Rascal Flatts Sued Over Tour Money

Executives at Turner Nichols & Associates filed suit against Rascal Flatts on Monday, April 11 claiming they should be paid 15 per cent commission for negotiating shows up until 2013.

The paperwork, filed at Davidson County Chancery Court in Nashville, Tennessee, alleges the bandmembers agreed to hand over monthly payments until the last shows in June 2013 but the installments stopped when they parted ways with the management firm in February. The lawsuit also seeks compensation for TV appearances and DVD deals which were allegedly set up by the company.

Krayzie Bone Quits Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Krayzie Bone - real name Anthony Henderson - helped found the group in the early 1990s and went on to enjoy years of success with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but he announced on Thursday, April 14 he will no longer be a part of the line-up.

He broke the news in a video message posted on YouTube and put his decision to leave down to "uncontrollable circumstances".

Good Charlotte's Gig Cancelled Over Terrorism Fears

Good Charlotte had been due to perform at a one-off show for Jack Daniel's whiskey, called The JD Set, on 22 April in Kuta, Bali - but guitarist Benji Madden claimed on April 11, it had been scrapped because of a scheduling problem.

They have now revealed the real reason behind the cancellation - organisers decided to move the show because of a terrorism alert issued by officials in Australia.

Francesca Annis Collapses During Photo Shoot

Veteran British actress Francesca Annis was tended to by medics on the set of a photo shoot on Wednesday, April 13, after fainting, according to a U.K. report. The "Cleopatra" star was being snapped by acclaimed photographer Rankin for U.K. pharmacy chain Boots in south London when she allegedly fell to the ground.

An ambulance was called to the set and Annis received treatment at the scene, according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper. A source tells the publication, "She was definitely a bit shaky once back on her feet. So much so that the entire shoot had to be rescheduled."

Tom Hanks to Adapt 'American Gods' for HBO Series

Still gearing up to premiere "Game of Thrones", HBO has already planned another project. Deadline reports the pay cabler has begun talks about acquiring rights to Neil Gaiman's novel "American Gods" to be developed into a new fantasy series.

Proposing the idea to HBO are Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, who have been teaming up under their production company Playtone. The project itself was first brought to the duo by Robert Richardson, who is going to write the pilot together along with Gaiman.

Jill Scott Debuts 'Shame' Music Video

ESSENCE Music Festival headliner Jill Scott has premiered a new funky music video for her latest single "Shame". It features some of her old friends making cameos, such as Eve who is featured on the track, and Black Thought from The Roots.

The video is reportedly directed by Devin Hampton and was shot in the Philadelphia neighborhood where Jill grew up. The location of the shoot is the Cecil B. Moore Recreation Center, where Jill spent her summers as a kid. When she heard the rec center was closing, Jill and her Blues Babe foundation paid for repairs on the center to keep it open.

Blue released their own video version of "I Can" which is their entry to Eurovision Song Contest 2011. BBC had, in March, released the promotional version in a bid to support the group as the representative of United Kingdom.

The video relies on close-up shots of the band's members with plain backgrounds. The theme is black and white, even the U.K. flag carried by the female dancers is made up of the two sole colors. Member Simon Webbe had an on-set mishap when filming the wet scene towards the end of the video.

'Real Steel' Sequel Ordered Before First Movie Hits Screen

Not bothering to go and see the result first, DreamWorks proves his confidence of "Real Steel" by summoning the process of a sequel. The action movie, starring Hugh Jackman, is not released in U.S. theaters until October 7 but Deadline heard that the studio asked scribe John Gatins to pen the second installment already.

Directed by Shawn Levy, "Real Steel" is an action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech. Jackman's Charlie Kenton is a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship robot contender.

About the 17-year-old singer's time on the beach, one eyewitness told the site, "Justin arrived at the beach with his two buddies and they were wading in the shallow water, having fun." The observer went on to dish, "Justin then took off his life jacket, walked over to the shower and rinsed the sand out of his swim suit."

The official line-up of 64th Cannes Film Festival was announced on Thursday, April 14. Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris", as previously reported, will kick off the event which is held between May 11 to 22. For Scottish director Ramsay, her school-shooting drama set in Connecticut is her first movie since 2002's "Morvern Callar". The film is set to compete against Pedro Almodovar's Spanish drama "La Piel que Habito" aka "The Skin I Live In" which reunites the director with Antonio Banderas. The actor takes the role of a plastic surgeon who tries to save the life of his wife by creating a new skin.

NATO Denies 'Deathly Hallows: Part II' Threat

NATO (National Association of Theatre Owners) shuts down the rumor saying that the organization will not screen movies by four major studios, Universal, Sony, Warner Bros and Fox. John Fithian, President and CEO of NATO, issued a statement on Thursday, April 14, to straighten up the report by saying that the organization does not have the capability to encourage its members to boycott films in Video-on-Demand dispute.

The statement read, "The National Association of Theatre Owners does not and could not encourage its members to engage in any boycotts of any movies distributed by any company. Recent press reports to the contrary are completely false."

The number of remaining TV soaps has just declined from six to four with the cancellation of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live". ABC ends the soap operas with the hope that two lifestyle shows that they have prepared as a replacement, "The Chew" and "The Revolution", would garner bigger rating at lower production cost. 'Vampire Diaries' 2.19 Preview: Klaus Tears Stefan and Damon Apart

Klaus is seriously threatening the relationships among "The Vampire Diaries" characters in the upcoming episode. After possessing Alaric, the oldest vampire in history will indirectly reignite a fight between Stefan and Damon as they disagree about how to protect Elena.

Stefan and Damon are furious when they discover that Elena has defied them both to make a new ally and take control of the plan to out-maneuver Klaus. Meanwhile, Stefan has his hands full trying to keep a confused and frightened Jenna safe.

When asked about him hitting on her during their Disney World trip with daughter Coco, Courteney went to share the serious stuff. "This is one of our problems in our relationship," she pointed out. "Whenever I would need consoling from David, he could not literally put his arm around me for one second without completely getting a boner."

The sci-fi movie revolves around Craig's Jake Lonergan, a stranger who is arrested as an outlaw. Later, he proves to the Absolution people that he is not a bad guy by helping the residents survive from marauders from the sky.

Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson paid "American Idol" a visit on Tuesday night, April 14. The "Umbrella" hitmaker brought her "California King Bed", while the winner of "Idol" season 1 returned to the stage of the singing competition with Jason Aldean for "Don't You Wanna Stay" duet.

Beside singing, RiRi also had a brief chat with host Ryan Seacrest. Talking about what she's preparing for her upcoming tour, she said, "Right now, we just designed the stage. I'm really not supposed to say this, but I want to get you excited. We're building two sections on the stage [for the fans. They'll be] closer than they've ever been. It's real VIP."

Things are getting complicated between Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. The company recently said the actor lied about their camp having discussions with him to talk about his future on "Two and a Half Men", and now Charlie's lawyer has fired back at WB.

Marty Singer who represents Charlie insists, "There have been discussions as late as Tuesday, and all parties have been involved - Warner Bros., CBS, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen." He tells TMZ the allegation that there were "no discussions" about Charlie returning to the CBS show are "absolutely false".

"The Lazy Song" is the third single from Bruno's critically-acclaimed debut studio album "Doo - Wops & Hooligans". Co-written by him with the help of K'naan and writing duo The Smeezingtons, it's currently sitting at No. 20 on Billboard Hot 100. Philip Lawrence, one of the Smeezingtons, appears making cameo in the music video.

Paul was in the bottom three with Haley Reinhart and Stefano Langone. Rihanna took the stage for a performance before the final result was announced. When Ryan Seacrest came back, he gave the bad news to Paul. As his last performance on the stage he delivered "Maggie Mae" which he sang when auditioning in Nashville, Tennessee.
