'American Horror Story' Casts 'Secret Circle' Alum as Deaf-Mute Boy

Another actor has been added to the cast ensemble of "American Horror Story". Chris Zylka, whose show "The Secret Circle" was recently canceled by The CW, is tapped to join the second season of the FX horror series.

"Ryan Murphy, thank God, let me finally announce tonight that I will be a cast member on the second season of 'American Horror Story'," so the 27-year-old actor/model revealed about his involvement in the Ryan Murphy-created series. "It is a thrill, an honor, a challenge."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Holding Hands Days Before Divorce

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes looked like a happy couple on June 16, two weeks before she filed for divorce. The couple was spotted holding hands when taking a stroll down the street of Reykjavik in Iceland, where he's filming his new movie "Oblivion".

Katie filed the divorce papers on Thursday, June 28 in New York. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest," her lawyer said. She's seeking sole custody as well as "primary residential custody" of their daughter Suri, and asking for a "suitable amount" of child support.

The Academy Invites Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Jonah Hill as New Members

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is about to add plenty of new members. The committee has invited 176 acclaimed names in movie industry, including actors, directors, cinematographers, executives, and more. Among the actors who are given the membership invitations are Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Jonah Hill.

A number of the 2012 Academy Awards winners and nominees also received the prestigious invitations. They include "The Artist" director Michel Hazanavicius and its leading cast members Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo, "Bridesmaids" actress Melissa McCarthy, "The Help" star Octavia Spencer, and "Albert Nobbs" actress Janet McTeer.

CBS Brings Back 'Unforgettable' for Summer 2013

CBS apparently has a change of mind regarding its 2012 freshman "Unforgettable". After canceling the show which just aired for one-full season, the network will revive the series for a targeted 2013 summer return. The second season will consist of 13 episodes.

"Hey #Unforgettable fans. It's official, the series will return to #CBS for summer 2013," the Eye took to Twitter on Friday, June 29 to announce the show's revival. Lifetime and TNT were previously reported to be interested in reviving the police procedural series.

Justin Bieber Baffled by Justin Timberlake Comparison, Hanging Up on Interview

Justin Bieber refused to be compared to Justin Timberlake. The teen singer was not impressed when a Mojo in the Morning host said in a phone interview that he thought he heard the former NSYNC boybander when listening to "Boyfriend".

"Our voices sound nothing alike," Bieber insisted. The interviewer explained that he meant it as a compliment, but the Canadian idol was not having it. Praising JT as "talented," he insisted he wanted to have his "own lane and not be compared."

San Diego Comic-Con 2012: Schedule of Selected TV Panels on Friday

The schedule for the second day of San Diego Comic-Con 2012 has been released. A number of hit cable series will headline the convention on Friday, July 13, with AMC set to host "The Walking Dead" and "Breaking Bad" panel at 1:25 P.M. and 6:45 P.M. respectively.

Also potentially sucking people's attention that day are panels for HBO's "Game of Thrones", TNT's "Falling Skies" and Starz's "Spartacus: War of the Damned". A "Firefly" reunion is also set to take place at Comic-Con to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012: Movie Panel Schedule for Friday

The movie panel schedule for Day 2 of the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con has been revealed. Kicking off the panel in Hall H on Friday, July 13 will be Laika's stop-motion animation "ParaNorman". The comedy thriller will hold its panel at 10:45-11:45 P.M. with its main voice cast members all lining up to support the Q&A session.

Later on the day, Screen Gems will bring its much awaited game-adapted movie, "Resident Evil: Retribution" to the "halliest of hall." Never-before-seen footage of the movie will be shown during the panel, while director Paul W. Anderson along Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez and the other cast will be there to discuss the film.

Lisa Vanderpump's Former Mansion Caught on Fire, 'Real Housewives' Cast Evacuated

The mansion that used to belong to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump was engulfed in flames on Friday evening, June 29. It reportedly forced the cast of the reality TV show to halt production and get evacuated from a neighboring house of Adrienne Maloof.

"At home with the family and smelled smoke. The house across the street from us is on fire. All of us here are OK!" her husband Dr. Paul Nassif informed what happened to his Twitter followers. "Thanks for your concern everyone. It looks to have been just the interior of the house and the BHFD has gotten it under control."

50 Cent Talks Car Crash, Credits Bulletproof SUV for Saving Him

A few days after having car accident on the Long Island Expressway, 50 Cent talked to MTV News about the crash. The G-Unit rapper said his bulletproof vehicle saved him from getting serious injury when his car was rear-ended by a Mack Truck.

"We spun off into the rail. We would've flipped if it was a regular truck, but the truck weighs over a ton because it has additional stuff in it," he stated. "It did more damage to the Mack Truck than it did to my truck, 'cause I got a level six; it's a bulletproof vehicle. It's the same standard as what they're moving Obama around in."

Joe: Retaliation" speaks in a high-pitched tone as his and Fallon's alter egos discuss their favorite band One Direction. At one point, Tatum's Susie shows some moves she learns in her dancing class. The girl pals also talk about "ew" things, during which they include a promotion for Tatum's latest drama movie.

Chris Brown and Drake Offered $9 Million to Enter Boxing Ring

Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman, who was previously willing to pay Chris Brown and Drake $1 million for a charity showdown, didn't think the initial offer was enough to lure the two rappers to the ring. So, he raised the prize up to $10 million.

The winner would get $9 million, and the rest presumably would go to the loser. "Instead of doing it in a bar fight, they can get paid," the owner of Celebrity Boxing Federation told E! News. The plan was pitting the rappers against each other in three one-minute rounds in Las Vegas.

Lauryn Hill Pleads Guilty to Evading Tax Returns

Lauryn Hill has just pled guilty to evading taxes. The former Fugees singer was charged on three counts of failing to file federal returns for the years 2005, 2006 and 2007 despite an income of more than $1.8 million.

Hill admitted to "intentionally and willingly" failed to file the returns. Facing up to 3 years behind bars and $75,000 fines, the singer was released on $150,000 bail and is due to be back in court for her sentencing hearing in November.

Publicist Addresses Lamb of God's Singer's Arrest for Manslaughter

Lamb of God's singer Randall Blythe aka Randy was arrested in Prague on Wednesday, June 27 on manslaughter accusations. A publicist for the heavy metal band has issued a statement that it was all only a misunderstanding and no formal charges have been made.

It was initially reported that Randy was involved in an altercation with a man who kept rushing to the stage during the band's concert last month in Prague. The man later died of head injuries after ejected from the stage. If this version were true, Randy could face 10 years in prison on "the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of a fan".

Savannah Guthrie Officially Announced as Ann Curry's 'Today' Replacement

Savannah Guthrie is officially named the successor of Ann Curry as "Today" co-host. The announcement was made by NBC News President Steve Capus on Friday, June 29 morning and is effective immediately.

Guthrie sat on Curry's former seat on Friday beside Matt Lauer, discussing such issues as Colorado wildfires, Supreme Court health care decision, as well as Maroon 5 concert.
