Mel Gibson and his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva have reached the middle on the custody of their daughter Lucia. According to Los Angeles County Superior Court officials, the estranged couple has reached a deal in their long-running battle after several days of negotiations.

"As the result of a multiday settlement conference, the court announces that Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have achieved a settlement in their ongoing dispute," the court said in a statement. No details of the agreement are revealed but terms would be discussed at a hearing next week.

Martin Scorsese and William Monahan will join forces once again. Years after working together on 2006's "The Departed", the filmmaker duo are hired to bring a remake of "The Gambler" to the big screen. The former is being set to direct, while the latter is hired to pen the script.

Scorsese and Monahan will develop the movie for Paramount Pictures with Monahan having a double duty as producer. The Hollywood Reporter additionally reported that both of them have their eyes on their "Departed" star Leonardo DiCaprio for the lead role. It is noted, however, that no deal is in place for the actor.

The mystery surrounding Peter's existence still gets the highlight in a new promo for "Fringe" season 4. After questioning "where is Peter Bishop?", the latest teaser hints that the character might not even exist.

Not including any new footage, the video includes old scenes featuring Peter who keeps disappearing in front of Olivia. Meanwhile, a man is heard saying, "He served his purpose. He never existed."

Warner Bros. Pictures have set a release date for "The Lucky One". The drama starring "Hairspray" actor Zac Efron is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on August 24, 2012. The movie joins another WB film to be released in the same month next year, "Rivals".

In "The Lucky One", Efron plays Logan Thibault, a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq. He attributes his good fortune to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met. When he returns to North Carolina, he sets out to meet his good-luck charm.

Darren Hayes is dragged into the darkness in a music video for his new single "Black Out the Sun". The Aussie singer is standing in an empty deserted land with the dark cloud looming on the sky and black-hooded figures dancing behind him.

The song is about "not wanting to be in a world without love." He added, "[The] idea [is] that you could simply switch the sun off and the ground would turn to poison because all the things that made it beautiful were really in the reflection of the eyes of the person you've lost."

It doesn't take long for Minka Kelly to be linked to a new man. Shortly after news broke out that she and boyfriend Derek Jeter have called it quits, the 31-year-old actress is reported to have developed a "late-night friendship" with her "Charlie's Angels" co-star Ramon Rodriguez.

Dishing on the budding relationship, an on-set source told PEOPLE, "We have seen Minka and Ramon talking in his trailer way after hours, and often late into the night. Unfavorable weather forecast has caused several concert postponements including the live show featuring "American Idol" stars. The 11 contestants were originally set to perform in Albany on August 28, but were forced to move the gig back due to safety reasons.

The upcoming concert which is part of the "Idol" 2011 summer tour has been postponed until September 4, and is expected to take place at the same venue, Times Union Center. Ricky Gervais has been boasting that *he is considered to host the upcoming Academy Awards, but ABC says the otherwise. Putting the rumor to rest, the network denies that it has ever approached the creator of British "The Office" for the said duty.

Gervais made such claim when appearing at MediaGuardian Edinburgh International TV Festival on Friday, August 26. He said as quoted by U.K. newspaper The Guardian, "They said to my agent, Would he like to be on our list?' "

Teairra Mari channels her inner dark angel in a music video filmed for her song "That's All Me". The R&B singer wears a bejeweled swimsuit with wings in one scene, has her wrists tied in another, and brings her puppy in the other.

Hurricane Irene has affected the production of "One Tree Hill". The CW's series, which is currently filming the ninth and final season in Wilmington, North Carolina, has shut down the production for Friday and Saturday due to the weather scare.

"As a precautionary measure and in consideration of our cast and crew, 'One Tree Hill' production has shut down for today and tomorrow due to Hurricane Irene," a rep for the show explained in a statement. "We will continue to monitor the situation over the next few days."

A romantic honeymoon in Italy with new husband Kris Humphries apparently didn't prevent Kim Kardashian from missing something else. The star of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" recently took to her blog and revealed that she missed her blonde hair.

Zoe Saldana has added another film project on her schedule. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 33-year-old actress is set to star in an upcoming supernatural thriller by Paramount Pictures called "Dominion (2013)".

In the upcoming project, the Neytiri of "Avatar" is expected to play a half-human, half-angel character. However, the basic plot of the project, which is written by Dean McCreary and Chester Hastings, is still sketchy.

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are going to team up once again, this time for a small screen project. The good friends, who play a couple on "The Proposal", are expected to lend their voice to "And Then There Was Gordon", an animated comedy from Reynolds and Allan Loeb's production shingle, Dark Fire, and 20th Century Fox TV.

Bullock is additionally in talks to join Reynolds, Loeb, Steven Pearl and Jonathon Komack Martin as executive producers. The "Green Lantern" hunk, meanwhile, will write the script along with Loeb.

Halle Berry and her ex-lover Gabriel Aubry may soon be back on court in the custody battle over their 3-year-old daughter, Nahla. Her lawyer has asked a judge to hold Aubry in contempt for an alleged violation of the former couple's custody agreement.

Getting kicked out of a show has become more and more common for comedian Katt Williams. Three weeks ago he was thrown out of his own comedy show after getting too "belligerent" towards his crowd, and this week, he was kicked out from Young Jeezy's show in Phoenix for fighting inside the club.

The brawl which includes the club promoter and some other concertgoers was caught on tape and can be viewed on YouTube. It is unclear what started the fight but it appears that Williams did not hit anyone but himself. Sans his shirt, the comedian ran up and down the stage and beat his own chest at one point.
