George Clooney, Dad Arrested and Handcuffed Fighting for Sudan

George Clooney went from White House to police car overnight. The actor who was invited by President Barack Obama to attend a dinner in honor of David Cameron on Wednesday, March 14 was arrested in front of Sudanese embassy in Washington D.C. the next morning.

Clooney was handcuffed along with his journalist father Nick, Martin Luther King III, NAACP President Ben Jealous, Rep Jim McGovern of Mass., Rep. Jim Moran of Virginia and former Mass. Rep. Tom Andrews, for accusing Sudan's president, Omar al-Bashir, of provoking a humanitarian crisis and blocking food and aid from entering the Nuba Mountains in the county's border region with South Sudan.

Ryan Sheckler Had $100K Jewelry Stolen From Him When He's Asleep

Ryan Sheckler has fallen victim to jewelry heist while he was sleeping. The 22-year-old skateboarder, who was a star on MTV's "Life of Ryan", had nearly $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his room at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on February 27, and a woman he's known for 4 years was believed to be behind it, TMZ reported.

In a police report obtained by the gossip site, Sheckler claimed that he took Stacy Salazar back to his room at 3:45 A.M. before falling asleep. When awakened by the sound of his door closing, he noticed that Salazar was not around. It wasn't until hours later, however, that he realized he has lost some of his pricey valuables.

'Glee' Casts 'Melrose Place' Alum as Puck's Father

Another family member of New Directions' kids will be introduced on "Glee". It has been confirmed that Thomas Calabro, who is famous for his role as Dr. Michael Mancini on 1990s' "Melrose Place", is set to portray the estranged father of Mark Salling's Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the musical series.

The 53-year-old actor/director will make his guest-starring appearance as Puck's dad in the 18th episode of season 3, which is expected to air in April. He joins Gina Hecht, who has appeared in season 1 as the mother of Finn's best buddy.

Vanessa Hudgens let out her inner bad girl as she filmed a robbery scene on the set of "Spring Breakers" in Florida. Ditching her pretty starlet persona, the 23-year-old actress was caught on camera rocking a ski-mask and wielding a hammer before raiding a restaurant in St. Petersburg.

Also spotted on the set on Thursday night, March 15 was Ashley Benson, who brought a handgun as she joined Hudgens in robbing the eatery. Donning blue jumpers and pink hot pants, the two ladies were seen running out from a yellow pick-up truck driven by Rachel Korine before rushing into the restaurant and grabbing some cash from a visitor.

Michael Madsen Grateful He's Cleared of Child Cruelty Charges

Michael Madsen has just been cleared off his latest run-in with the law. Nearly a week after the actor playing Mr. Blonde in "Reservoir Dogs" was arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment, the Los Angeles County District Attorney revealed that he won't be facing any charges of child cruelty.

Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the district attorney's office, said that prosecutors have determined there was insufficient evidence of misdemeanor cruelty to a child. Reacting to the good news, Madsen's attorney Perry Wander told TMZ, "Michael is grateful that this unfortunate family incident is now closed and thanks those that thoroughly investigated this matter."

Comedian Gallagher Under Sedation as He Recovers From Heart Attack

Gallagher, the stand-up comedian best known for smashing watermelons with a sledgehammer, is in stable condition after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday, March 14 evening. The comic, whose real name is Leo Anthony Gallagher Jr., collapsed backstage at Coach Joe's Hat Tricks in Lewisville, Texas just before he went on the stage to perform. At approximately 4 P.M., the Lonny Barnett of "Rock of Ages" was booked on one count of simple criminal damage to property. He was released from police custody around an hour later. New Orleans police spokesman Officer Garry Flot told Reuters that bail was set at $5,000 for the 36-year-old actor.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese Pick 'Wolf' as Fifth Collaboration

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are in for their fifth collaboration. They have committed to "The Wolf of Wall Street", a film based on the memoir of Jordan Belfort who is a former white collar criminal spending 22 months in jail for offenses related to stock market manipulation.

Filming is to start in August in New York using the script by Terence Winter, the exec producer of "The Sopranos" and "Boardwalk Empire". Winter will polish his script before going into production. In his book, Belfort recounted his days as a "hard partying, drug addicted stockbroker who was indicted in 1998 for security fraud and money laundering".

One Direction will replace Jonas Brothers as the new teen TV stars. The British band, comprised of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik, follow the footsteps of their touring mate Big Time Rush by scoring a TV show on Nickelodeon.

"The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!" Nickelodeon announced on its Twitter account. The band would officially announce the TV project in an upfront in New York this week.
