Ian McKellen to Officiate Patrick Stewart's Wedding

Ian McKellen is going to lend a helping hand at Patrick Stewart's wedding later this year. Sir McKellen confirmed on "The Jonathan Ross Show" that he would officiate his good buddy's nuptials with 35-year-old jazz singer fiancee Sunny Ozell.

"I'm going to marry Patrick," McKellen joked on the TV show to a huge laughter from audience when the topic of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" came up. The movie veteran then clarified, "How else do you put that? Iím going to officiate at his wedding."

30 Seconds to Mars Reveals Details of New Album

Alternative rock band 30 Seconds to Mars has announced that their upcoming fourth album entitled "Love Lust Faith + Dreams" is set to be released in two months, on May 20. The Jared Leto-fronted band also revealed the album's complete track list as well as its cover artwork, all in a day before the new single "Up In the Air" off the said album, is officially released March 19.

"This is more than an evolution, it's a brand new beginning. Creatively, we've gone to an entirely new place, which is exciting, unexpected, and incredibly inspiring," said Leto, who co-produced the album along with Steve Lillywhite. "This album is more of who we are than we have ever been before," he described the project.

Gossip's Beth Ditto Arrested After Kicking Man in the Crotch

Gossip's lead singer Beth Ditto was arrested in her hometown of Portland on Saturday, March 16 at 01:42 A.M. for disorderly conduct. The trouble began Friday night at Bungalo Bar in Portland, where a bartender reportedly cut her off from more drinks for being too drunk.

"By 01:30 A.M. Beth was completely blackout drunk challenging people to fights," said a witness. The witness claimed the 32-year-old rocker was out of the club after she kicked the bartender. "The bartender called the police because she kicked him in balls," the witness added.

Hugh Jackman to Star in Paramount's Drama 'Six Years'

Hugh Jackman is attached to play the lead role in "Six Years", a movie based Harlan Coben's upcoming novel. The casting news is the first one that links Jackman to a main role since he got an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in musical drama "Les Miserables".

The movie will follow Jake Fisher who spends six years of hiding a broken heart by throwing himself into his career as a college professor after watching the love of his life marry another man, or so he thought. When six years haven't come close to extinguishing his feelings, he forces himself to attend his love rival's funeral in hopes to catch a glimpse of his former lover.

Dylan may also bring a nightmare for Norman as the elder Bates is seen attacking his younger brother. Perhaps due to the psychological effect of the abuse, Norman is seen fainting in the class room.

Sony Pictures Classics has debuted a domestic trailer for "Love Is All You Need". The new trailer opens with Philip describing himself as a man who has been chosen to be alone. In another scene, Ida has just found out that her husband is cheating on her.

The two then meet by an accident and they soon learn that they have something in common. "Your daughter's getting married in Italy? My son's getting married in Italy," Philip says. Later, they come to Italy together and discover that it is her daughter who's getting married to his son.

Good news is coming from Lil Wayne. The rapper has left Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles where he was hospitalized in the last few days. TMZ first broke the news before Cash Money CEO Birdman confirmed it.

Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, announced to his Twitter followers on Monday night, March 18, "Thanks to Cedar Sinai for everything!! @LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home."

Eminem to Headline Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival With Nine Inch Nails

Grammy Award-winning rapper Eminem will headline this year's Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium alongside rock band Nine Inch Nails. His performance in the 2013 festival will mark the 40-year-old artist's return to the Belgian music fest following his 2011 fatal stage collapse on the first day that eventually led to that year's event cancellation.

In addition to Eminem and Trent Reznor's band, other artists slated to headline the August 15-17, Kiewit, Belgium musical extravaganza are Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse, The Prodigy and The xx. Grammy Awards 2013 Best New Artist Fun., Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, Alabama Shakes and "Harlem Shake" DJ Baauer are also lined up to join the festival.

Lindsay Lohan Gets 90 Days in Rehab, Avoids Jail

Lindsay Lohan avoided jail after she accepted a plea deal on Monday, March 18 to misdemeanor charges related to a June 2012 car crash. The deal includes 90 days in a locked rehabilitation facility. Judge James Dabney stressed out, "She is not allowed to leave the facility at all."

Lohan must also spend 18 months in therapy, serve 30 days of community service and pay unspecified fine as part of the agreement. "A suggestion- don't drive," judge Dabney told the 26-year-old starlet after he handed down her sentence. "Please take this seriously."

Tom Cruise could star in the movie version of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." that follows the spy adventures of American agent Napoleon Solo and Soviet agent Illya Kuryakin during the Cold War. The "Top Gun" actor is reportedly in early talks to portray one of the male leads in a long-gestating remake of the classic 1960s TV series.

Before Cruise's name was mentioned, George Clooney was approached by Steven Soderbergh's team to take on the role. When the "Ocean's Eleven" actor turned it down, they considered to cast such hunks as Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling, Joel Kinnaman and Michael Fassbender.

Director David Goyer to Remake 'Count of Monte Cristo'

David S. Goyer is tapped to modernize the famous Alexandre Dumas story, "The Count of Monte Cristo", in a remake project developed by Constantin Films. The comic book writer will serve as a director with "Resident Evil" producer Jeremy Bolt producing the movie.

Goyer is no stranger to remaking fabled stories. He once penned the story of "The Dark Knight Rises" with Christopher Nolan. He's also credited for writing a screenplay for "Man of Steel", the new take on another DC Comics' superhero Superman co-produced by Nolan as well.

The Spinners' Singer Bobby Smith Dies at 76

Bobby Smith, the former lead singer of The Spinners, died in Orlando on Saturday morning, March 16, at the age of 76. The manager of the group said in a statement on Monday, March 18 that Smith was diagnosed with lung cancer in November 2012 and passed away after suffering complications from pneumonia and influenza.

Jessie Peck, the group's current member, said that funeral details hadn't been set yet, but services were expected to take place on March 18 in Detroit. Peck remembered his senior, "Like something out of a movie, Bobby shoots right out onstage and - showman that he is - grabs a mic and sings right on cue. The audience went bananas."

FOX has snatched exclusive rights to air Rihanna's concert documentary "Rihanna 777" on Monday, May 6. The film "provides an inside look at the singer's ambitious and often turbulent tour, from the sound of popping champagne corks on the plane to the backstage chaos to the singer's special worldwide appearances," the network says in a statement.

In the one hour special, fans will witness behind-the-scenes of Rihanna's 2012 "777" World Tour, the promotional tour for her seventh album "Unapologetic". The film will highlight the Barbadian singer's performances in seven cities in seven days, including Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and New York. Paramount and MGM have officially announced that "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" sequel is in the works. The two companies greenlight the follow-up to the Tommy Wirkola-directed film after the first film crossed $200 million at the global box office.

A reimagining of the classic fairytale with a twist, the January 24 release starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton was a flop in North America box office as it opened at $19.6 million and grossed $54 million so far on a reported $50 million budget. The action comedy movie, however, was well-received overseas, raking in more than $150 million for a worldwide total of $205 million.

Joel Silver Plans to Reboot 'Escape From New York' as Trilogy

A new take on 1981's science-fiction action movie "Escape From New York" is being planned. Deadline reports Joel Silver of Silver Pictures has teamed up with Studio Canal, which has acquired the rights to the film from New Line Cinema, to create a new franchise based on the classic story.

'The Bible' Producers on Satan's Likeness to Obama: People Make 'False Connection'

After History Channel aired the third part of miniseries "The Bible", there was chatter online about the likeness of Satan and U.S. President Barack Obama. Among those who noticed the resemblance was TV host Glenn Beck, who tweeted, "Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?"

Responding to the controversy, producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey quickly released a statement to clarify that any resemblance between the Devil character and the President was coincidental. "This is utter nonsense. The actor who played Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani, is a highly acclaimed Moroccan actor. He has previously played parts in several Biblical epics - including Satanic characters long before Barack Obama was elected as our President," they explained.
