Zombie and horror game fans can rejoice because Lionsgate has announced that it's picking up the movie rights to Deep Silver video game, "Dead Island". A survival game about vacationers attacked by the undeads on an island paradise, the game became a viral sensation when its trailer was released in February this year.

Back then, the movie rights were shopped around by "The Mummy" producer Sean Daniel and his partner Jason Brown as well as Union Entertainment's Richard Leibowitz and Dmitri Johnson. But there was a rights chase but it was unclear who eventually grabbed it. Turns out Lionsgate won and Daniel gets Stefan Sonnenfeld as co-producer.

DJ Pauly D is determined to make everyone look like him and his "Jersey Shore" gang. The reality show star is creating his own line of tanning products that would be sold in high-end professional salons this winter.

Pauly has signed a reportedly 50/50 deal with Devoted Creations Inc. to have the exclusive line of tanning lotions and sunless products. Distributions will not be limited to Seaside Heights but the whole world.

There's a chance that people will see Chuck Lorre's side of story in the case of Charlie Sheen being sacked off "Two and a Half Men". In the vanity card that aired at the end of Monday, September 26 night episode, the show's creator seemingly hinted that he would do a tell-all book.

Los Angeles Times reported that FilmDistrict is currently finalizing a deal with MGM to take over the distribution rights of the war film starring "Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth and plan to release it in 2012.

The original "Red Dawn" was released in 1984, starring Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Lea Thompson and Jennifer Grey. The story centers on some teenagers in Washington who fight against invading Soviet forces. In the new version, meanwhile, the invaders were changed to Chinese.

Bruno Mars' brand new single "It Will Rain" from "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" has finally made its way out for Twihards' listening pleasure. Mick Jagger has offered an idea to create an adult thriller movie under the working title of "Tabloid". For the project, the frontman of legendary rock band The Rolling Stones has appointed Oscar-nominated scribe Josh Olson to materialize the screenplay.

Justin Timberlake has sealed a deal to star in a biopic project called "Spinning Gold". Deadline reported that the "In Time" actor is set to play a famed 1970s record mogul Neil Bogart, who is the co-founder of Casablanca Records.

In the project, the singer-turned-actor will also serve as the producer along with Neil's son Timothy Scott Bogart and Evan Bogart, as well as TV producer Gary Randall. Timothy additionally provides the screenplay.

The feud between Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. is finally over. On Monday, September 26, it was officially announced that they have reached a settlement in their legal dispute following the actor's $100 million lawsuit over his firing from "Two and a Half Men".

Leisha Hailey has been left fuming by her removal from a Southwest Airlines flight. Through Twitter, the former star of "The L Word" claimed that she and her girlfriend were kicked off the flight for kissing and demanded apology for the discrimination. Southwest has since issued a statement regarding the incident.

"Initial reports indicate that we received several passenger complaints characterizing the behavior as excessive," explained the airline. "Our crew, responsible for the comfort of all Customers on board, approached the passengers based solely on behavior and not gender. The conversation escalated to a level that was better resolved on the ground, as opposed to in flight."
