New 'Arrow' Trailer Highlights the Vigilante's Origin

A brand new sneak peek to The CW's upcoming series "Arrow" has been made available for viewing pleasure. While the previously released clip mostly sees Oliver Queen readying himself to bring justice on his city, the newly released trailer focuses on the origin of his alter ego, Green Arrow.

The promo video features Queen getting stranded on an island and how he's honing his skills with a bow and arrow while trying to survive. Upon his return to Starling City, he is determined to use his new ability to punish them who have spread terror in the city and to its inhabitants.

Usher had a busy early morning on May 18. The R&B singer rocked the Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan on the first day of "Today" summer concert series. He pampered the crowd with singles such as "OMG" and "Without U", in addition to playing his new materials "Climax" and "Scream".

Usher is gearing up to release his new studio album "Looking 4 Myself" and will include the two new songs in it. "For me, the last two or three years of my life have been an incredible journey musically and emotionally. So all of the findings of looking for myself went into this album," he explained to host Matt Lauer.

How Ralph Fiennes will look like in his portrayal as acclaimed writer Charles Dickens has been unveiled in a very first still for the actor's second directorial effort "The Invisible Woman (2014)". Presented in a close-up shot, the image shows Fiennes sporting Dickens' signature curl hair and beard.

In addition to Fiennes' first look, another still of the upcoming movie uncovers Felicity Jones' portrayal of Dicken's mistress Nelly Ternan. Jones looks gorgeous in an all-black period gown that is paired with a matching bonnet.

Chyna Clarifies Report She's Rushed to Hospital After Collapsing at Adult Film Expo

Contrary to swirling reports, WWF star Chyna was not rushed to the hospital after she fell unconscious at the Exxxotica Expo adult film convention in Miami, Florida on Friday, May 18. The former WWE Women's Champion has offered some clarification herself. "I wasn't taken to the hospital, but to my hotel room where I rested a bit," she told E! Online.

On her blackout, the 41-year-old commented, "It's weird because I've been feeling so good lately, almost like She-Hulk, my character in Vivid [Entertainment]'s Avengers XXX. But then I started to get a cold and feel weary." She added, "I think I overdid it with the cold medicine and a glass of wine at lunch today. I feel much better now and intend to go out to the pool."

"Magic Mike" gets a brand new trailer, which offers more sexy dance moves performed by Channing Tatum. In addition to Tatum, the promo shows Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey revealing their skin in skimpy outfit while being surrounded by ladies. Tatum's close friendship with Pettyfer is also put under the spotlight in this new sneak peek.

In "Magic Mike", Tatum stars as Mike Matingano, who takes a young dancer named the Kid as his protege. Mike teaches the newbie some fine arts of partying, picking up ladies and making easy money. Though the movie is said to be based on Tatum's past experience as a male stripper, the actor himself insisted that the story has nothing to do with his life.

"I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now," the 26-year-old began her series of tweets in response to the tabloid report. "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."

'Sons of Anarchy' Finds Its Damon Pope in 'Lost' Alum

Harold Perrineau may seek revenge in "Sons of Anarchy" season 5. The actor best known for playing Michael Dawson on "Lost" has landed a role as Damon Pope, a former drug kingpin whose daughter was murdered by Tig in the fourth season finale of the FX series, so TVLine reports.

Pope's arrival will bring what creator Kurt Sutter called a "clusterf**k" for Jax and SAMCRO. The writer has also dished on the upcoming season, "I definitely wanted to lay some track for Season 5 and put some complications already on Jax's shoulder as he's sitting at the head of the table. He's already got a problem [going into Season 5]."

Organizers for Glastonbury Festival failed to secure Adele as one of the headliners for its upcoming gig. Speaking to Metro, Michael Eavis revealed the "Rolling in the Deep" hitmaker was too afraid to take on the famous Pyramid Stage and face a large number of crowd.

"She knows that we want her anyway but she doesn't want to do a thing our size," the organizer dished on the reason why she turned down the headlining offer. "Going on the Pyramid Stage I think is a bit daunting in front of 80,000 people. It's a bit much, really."

Loretta Lynn's Birth Certificate Reveals She's Three Years Older Than Claimed

Country music legend Loretta Lynn has apparently lied about her age. The Associated Press uncovered that the "You Ain't Woman Enough" hitmaker was actually three years older than what she's been telling others after getting its hands on her birth certificate that is on file at the state Office of Vital Statistics in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Per her birth certificate, Lynn was born on April 14, 1932 in Johnson County, Kentucky, making her 80 years old. The same birthdate was also listed on her marriage license and two affidavits from her mother, Clara Marie Ramey, and S.W. Ward Jr., who was not related to the family, that were filed in 1965.

Official: Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe to Star in Dark, Yet Funny Miniseries

Sky Arts has tapped Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe to lead the cast of its upcoming project, "A Young Doctor's Notebook". The British company confirmed that the two actors will play a Russian doctor at different ages in the miniseries, which is based on semi-autobiographical short stories by Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov.

The four-part comedy drama follows the titular doctor who's working in the small village of Muryovo at the dawn of the Russian Revolution in 1917. The Don Draper of "Mad Men" will portray the doctor, who has "a series of bleakly comic exchanges with his younger self," played by the Arthur Kipps of "The Woman in Black".

Scotty McCreery is thrilled by his double nomination at 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The winner of "American Idol" season 10 says in a statement, "I am so grateful for all of my teen fans. Since I'm still a teenager myself, their support has meant everything to me over the last year."

Hot on heels of the TCAs nods announcement, McCreery is confirmed to return to "Idol" stage on its two-night finale. On May 22, he will sing "Please Remember Me", a Tim McGraw song he re-recorded as this season's farewell anthem. On May 23, he will be back to help celebrate the winner of season 11.

After playing the eponymous superhero in "Green Lantern", Ryan Reynolds could end up being an immortal swordsman in his next movie. The "Safe House" actor has been named front-runner for the lead role in a forthcoming remake of "Highlander".

A week before the Battle of the Blackwater erupts on "Game of Thrones", the first look at the epic fight has been released online. Chan was promoting his 100th film "Chinese Zodiac" which is confirmed to be his last action movie. "I tell you, I am not young any more ... I am really, really tired," he told reporters, adding "The world is too violent now. It's a dilemma because I like action, but I don't like the violence." Chan said people would not believe him when he told them so. "They say 'no, you're still young, you can still do it,' but I have to stop one day," he said.

"American Idol" hopeful Phillip Phillips confirmed earlier this week that he will undergo a kidney stone surgery sometime after the show ends. However, it has just been reported that his health condition is so severe that he needs to go down under the knife immediately.

During his hometown visit last Saturday, May 12, Phillips spent a day with his family doctor who was alarmed at his condition. According to TMZ, the personal physician urged him to get the surgery done now after noticing that he was not eating and looked horrible. However, Phillips is trying his best to postpone the procedure after the finale next week.

The family of Donna Summer has decided to keep her funeral a private affair. Only family and close friends would be invited to the Queen of Disco's memorial service which details are still kept secret despite an earlier report that it would be held on Wednesday, May 23 in Nashville.

"On behalf of the Sudano family, the overwhelming outreach from the media, fans and friends alike has been most truly appreciated," Brian Edwards, Summer's publicist, said in a statement. Kanye West's New Short Film 'Cruel Summer' to Hit Cannes

Kanye West is not always making the headlines for his mysterious relationship with Kim Kardashian. It has been announced that the rapper will debut his new short film "Cruel Summer" at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, May 23.

West will personally present the film which is included in the out-of-competition category. Dubbed a "short art film", "Cruel Summer" is "a fusion of short film and art installation" and an "immersive seven-screen experience." The film is open for the public two days following its premiere.
