HBO Debuts First Teaser of Liberace Biopic 'Behind the Candelabra'

Hyping up the upcoming debut of "Behind the Candelabra", HBO releases the first teaser for the TV movie. The promo video has no scenes from the Liberace biopic, but features footage of piano keys falling which is set to the tune of "Begin the Beguine".

Starring Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as Liberace's younger live-in lover Scott Thorson, the biopic is based on Thorson's 1988 memoir "Behind the Candelabra: My Life With Liberace". The story will depict the tempestuous relationship between Liberace and Thorson, from their first meeting backstage at the Las Vegas Hilton to their bitter and public break-up.

'Girl Meets World' Casts Teo Halm as Cory and Topanga's Son

Newcomer Teo Halm has landed a role on the comedy pilot "Girl Meets World", the follow-up to "Boy Meets World". Halm will play Elliot Matthews, the older brother of Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard.

The leads in "Boy Meets World", Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, were already secured to reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga in the Disney Channel project. Fishel expressed her excitement of having two on-screen children on her Twitter, tweeting, "I have an announcement to make. I have a gorgeous daughter (@rowblanchard) and a handsome son (@teohalm). @BenSavage and I love you both!!"

On March 3, the publication published an "exclusive" story of La Toya being a gold-digging diva by engaging Prince Jackson (16), Paris Jackson (15) and Blanket (10) in to the entertainment industry. It was reported that the 56-year-old TV personality quietly profited from her deceased brother's children by signing them as the only clients of her Ja-Tail Enterprises talent agency and collecting a 15 percent commission on Paris and Prince Michael's respective deals.

Michael Jordan calls BS on the claim that he fathered a secret son. The NBA legend says the paternity suit filed by Pamela Smith is a repeat of what she did years ago. He claims she filed a similar lawsuit years ago and she lost.

"Public records show that the paternity of the child was established in a prior case in this same court many years ago and that Michael Jordan is not the father," Jordan's rep says in a statement. "It is unfortunate that well-known figures are the target of these kind of claims. Michael Jordan will vigorously defend himself and his reputation."

Fifteen people getting sacked by an Australian mining company Barminco over "Harlem Shake" video are reportedly mulling a lawsuit seeking reinstatement. Words are, only half of them appeared in the video and the others simply watched their friends doing the convulsive dance to the Baauer goofy track without taking part in it.

The owners of the Agnew gold mine were not amused by the stunt. They claimed the video that showed some of the workers taking off their safety gear during the dance was a breach of its "core values of safety, integrity and excellence." The company also banned the men from working at all Barminco sites around the world.

Whitney Houston Extortion Letters Released

Whitney Houston's fame in the early '90s apparently led her to face most threatening moments in the form of fans letters. On Monday, March 4, FBI released 128 pages of documents, spanning the years 1988-1992. The documents detailed investigations that were conducted on behalf of the "I Will Always Love You" singer who died at the age of 48 on February 11, 2012.

The first case FBI investigated was about an unemployed Vermont resident and U.S. Army veteran who wrote 79 letters to the Grammy winner and 16 letters to her family. He once wrote that he fell in love with the singer, whom he referred to as "Miss Whitney", and praised her as "the prettyist the loveliest and the most beautiful lady that there is" in March 1986.

Pop superstar Justin Bieber failed to make a good impression on his London fans by arriving two hours late for his March 4 concert at O2 Arena. The "Boyfriend" singer angered the crowd who flocked to the concert venue for his performance scheduled to start at 8:30 P.M., but were made to wait until around 10:30 P.M. for Bieber to finally show up onstage. Some might have arrived as early as when the concert hall opened at 6:30 P.M. and were already falling asleep for waiting for hours.

"The fans were infuriated and they were booing on a number of occasions before he finally turned up on stage on a strange mechanism which made it look like he was floating through the air," a source reported. Many of Bieber's young fans had to leave only after a few songs or even before the actual show started since they had to catch the last trains home from the show. The concert also took place on a weekday and many had to be up early for school the next morning.

History's 'The Bible' Is Most-Watched Cable Entertainment Telecast in 2013 So Far
