Britney Spears has denied through her representative that she has been asked to marry boyfriend Jason Trawick but all clues pointed otherwise. Several days after Jason was seen shopping for a ring at Hollywood's Pascal Mouawad jewelers, Britney was sporting a huge bling on her engagement finger.

Britney was in London to shoot the music video of "Criminal". When arriving at BBC Radio 1 on Thursday, September 15 for an interview, she waved to the paparazzi with her right hand and held out her left hand which attracted the attention with the big rock.

"Nothing Compares to You" singer Sinead O'Connor has shocked people in the past few months and she just did it again earlier this week with a suicide contemplation. On her Twitter page, she wrote disturbing messages after visiting her psychiatrist on Wednesday, September 14, leading people to question her mental state.

"All this s*** we're not supposed to say. Including suicidal feelings, sex, etc. U just get treated like a crazy person. I want to go To heaven SO bad. Have for yrs' she continued," she wrote. The 44-year-old asked her followers the best way to end her life without her children knowing. She has four kids aged between four and twenty four.

More details from one of the reality projects that Kim Kardashian is working on have been revealed. She is set to be the executive producer of the new "The Pussycat Dolls" reality show which will feature the launch of the new PCD group.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Kim is one of the producers who would be working with Nigel Lythgoe under his new Nigel Lythgoe Productions brand. He was also in talks with PCD founder Robin Antin and Dr. Laura Berman. Turns out this is the same project that would find singing and dancing girls "10 times better than the original group."

While it is only a month away from its theatrical release, Andrew Niccol's sci-fi action "In Time" must face a lawsuit against author Harlan Ellison. The writer has sued the director and New Regency over copyright infringement issue.

Ellison accused Niccol and the studio of copying his 1965 sci-fi story "Repent, Harlequin! Said the Ticktockman". Ellison's attorney claims that the Justin Timberlake-starring movie "copies key plot elements, themes, characters, events, sequents and settings of 'Repent, Harlequin!' "

Joe Manganiello might be back on the single market. Nearly a year after the "True Blood" hunk announced his engagement to model Audra Marie, Us Weekly came out with the claim that the couple have called it quits. "It's totally over," one inside source said, while another one noted, "It was a long time coming. They'll both be better off for it."

It was unclear what may have caused the alleged split. A source close to the 34-year-old actor suggested he "refused" to set a wedding date, but his fiancee allegedly forged ahead with the wedding planning that include picking wedding dress and gift registry. "He [went] completely quiet about discussing wedding details," the source said. "He [was] clearly having reservations."

Hugh Laurie releases his first music video from debut album "Let Them Talk". The "House M.D." actor keeps things simple yet classy in the music video. He is seen strumming his guitar and delivering his song "The Whale Has Swallowed Me".

Kevin Costner will not star in Quentin Tarantino's drama "Django Unchained" at last. Variety's Justin Kroll has broken the news via Twitter, writing that the 56-year-old movie veteran has quit the project due to scheduling conflict.

While further details of his departure are still under wraps, it is assumed that his involvement in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" is the reason why he left "Django". Besides, he has other jobs on his sleeves, including a miniseries on History Channel, "The Hatfields and the McCoys", and a movie "A Little World of Our Own", where he serves as the director.

Heidi Klum is apparently one dangerous celebrity. The former Victoria's Secret model has topped Internet security firm McAfee's annual list of Most Dangerous Celebrity in Cyberspace. She takes over the title from last year's No. 1 celebrity Cameron Diaz, who slipped to the runner-up position.

In a press release, McAfee claimed that fans are at risk of running into online threats designed to steal personal information. Research found that searching for the "Project Runway" host's pictures and downloads "yields more than a 9% chance of landing on a website that has tested positive for online threats, such as spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware."

The 1980s cult series "Beauty and the Beast" is going to get a reboot treatment. The CW has confirmed that it is developing the remake project at CBS Television Studios based on the classic drama series that ran on CBS from 1987 to 1990 and starred Ron Perlman as Vincent aka the Beast as well as Linda Hamilton as Catherine.

The reboot version will present the modernized romantic love story with a procedural twist. "Without a Trace" producer Jennifer Levin and "Brothers & Sisters" producer Sherri Cooper are attached to pen the project. They will also serve as executive producer alongside Paul Witt, C. Anthony Thomas, Ron Koslow and Bill Haber.

Ashanti has a brand new song called "Never Too Far Away", and she has released it for fans' listening pleasure. Coming from production hands of L.T. Hutton, the ballad track serves as one of the songs featured in upcoming thriller "Dream House".

Starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, the movie is about a family that unknowingly moves into a home where grisly murders were committed, only to find themselves the killer's next target. It will be released in the United States on September 30.

Walt Disney Pictures has dropped another parody teaser trailer for "The Muppets". Titled "The Pig With the Froggy Tattoo", the video presents a spoof of David Fincher's anticipated thriller "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)".

The preview shows some imitated scenes of the "Dragon Tattoo" original teaser, including the background music. "We couldn't get the rights to the real song, so we had some dude write this one," so read a tagline in the video. It also gives a glimpse at the cameos like Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman and Rico Rodriguez.

"The Nine Lives of Chloe King" will reportedly not return for a second season. Sources say ABC Family has cancelled the show, which is paired with "Pretty Little Liars" during the summer.

Another ABC Family freshman "The Lying Game", meanwhile, receives a good news. Deadline reports the drama series, which is based on another book by "Pretty Little Liars" author Sara Shepard, has been picked up for 12 additional episodes, bringing its first season order to 22. It is not clear when the second half of the first season will air.

Brad Pitt doesn't mean to say that his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, is responsible for his uninteresting life during their marriage. Soon after his recent interview with Parade made headlines, the leading man of "World War Z" released a statement to stop further misinterpretation of his words.

Two years after their sophomore set "Leave This Town", DAUGHTRY finally gave a first taste to their upcoming studio album. The Chris Daughtry-fronted band posted the new material, titled "Renegade", on their official website, and gave it away to whoever pre-ordering the new album.

John Hodgman has clarified that he will not star in "Ghostbusters 3". Taking to his Twitter to put the brake on the circulating speculations, the 40-year-old columnist/comedian wrote, "ANSWER THREE: I AM NOT APPEARING IN GHOSTBUSTERS 3. Nor is @scharpling. That was a radio #fakecastingnews joke."

Rumors that Hodgman might appear in the latest "Ghostbusters" movie emerged after the actor presented a "hypothetical" scenario during an interview on WFMU's "The Best Show". "If you were hypothetically offered a role in 'Ghostbusters 3'... would you take the role?" he asked as quoted by io9.

First trailer for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's "Premium Rush" has landed online. The promotional video sees the John Blake of "The Dark Knight Rises" riding his bike in various action-packed scenes. He is seen dodging speeding cars, crazed babies, open doors and pedestrians in one busy working day in New York City.

To arrive in U.S. theaters on January 13, 2012, "Premium Rush" follows Levitt's Wilee, an agile and aggressive bicylce messengers in the Big Apple. One day, he picks up his last envelope at Columbia University on a premium rush run, before he discovers that the package is different. As a result, he becomes a target of a dirty cop who wants to kill him.

Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord are in limbo with their gigs on "The Real Housewives of New York City". Sources say Bravo does not want the three stars in the next season of the show, but a representative for the network says, "No decisions have been made yet."

Zarin's representative, Darren Bettencourt Jill, also denies the report, stating that the 47-year-old lady "is still in discussions with Bravo for season five and no final decisions have been made." In a similar move, Bensimon's representative says, "Nothing has been confirmed either way."

There's a possibility that Sofia Vergara is planning to have a child with her boyfriend of a year, Nick Loeb. On Thursday, September 15, the "Modern Family" star was caught buying a pre-natal vitamins from a pharmacy in West Hollywood, accompanied by a friend.

The 39-year-old actress did not even try to hide it from the paparazzi who were waiting to get her pictures outside the store. She grabbed the New Chapter vitamins and queued at the cashier to pay.
