Another trailer for the third and final season of "Spartacus" has been dropped online. Staying true to its title, "War of the Damned", the promo material is jam-packed with bloody scenes in the war field. Spartacus does not hesitate to act brutal in order to defeat the Romans which is led by ambitious rich man Marcus Licinius Crassus.

The upcoming third season takes place after the defeat of Roman commander Gaius Claudius Glaber. Spartacus and his men have amassed major victories against the Romans after the Battle of Vesuvius. These victories have not only forged the legend of Spartacus, but have greatly increased the ranks of the rebellion slaves to more than 30,000. Rome is indeed beginning to tremble at the threat Spartacus now represents.

Ne-Yo is threatened to get sued by his former girlfriend. A woman named Jessica White has hired top-notch attorney Gloria Allred to represent her against the "So Sick" hitmaker. She accuses him of breaking their agreement after he talked about their baby drama during an interview on VH1.

In 2009, Ne-Yo reached an agreement with White after she claimed that she's pregnant with his baby. The singer gave $575,000 to her who later clarified that the kid wasn't his. He then opened up about the paternity drama when appearing on "Behind the Music" last September.

NBC has unveiled the line-up for their annual "New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" TV special. The show will be headlined by the Grammy-winning group Train and Cassadee Pope, the recent winner of "The Voice". The two-hour special will air live from New York's Times Square and will be telecast from 10-11P.M. and 11:30-12:30A.M. Train will be performing their track "Mermaid" and John Lennon's "Imagine".

A musical retrospective featuring Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Madonna, PSY, Beyonce Knowles, Adele, Spice Girls and David Guetta will also highlight the December 31 broadcast. "The Voice" host Carson Daly, who also has his own late-night talk show "Last Call with Carson Daly" over at NBC, will be hosting the TV special for the tenth straight year.

Singer-songwriter and actress Demi Lovato joins this year's "Christmas in Washington" TV special by singing a cover of Mariah Carey's original recording "All I Want for Christmas Is You". Lovato's rendition of the holiday song was taped earlier this month and was finally aired over the weekend.

The judge of "The X-Factor (US)" surprised viewers by belting-out the Mariah Carey hit, which she performed in front of Pres. Barack Obama and his family, and with First Lady Michelle Obama bopping her head along with Lovato's powerhouse vocals. Wearing a gold-studded black leather jacket over a black and gold ensemble, the 20-year-old singer was accompanied by a choir dressed in green sweaters with red scarves.

Rumor has it, Lindsay Lohan is not so amused with the first trailer of her new film "Scary Movie 5". TMZ shares the words that the troubled actress is upset after finding out that the promo material includes a scene that pokes fun at her legal woe.

The site claims that LiLo is mad at the producers because they "secretly inserted an extra dig at her expense." The actress was supposed to appear in a scene where she screams in terror in bed, but later it is revealed that she's just watching her own movie "Herbie: Fully Loaded" on TV.

Piers Morgan is not worried about getting deported. Gun proponents have launched a petition to send him back to U.K. following a heated argument about gun control demand following the school shootings in Connecticut, but the TV host doesn't feel threatened at all.

The petition posted on the White House website has collected nearly 25,000 signatures, the number needed to get the government to address the matter. "Just 4821 signatures needed to take my deportation petition to the point Obama has to respond. I urge you to sign," he tweeted.

A group of anti-Donald Trump has conducted protest against the famed business magnate over the weekend, urging Macy's corporate to fire him. Not only that, but they also threatened to launch similar protest against NBC, pushing the network to kick the Trump Organization boss out of "The Celebrity Apprentice".

Breaking the news was The Hollywood Reporter which had talked to the group's organizer Angelo Carusone, who said he's considering to take similar action against NBC to stop the network from premiering another season of "Celebrity Apprentice". Admitting that he hadn't finalized the plan, Carusone stated, "I am certain there's strong public sentiment for an action like that. But, I am still evaluating its potential."

Cassadee Pope becomes an overnight sensation following her win on the third season of "The Voice". Mentored by Blake Shelton, the Florida-born singer beat fellow team member Terry McDermott and Cee-Lo Green's protege Nicholas David on the final night.

The lead singer of band Hey Monday stood out since her day in blind audition. She got the attention of all the four judges with her cover version of Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn", but she got a big break when covering "Over You" on the live top 10 performance segment on the competition.

Ricky Gervais' new series "Derek" is set to entertain U.S. fans next year when it gets picked up by Netflix. Written and directed by Gervais himself, the mockumentary records the daily life of Derek Noakes, a guy working at a retirement home and is not exactly the most brilliant staff around the place. The first trailer of the series aired back in April in the U.K. and is now bound for U.S. airing.

Just like any series hoping to get some good footing, the three-minute long trailer focuses on introducing the different characters of the series. Viewers get a chance to see the less-than-sharp nursing home attendant Derek and how he interacts with the elderly patients in the home. The clip then introduces Derek's balding best mate Dougie, played by Karl Pilkington, who is apparently paranoid about appearing on a TV show.

Eric Ladin is overjoyed to have an early Christmas present. A representative confirms to PEOPLE that his fashion designer/stylist wife Katy gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Maxfield David Ladin, on Friday, December 21 in Los Angeles.

The Jamie Wright of "The Killing" showed off his newborn son on Twitter and Instagram. In a close snapshot of the baby, the 34-year-old actor wrote a caption, "Wow! The last 24 hrs have been the best of my life. Forever changed, I am now a father."

Apparently not everybody are eager to see Quentin Tarantino's much-praised slavery era film "Django Unchained". While many critics gave good words on the movie, director Spike Lee publicly slammed it by claiming the film was "disrespectful" to his ancestors and stating that he would not watch it.

In a recent interview with Vibe, the "Red Hook Summer" helmer blasted the film as stating, "I can't speak on it 'cause I'm not gonna see it." He went, "All I'm going to say is that it's disrespectful to my ancestors, to see that film. That's the only thing I'm gonna say. I can't disrespect my ancestors. I can't do it. Now, that's me, I'm not speaking on behalf of anybody but myself."

Justin Bieber made the most of his time with Selena Gomez before they spent holiday separately with their respective families. The on-off couple was inseparable when enjoying a holiday trip in Utah, where fellow young celebrity couple Taylor Swift and Harry Styles were there as well.

Rumor has it, the two couples had a double ski date together. Wearing jackets and snow caps, Justin and Selena were caught on camera getting lovey dovey at the airport in Salt Lake City. She sat on his lap and allegedly pulled her for a kiss at one point. They flew to the state in a private jet.

A$AP Rocky does not just rap about thought-provoking lyrics in his new track "Long Live A$AP". The song, which is off his debut set of the same title, also has a very artistic and equally impressive video. The Harlem rapper sits on a throne while black and white surreal images present themselves all throughout the clip.

The video for the lead single shows Rocky in what seems to be a journey into his troubled mind. As listeners hear the 24-year-old emcee talk about harsh realities of life, such as violence, drug addiction, worldly desires, and the Grim Reaper, they also see him get caught up in a castle where strange characters and images abound. Knights, women warriors, smoky shots of a white tub, and shadows of flying birds all paint a very abstract scenario for the video.

Back in November, words ran rampant that Christopher McQuarrie was approached to direct "Mission: Impossible V". While the report has yet to be confirmed, MTV News reaches out to the "Jack Reacher" helmer and asks some updates on the project from him.

"We've been talking about it, yes," McQuarrie coyly says of his potential involvement in the forthcoming Tom Cruise-starring actioner. "We're figuring it out right now. I'm looking at pictures from all over the world and just deciding what invites action."

Singer-songwriter and producer Mike Posner has released an acoustic track for the holidays, lovingly dedicating it to his fans by tweeting "wishing you health and happiness in 2013." The track, "Back Home", features a rap verse from Cleveland rapper King Chip.

Posner also reveals an artwork to accompany the audio release, using a Delta airline ticket stub headed from Los Angeles to his native Detroit. The 24-year-old singer waxes sentimental on hiphop-n-more.com, "It's that time of the year where many people are fortunate enough to be able to travel home and spend quality time with the ones they love."

Just a few days ago, Bryan Singer confirmed that Hugh Jackman will appear in "X-Men: Days of Future Past", now the Logan depicter announces that the "X-Men" gang will return the favor by making a cameo in "The Wolverine". He, however, doesn't mention the name of the character that will take part in his upcoming movie.

Spilling the beans to Bleeding Cool, Jackman says, "You want to get me into trouble, don't you? [laughs] Okay, the movie takes place after 'X-Men: The Last Stand'. My character is at his lowest. He is supposed to be able to heal himself, but he may encounter someone who has worked out a way to really hurt him. And there is a cameo from one of the past 'X-Men' in it."

There's a security scare in a beach house where Rihanna was staying during her holiday break in her home country of Barbados recently. A shirtless man wearing only swimming trunks was caught on camera wandering in the area near the private residence.

According to police, they got a call from someone in RiRi's camp about the stranger. When police arrived on the scene, he's already gone. They didn't believe the trespasser was a stalker, but they are currently investigating the matter and wish to speak with the man.

Rapper 2 Chainz has unveiled his new clip for the single "I'm Different', taken from his debut set "Based on a T.R.U. Story". The Southern hip-hop star shows that he is not the average emcee as he blurts his rhymes comfortably, wearing a tight-fit yellow leopard suit. His unusual pick for an outfit not only shows his edgy fashion sense but also blends well with his signature huge and golden bling-blings.

The video kicks off with some nice slow motion shots of the Miami Beach area. Chainz is seen looking cool amidst the palm trees while shots of a road drug bust and topless car wash signs inter-cut between his performance. Another interesting scene comes in with Chainz on a boat partying with some hot chicks and casually being towed on the road. He certainly proves that he is different when it comes to traveling in style and partying on a boat.

Questions on why Demi Moore didn't file for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, 34, sooner might have been answered if TMZ could be trusted. The 50-year-olf actress, who's believed to have scored big time from her split from her previous husband Bruce Willis, allegedly is working to get a big payout from the "Two and a Half Men" actor.

A source claims that Demi wants the divorce as much as Ashton. She wanted to file her own legal papers but couldn't due to unresolved financial issues. She allegedly will sign his papers only if the terms of their divorce agreement meet her satisfaction. She is said eying to get as much money as she got in her split from the "Die Hard" actor.

A new promo for "Once Upon a Time" season 2 episode 10 has been made available for viewing pleasure. It promises that the upcoming episode of the twisted fairy tale series will wrap up the story of hope, love, revenge and power in a "magical package." The Evil Queen herself teases that "things are about to change radically."

Compared to previosly-released preview, this new one gives more look at some new scenes. Building the anticipation of the new episode, the footage also gives clues that fearsome rivalries will flash, "family secrets are revealed," and "the spell that kept them in Storybrooke is finally broken."

Before AMC's "Breaking Bad" kicks off the second half of its fifth season, one of the series' lead stars, Dean Norris, makes things a little bit more interesting for fans as he tweets an image of his character in a rather unpleasant situation. The first glimpse of the mid-season opener reveals Norris' character, DEA agent Hank Schrader, sitting on a toilet and faced with a shocking revelation.

At first look, the photo immediately suggests a hilarious situation for agent Schrader. While he enjoys some quiet time in the comfort room, he also realizes that his dear brother-in-law, Walt, may be in fact the meth-King Heisenberg he had been chasing for months. The scenario intends to show a funny predicament for Norris' character while he absorbs and figures out what to do with his dilemma.

Frank Ocean wrote and recorded a song for upcoming movie "Django Unchained", but the track, which is titled "Wise Man", did not make it to the final cut for the soundtrack to the highly-anticipated film. It apparently got the axed by the movie's director, the Academy Award-winning Quentin Tarantino. Ocean just made the track available for fans through his Tumblr site, wherein he posted on Saturday, December 22 that " 'Django' was ill without it."

Tarantino was quick to explain the reason for scrapping the track. "Frank Ocean wrote a fantastic ballad that was truly lovely and poetic in every way, there just wasn't a scene for it," said the critically-acclaimed director. "I could have thrown it in quickly just to have it, but that's not why he wrote it and not his intention. So I didn't want to cheapen his effort. But, the song is fantastic, and when Frank decides to unleash it on the public, they'll realize it then."

More hints about Benedict Cumberbatch's mysterious villain in "Star Trek Into Darkness" have been revealed. In an interview with Gya O! Cumberbatch himself gives more tidbits on the much-speculated-about supervillain, who is now known by the name of John Harrison.

Cumberbatch dishes that Harrison, whom some people believe is an alias of another master villain in the film, is a mixture of some iconic movie bad guys. "When J.J. described the role to me... he described someone who was, in movie terms, a mixture of Hannibal Lecter, Jack in 'The Shining' and the Joker in 'Batman'," says the British thesp.

Bethenny Frankel and her husband Jason Hoppy are heading to splitville. The former member of "The Real Housewives of New York City" calls it quits with the man, with whom she has a daughter, after nearly three years of marriage.

"It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating," the 42-year-old mother of one says in a statement. "This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family."

Heading to Christmas Day, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" still holds strong on North American box office. In its two weeks of playing Stateside, the Middle-earth tale film adds around $36.7 million to its $149.8 million domestic cume. Internationally, the fantasy flick directed by Peter Jackson collects $91 million for a total worldwide gross of $433.9 million.

"The Hobbit" easily beats newcomer "Jack Reacher" which lands on the runner up spot with an estimated $15.6 million. Opened in 3,352 theaters, the Tom Cruise-starring actioner receives a glowing "A-" CinemaScore. Paramount Pictures' Megan Colligan says, "I think the movie found a sweet spot. It's had action-hero quality that older men love and has a great opportunity to bring in teenage boys as the audience expands."

Pregnant princess Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William will spend this Christmas with her family, breaking the tradition of staying at Queen Elizabeth's country estate at Sandringham. The couple will join Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, at their home in the village of Bucklebury.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will Spend Christmas Day privately with the Middleton family," a spokesman for St. James' Palace said on Saturday, December 22. Their decision has been given a nod of approval from the Queen herself and her husband Philip. However, the couple is still expected to visit the monarch for part of the holiday.

Mike Scaccia of metal band Ministry died on Sunday, December 23 after collapsing on stage. The cause of death is still not officially announced but The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that the 47-year-old suffered from seizure induced by strobe lights on stage. He had asked the lights to be turned off.

Scaccia was performing at the Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of a 50th birthday celebration for Rigor Mortis singer Bruce Corbitt. He allegedly collapsed during his guitar solo and was rushed to hospital. He was later pronounced dead at 12:26 A.M. in the emergency room at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.

In honor of her late grandmother Clara "Dolly" Braithwaite, Rihanna has donated $1.75 million to a Barbados hospital. The singer personally visited Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown on Saturday, December 22 along with her mother Monica Fenty and Dolly's husband Lionel.

"This was my way of giving back to Barbados, in a form of philanthropy, by assisting the QEH in its continued modernization program," Rihanna said in a statement to E! Online. "I believe that this will have a huge impact on the people of Barbados. This was all done to save lives or at least extend them."

Jesse James thinks that a strict gun control legislation only makes this nation unsafe. In a Facebook post, he proposed to his fans to join the National Rifle Association because "people that should not have guns, will still find a way to get them."

James began with how he encountered violence almost every day in his former residence in Long Beach, California because the state has the strictest gun control in the nation. "I have seen more dead bodies than I can count," James said. "On my way to work, at least once a week in the early mornings, streets are often closed off with yellow tape. Because somebody is dead from a gunshot wound. Or sometimes bodies [are] just seen laying there waiting for police to arrive."
