Bret Michaels Settles Head Injury Lawsuit With Tony Awards and CBS

The long-running legal battle between Bret Michaels and the producers of the Tony Awards and CBS has ended. The Poison singer has settled the lawsuit about the head injury that he sustained at the 2009 ceremony.

Details of the settlement were not disclosed. Michaels' attorney Alex Weingarten, wrote to The AP, "Mr. Michaels would like to thank his fans for their continued support." Meanwhile, representatives of Tony Awards and CBS have released a joint statement, saying that "an amicable resolution" had been reached but no further details would be released.

Harry Shum Jr. has a unique way to celebrate his 30th birthday. Instead of throwing a big party, the Mike Chang of "Glee" took a group of his friends on an adventure high above the treetops over the San Gabriel Mountains. He and his pals went ziplining at Navitat Canopy Adventures in Wrightwood, California.

Sharing the weekend fun, the "Step Up 3-D" actor, who actually turned 30 on April 28, posted on his Twitter two photos of him and his group before the action. Along with the pictures, he wrote, "Zip-lining was epic to the max! Thanks to the tour guides and @navitatca. Let the good times zip!" and "Party bus to zip-lining! Thanks @groundlink for the lift!"

"Give It to Em" might be Jaden's first solo song, but the son of celebrity couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith actually has collaborated with his buddy Justin Bieber in two songs before. He's featured in the Canadian singer's "Never Say Never" and teamed up with him in a viral track "Happy New Year".

Helberg and his actress/writer/director wife chose Adeline as their newborn's name. While there are no further details shared regarding the newborn, a source told the publication, "The family is thrilled." The source added that the Rabbi Scott of "A Serious Man" is "excited to be a father - he's been doing his reading."

Lady GaGa's upcoming concert in Indonesia was scrapped, so it was announced on Tuesday, May 15. "The National Police said verbally that [the concert] would not be permitted," said Jakarta police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto as quoted by the Jakarta Globe.

The gig was halted by authorities due to protests launched by Islamic hard-liners and conservative politicians in the country. Permit for the concert was also denied, so another spokesperson from the National police Boy Rafli Amar informed the press.

Hilary Swank is taking a home-audio company to court over unauthorized photos. The leading lady of "Million Dollar Baby" has, on May 10, filed a lawsuit against Robert's Home Audio and Video and its proprietor Randall Cordero and Cordero Studios, claiming that they were using her name and image in their ads without her permission.

Part of the complaint submitted in Los Angeles Superior Court read, "Defendants did not ask for or receive Ms. Swank's permission to use her photograph, identity or persona in the advertisements or otherwise to associate with Defendants' companies or to market Defendants' commercial products or services." It, however, didn't offer details on how the images were used.
