Michael C. Hall could be the lead star in a Broadway adaptation of Tim Burton's movie "Big Fish". The "Dexter" star, according to Deadline, is negotiating with the musical stage production to replace first candidate, Hugh Jackman, next year.

John August who wrote the film's screenplay based on the novel by Daniel Wallace, has written a book for the musical. Susan Stroman will direct, Andrew Lippa wrote the music, and Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks are producing. Deadline reported, "It is expected to be quite the stage event."

Leonardo DiCaprio may try to go beyond the radar but the plan almost backfired. The "Catch Me If You Can" star was mistaken for a robber in a jewelry shop in Sydney, Australia when he went under the hood and tagged along two of his bulky bodyguards.

Per TMZ, The Family Jewels shop clerk named Linda panicked when two men walked into the store and then stood guard at the door. A man, wearing hoodie, cap and dark sunglasses, followed. Linda's intuition said she was about to be robbed so she fetched a customer to go next door and call the store's owner.

"The Wendy Williams Show" will kick off its third season with Kate Gosselin as guest. The mother of sextuplet and twins was invited to the talk show on September 12 because her long-running reality show is ending its run on TLC in the same week.

Right after Kate, Wendy Williams will welcome rapper Common who is coming out with a book. Wendy has also lined up her guests up until the end of the month. Among the celebrities are Levi Johnston, Jane Lynch, Antonio Banderas and Elizabeth Hurley.

Reese Witherspoon reportedly is taking interest in Brad Pitt's Malibu pad and has submitted her name in the list of potential buyers. After a walk-in on August 28, the newly-married actress wants to purchase the beachfront property which is offered on the market for $14 million.

"She seemed interested in it," a witness told Us Weekly, adding "She hasn't made an offer yet. The house is still on the market." The house boasts a pool and a tennis court. Pitt bought in in 2005 for $8 million. The actor and partner Angelina Jolie have other properties in France, New Orleans and Italy.

Chris Brown has just been freed from 95 parking tickets that were issued for him. Los Angeles officials have ruled that the singer only has to pay a fraction of $15,000 in parking citations.

His lawyer Mark Geragos said last month that West Hollywood city officials have dismissed more than $15,000 in parking citations Brown racked up for parking in a handicapped space at his condominium complex because those were the spaces assigned to him. Chris wasn't doing anything wrong by parking there because developer of the building had mistakenly marked his spaces as handicapped.

Warner Bros. Pictures have unleashed a brand new featurette for "New Year's Eve". Coming out via MSN, this promotional video features several behind-the-scene footage as well as clips from the star-studded romantic comedy, and includes snippets of the A-list cast ensemble speaking about the excitement working on this holiday movie.

Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones have presented "Top Ten Reasons to Watch the New Season of 'Two and a Half Men' " on "Late Show With David Letterman". "Dancing with the Stars" season 13 has claimed its first victim. Ricki Lake took to her Twitter to inform that she got injured during a rehearsal on Wednesday, September 7, writing, "Look, my first injury... Don't ask how it happened," while sharing a picture of her bruised shin.

Not long after Mel Gibson announced his project to adapt the story of Jewish hero Judah Maccabee to the big screen, some prominent Jewish leaders sounded off their protest. One of those who was not impressed with the actor's plan is Rabbi Marvin Heir, founder and dean of Los Angeles' Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance.

To The Hollywood Reporter, Heir said, "Mel Gibson has shown nothing but antagonism and disrespect to Jews. First of all there were the anti-Semitic remarks he made, his portrayal of Jews in The Passion of Christ. I'm talking about those Jews who did not accept Christ, they were all portrayed as idiots, buffoons or people who were tyrants, with a very unfair portrayal."

Another teaser for Joe Jonas' "Just in Love" music video has arrived, giving more clues on what to expect from the upcoming clip. In this newest sneak peek, the "Camp Rock" star is seen running down the street with his leading lady. Instead of featuring the song, it has horns blaring as a backsound.

The music video was shot in Paris in late July. "I love Paris, it's one of my favorite cities, and so to shoot a video in Paris was a dream come true," Joe said. Talking about his co-star, he said, "She's really sweet. She lives in Paris. Her name's Angele. Really great, really nice. We were really comfortable with each other on camera."

Another big Hollywood star is cast in "Les Miserables". It has been confirmed that Russell Crowe signed up to take a role in the big screen adaptation of the Broadway play, portraying the heartless police inspector Javert.

Crowe's character will encounter Hugh Jackman's Jean Valjean when the police inspector persecutes the impoverished man for stealing bread to feed his family. Speaking of these two lead actors, producer Sir Cameron MacKintosh said, "Not only were they born to play these roles vocally, but they thrillingly inhabit this great score."

Marion Cotillard recently spoke up about the character she portrays in "The Dark Knight Rises". While many fans have been speculating that her character Miranda Tate is actually an alias for Talia al Ghul, the Oscar-winning actress hinted that it is not true.

Speaking to MTV News, Cotillard revealed that her character in the highly anticipated movie is not taken from the original comic. "Glee" will trim Ashley Fink's role in the upcoming season 3. Sources say her screen time will be drastically reduced following the new season premiere, which means her character Lauren Zizes will appear in less scenes.

A "Glee" spokesperson and Fink's camp have not commented on the report which was first brought to attention by TVLine, but her character's storyline has been revealed. It is said that Lauren [SPOILER ALERT!] abruptly quits New Directions and breaks up with her boyfriend Puck (Mark Salling).

Two new teaser posters for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" have been unveiled via Yahoo! Movies. Both of the fresh one-sheets are set against the background of a gorgeous sunset and feature a tagline that read, "Forever is only the beginning."

The first poster gives a look at Edward Cullen and Bella Swan as they share a passionate embrace. Like a close-up shot poster released a day earlier, Bella has her wedding ring on. The second one-sheet, meanwhile, presents sad-looking Jacob Black who stands alone with a pack of wolves flocking the background.

HBO has officially picked up Aaron Sorkin's drama pilot to series. It has not been determined how many episodes will be ordered by the network, but it is believed to be around 10 episodes. The project itself, which was previously known as "More as This Story Develops", is still untitled.

The show focuses on a cable news anchor (Jeff Daniels), his new executive producer (Emily Mortimer), his newsroom staff (Alison Pill, John Gallagher Jr., Olivia Munn, Dev Patel, Thomas Sadoski), and their boss (Sam Waterston). "Together they set out on a patriotic and quixotic mission to do the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles and their own personal entanglements," Deadline sums up the story.

Ali Lohan has been hit with plastic surgery rumors after she was caught on camera with a more angular face and fuller lips recently. Quick to come to the 17-year-old aspiring model's defense was her sister, Lindsay Lohan. In response to the speculation, the older Lohan simply told E! News, "She has never."

Strengthening Lindsay's debunking statement was Ali's modeling agency. Next Model Management director Alexis Borges said, "Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent."

Mel Gibson, who was criticized by Jewish community a few years ago for making movie "The Passion of the Christ", is going to redeem himself by working on a Jewish hero movie. The former partner of Oksana Grigorieva is confirmed to team up with "Basic Instinct" writer Joe Eszterhas to get the work done.

The "Edge of Darkness" actor will make a movie about Judah Maccabee, a man who led the Jewish struggle against tyranny. The warrior defeated Seleucid king Antiochus IV and seized Jerusalem from the Greek-Syrian armies before re-consecrating the Temple. The victory was celebrated every year in Hanukkah holiday.

Reese Witherspoon will let her recent car accident pass. According to Us Weekly, the Elle Woods of "Legally Blonde" doesn't have any plan to press charges against the 84-year-old woman who struck her with a car while she was jogging in Santa Monica, California recently.

"The incident is being treated as an accident," a source explained why the actress won't likely to pursue the matter to court. "The driver was not given an alcohol test at the accident scene and typically she would receive a fine and a point on her driving license as it is considered a moving violation."

HBO is giving away a sneak peek to "Entourage" finale by dropping a teaser. It does not include any new scenes from the upcoming episode, but does feature the characters saying such touching lines as "everything's gonna be alright," "let's hug it out" and "we're always be friends." Towards the end of it, the words "all good things must come to an end" flash on the screen.

The last episode of season 8, which will also be the series' end, will air Sunday, September 11 at 10:30 P.M. on HBO. Nicole Richie is speaking out against claims that she is at war with Jessica Simpson on the set of "Fashion Star". During a phone interview with "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Thursday, August 8, the "House of Harlow" designer set the record straight by insisting that she respects her fellow mentor on the new reality show.

"Well, I'll tell you right now that that couldn't be further from the truth," the 29-year-old told Ryan Seacrest. "I actually love and adore Jessica. ... I've known her for years, first of all. A new promo for "The Vampire Diaries" season 3 has just been unleashed to highlight the temptation, seduction, obsession and destruction that will make the story. Called "Appetites", it shows Damon and Stefan trying to get Elena's attention, but the latter is going a bit rough by pulling her hair.

As a symbol of a terror, Klaus delivers a bloody white cake to Elena while the screen features the line "everyone wants a piece of her". Some new scenes from the upcoming season are also inserted, including the ones which see two bloodied girls sitting on a couch and a girl falling from high above.

Skylar Grey is embracing her insecurity instead of fighting it in her newly-premiered music video for her official first single "Invisible". It shows a broody-looking Skylar as she walks through the crowd. She, however, finds her solace when standing tall on an iron bar hanging by a construction crane while overlooking the city below her.

A contestant from season 9 of NBC's hit show "The Biggest Loser" is currently being treated in intensive care unit at a San Francisco hospital. According to TMZ, fan favorite Sam Poueu is listed in critical condition after falling several stories off a building last Saturday, September 3.

Details on what led to Sam's fall are somewhat scarce, but it is said that he suffered a pelvic injury, torn ligaments, a punctured lung, and a broken leg because of the accident. Despite the critical condition claim, TMZ did note that the 26-year-old is conscious and can still recognize visitors.

Charlie Sheen has landed his first big screen role since quitting hit TV series "Two and a Half Men". Variety reported that the 46-year-old troubled actor is set to star in an indie movie titled "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III".

Sheen, who reportedly will portray the titular character, is expected to play opposite Jason Schwartzman, who plays King Louis XVI in "Marie Antoinette". Meanwhile, Schwartzman's uncle Roman Coppola will serve behind the lens as well as pen the screenplay.

Ashton Kutcher bares all in front of Ellen DeGeneres. Coming as a guest for the new season premiere of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the husband of Demi Moore appears in his birthday suit after addressing an ad for "Two and a Half Men" which features him and co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones in the state of undressed.

"It's getting a lot of attention," the 33-year-old tells DeGeneres about the "Men" billboard in a segment taped for the September 12 episode of the talk show. "So I just figured I'm going to do everything nude from now on," he adds before dropping his robe.

Paramore gave their devotees a special treat when performing at New York's Terminal 5 on September 7. Hayley Williams and her two bandmates performed a never-before-heard song called "Renegade" during the Wednesday gig.

"This next song, we have never, ever, ever played before. And sometimes this happens and it goes wrong," the frontwoman said. "I just need you guys to have fun anyways. Jon Gosselin is giving his former spouse some tough love. Kate Gosselin has expressed concern for her financial future after her "Kate Plus 8" show was axed, but Jon apparently sees the cancellation as an opportunity for his ex-wife to get back to normal life.

During a recent interview with Rumor Fix, 34-year-old Jon stressed, "Reality TV is not a career." He went on to advise his 36-year-old ex to "get back to a normal life - a simple life," but reminded her to "provide for your family."

A couple of days ago, it was reported that Holly Durst and Blake Julian of "Bachelor Pad 2" were moving in together. On Thursday, September 8, it was announced that they are actually engaged to be married. Blake reportedly popped the question earlier this week.

Holly's relationship with Blake is a complicated one because her former fiance Michael Stagliano was also competing on her show as her partner. She used her power to vote off a contestant on Blake last week's episode but promised that it was not the end of them. Holly apparently was not only talking.

Lady GaGa has booked a New Year's gig. Ryan Seacrest announced on Thursday, September 8 that the "Judas" singer would be one of the performers on ABC's live "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve."

"One of the things we're doing for Dick celebrating his 40th year hosting the event is having Lady GaGa perform live in Times Square right before the ball drops," Seacrest said. This would be the first time that GaGa takes part at the December 31 event.
