Michael C. Hall in Negotiation to Star in 'Big Fish' Musical

Michael C. Hall could be the lead star in a Broadway adaptation of Tim Burton's movie "Big Fish". The "Dexter" star, according to Deadline, is negotiating with the musical stage production to replace first candidate, Hugh Jackman, next year.

John August who wrote the film's screenplay based on the novel by Daniel Wallace, has written a book for the musical. Susan Stroman will direct, Andrew Lippa wrote the music, and Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks are producing. Deadline reported, "It is expected to be quite the stage event."

Leonardo DiCaprio Mistaken for a Robber in Australia

Leonardo DiCaprio may try to go beyond the radar but the plan almost backfired. The "Catch Me If You Can" star was mistaken for a robber in a jewelry shop in Sydney, Australia when he went under the hood and tagged along two of his bulky bodyguards.

Per TMZ, The Family Jewels shop clerk named Linda panicked when two men walked into the store and then stood guard at the door. A man, wearing hoodie, cap and dark sunglasses, followed. Linda's intuition said she was about to be robbed so she fetched a customer to go next door and call the store's owner.

"The Wendy Williams Show" will kick off its third season with Kate Gosselin as guest. The mother of sextuplet and twins was invited to the talk show on September 12 because her long-running reality show is ending its run on TLC in the same week.

Right after Kate, Wendy Williams will welcome rapper Common who is coming out with a book. Wendy has also lined up her guests up until the end of the month. Among the celebrities are Levi Johnston, Jane Lynch, Antonio Banderas and Elizabeth Hurley.

Reese Witherspoon Interested in Buying Brad Pitt's House

Reese Witherspoon reportedly is taking interest in Brad Pitt's Malibu pad and has submitted her name in the list of potential buyers. After a walk-in on August 28, the newly-married actress wants to purchase the beachfront property which is offered on the market for $14 million.

"She seemed interested in it," a witness told Us Weekly, adding "She hasn't made an offer yet. The house is still on the market." The house boasts a pool and a tennis court. Pitt bought in in 2005 for $8 million. The actor and partner Angelina Jolie have other properties in France, New Orleans and Italy.

Chris Brown Cleared Off 95 Parking Tickets

Chris Brown has just been freed from 95 parking tickets that were issued for him. Los Angeles officials have ruled that the singer only has to pay a fraction of $15,000 in parking citations.

His lawyer Mark Geragos said last month that West Hollywood city officials have dismissed more than $15,000 in parking citations Brown racked up for parking in a handicapped space at his condominium complex because those were the spaces assigned to him. Chris wasn't doing anything wrong by parking there because developer of the building had mistakenly marked his spaces as handicapped.

Coming out via MSN, this promotional video features several behind-the-scene footage as well as clips from the star-studded romantic comedy, and includes snippets of the A-list cast ensemble speaking about the excitement working on this holiday movie.

Among the stars sharing their thoughts are Zac Efron, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Jon Bon Jovi and Sarah Jessica Parker. Sitting on a couch on the set of their sitcom in Burbank, California, the three actors appeared on the Thursday (September 8) episode of the late night show via satellite.

"This season, we'll reveal who the mother is," Cryer read on number five, prompting David Letterman to say it does not make sense because it should be the mystery answered by another CBS comedy, "How I Met Your Mother". On number four, Kutcher said, "We're switching to metric, so it'll be 4.023 Men," while Jones read reason number 3, "I'm thirty-five ***damn years old."

Helping to kick off FNO at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City on Thursday (September 8) night was 25-year-old Lea. The actress playing Rachel Berry on "Glee" was joined by co-star Darren Criss and creator Ryan Murphy. She signed T-shirts for the first 150 fans, and compared it to Mardi Gras as saying, "It's so fun. It's like the city becomes so alive."

Not long after Mel Gibson announced his project to adapt the story of Jewish hero Judah Maccabee to the big screen, some prominent Jewish leaders sounded off their protest. One of those who was not impressed with the actor's plan is Rabbi Marvin Heir, founder and dean of Los Angeles' Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance.

To The Hollywood Reporter, Heir said, "Mel Gibson has shown nothing but antagonism and disrespect to Jews. First of all there were the anti-Semitic remarks he made, his portrayal of Jews in The Passion of Christ. I'm talking about those Jews who did not accept Christ, they were all portrayed as idiots, buffoons or people who were tyrants, with a very unfair portrayal."

The music video was shot in Paris in late July. "I love Paris, it's one of my favorite cities, and so to shoot a video in Paris was a dream come true," Joe said. Talking about his co-star, he said, "She's really sweet. She lives in Paris. Her name's Angele. Really great, really nice. We were really comfortable with each other on camera."

Former 'Biggest Loser' Contestant in Critical Condition After Fall

A contestant from season 9 of NBC's hit show "The Biggest Loser" is currently being treated in intensive care unit at a San Francisco hospital. According to TMZ, fan favorite Sam Poueu is listed in critical condition after falling several stories off a building last Saturday, September 3.

Details on what led to Sam's fall are somewhat scarce, but it is said that he suffered a pelvic injury, torn ligaments, a punctured lung, and a broken leg because of the accident. Despite the critical condition claim, TMZ did note that the 26-year-old is conscious and can still recognize visitors.

Lady GaGa has booked a New Year's gig. Ryan Seacrest announced on Thursday, September 8 that the "Judas" singer would be one of the performers on ABC's live "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve."

"One of the things we're doing for Dick celebrating his 40th year hosting the event is having Lady GaGa perform live in Times Square right before the ball drops," Seacrest said. This would be the first time that GaGa takes part at the December 31 event.
