee hours in Nebraska.

The mother of one was initially pulled over for making a wide turn and almost hitting a police cruiser, TMZ report. She failed a field sobriety test, blowing a .147 on a breathalyzer which was nearly twice the legal limit in the Cornhusker State.

The Diplo-produced anti-violence anthem features Canadian rapper Drake who takes over the rapping task on this track from Snoop, who does more singing on this one. His own daughter Cori B. also helps out in the single by singing the backing vocals in the recording. The Police's drummer Stewart Copeland plays the percussions on the laid-back, electro-reggae tune co-produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, with additional production by Dre Skull.

Pot Found on Rihanna's Tour Bus While Stopped at Canadian Border

Ten of Rihanna's tour buses were stopped and searched for drugs while crossing the U.S. border with Canada on Wednesday, March 20. TMZ reported that authorities initiated a secondary search on the buses after they smelled pot from one of the buses. Bringing drug-sniffing dogs on board, authorities found a "small amount" of the drug.

The pot belonged to an unidentified passenger who was later cited with a civil penalty. Other than the pot, no other illegal substances were found. According to Customs and Border Protection, Rihanna, who had played in Toronto, Canada on Monday and Tuesday, was not on any of the buses.

Speculation about Jimmy Fallon taking over "Tonight Show" is growing wilder with latest report saying that the NBC late-night show will move from Burbank, Calif. back to New York. The show started in 1954 in New York with Steve Allen as host.

While NBC remains mum on the rumored transition, it confirms that it is indeed building a new studio for Fallon in New York, where he hosts his "Late Night" show. The "Saturday Night Live" alum currently occupies the studio in 30 Rock where Johnny Carson once hosted "Tonight Show" before it moved to Los Angeles in 1972.
