Rapper Petey Pablo pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen firearm during a hearing at a North Carolina court on Wednesday, March 16. The star, real name Moses Barrett III, handed himself in to authorities after a warrant for his arrest was put out in October 2010 in connection with an incident at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in September 2010.

Barrett was on his way to the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles when security officers allegedly found a gun in his carry-on luggage. He was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon and attempting to take the gun onto an airplane.

Actor Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is facing a lawsuit over allegations he assaulted a female worker at New York's JFK Airport last May 2010. The actor of "The Tudors" was banned from flying with United Airlines after allegedly launching a drunken tirade at staff following a vodka binge while waiting for his flight.

He headed to rehab shortly after the incident to battle his ongoing drink problems, but Meyers' alleged outburst has come back to haunt him after United Airlines customer service director Kathryn Williams filed suit against the star earlier in March.

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina has taken to the web to deny reports she is rehab bound following suggestions she is struggling with drug addiction.

The 18 year old, whose father is Bobby Brown, was embroiled in a drug scandal earlier this month, March 11, after pictures of her allegedly snorting cocaine at two separate parties were obtained by U.S. tabloid the National Enquirer.

Jay-Z's former rap protege Tru Life has been sentenced to eight years behind bars for his part in a fatal 2009 stabbing in New York. Tru Life, real name Roberto Rosado, Jr., who was once signed to Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records roster, pleaded guilty to gang assault following the death of Christopher Guerrero, who was killed in an attack at a Manhattan apartment building. A second man was left seriously injured.

The rapper's brother Marcus Rosado pleaded guilty to manslaughter and got his brother off a possible murder charge after admitting it was him, and not his sibling, who had stabbed both men. During sentencing in New York on Wednesday March 16, the judge handed Tru Life eight years in jail and his brother 10.

Lady GaGa's hit single "Born This Way" can't be played in Malaysian radios. The song which features such lyrics as "No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I'm on the right track, baby" is banned because it might violate "good taste or decency or (are) offensive to public feeling."

"The particular lyrics in 'Born This Way' may be considered as offensive when viewed against Malaysia's social and religious observances," AMP Radio Networks, Malaysia's top private radio operator, told The Associated Press. "The issue of being gay, lesbian or (bisexual) is still considered as a 'taboo' by general Malaysians."

Philip Seymour Hoffman is hoping to oversee a TV hit, the Oscar winner is developing a new series for U.S. network HBO. The "Capote" star is helming "Upstate", which will tell the story of Roy Perkins, who relocates his family to rural America to become a correctional prison officer after he is made redundant.

The actor will be executive producer on the show, which is made through his company, Cooper's Town Productions.

Reese Witherspoon will wed her agent fiance Jim Toth at sunset on her ranch in Ojai, California, according to new reports. The actress will exchange vows with the movie business executive on March 26 and Witherspoon will reportedly wear a Monique Lhuillier gown on her big day.

"The wedding will be in the early evening in one of the fields behind the house," a pal tells Us Weekly magazine. Another source added to the publication, "She's spending most of her time on that dress."

Sculptors at London's Madame Tussaud's museum faced a last-minute panic before unveiling Justin Bieber's waxwork on Tuesday, March 15, whether or not to change his model's hairstyle. Since sitting for the experts eight months ago, Bieber has drastically chopped his famously floppy hairstyle, leaving the wax artists with somewhat of a dilemma.

"As soon as we saw he'd cut it, it was a consideration," Madame Tussaud's sculptor Colin Jackman, who worked tirelessly on the model which Bieber himself unveiled in London, says. "We got on to his stylist and him and we all decided that they wanted the classic Bieber cut."

Johnny Whitworth has spilled an important detail of "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance". In an interview with AMC Theaters to promote his upcoming movie "Limitless", the actor reveals that he plays Blackout who will be Johnny Blaze's nemesis in the "Ghost Rider" sequel.

"I play the villian who, at the beginning, up until like page 70, is human," Whitworth says. "I'm not a very nice guy. I'm bad. I get turned into, for those who read 'Ghost Rider', the character Blackout. I get turned into him by the devil to complete my job. That gives me the fortitude to fight Ghost Rider and the supernatural abilities to compete on some level with that guy."

Police officials have closed an investigation into allegations Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches Geldof stole a dress from a London store due to "insufficient evidence". The TV personality and columnist was accused of walking into a vintage retailer in Camden and swiping a $105 dress from the rails earlier in March.

A spokesperson for London's Metropolitan Police confirmed officers were investigating the claims, while the star's representative strenuously denied the allegations. Now the publicist has revealed police have contacted the star to say the case is closed and she won't be questioned.

Surfer dude-turned-singer-and-songwriter Jack Johnson has donated $50,000 to GlobalGiving's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund after escaping the chaos in the Far East. The "To The Sea" hitmaker was in Osaka, Japan, preparing for a concert in the city, when the quake hit last week, March 11.

Feeling helpless as he watched TV images of the devastation, Johnson and his band decided to go ahead with the show and then canceled the rest of their Japanese tour. A post on Johnson's website reads, "The concert in Osaka took place as scheduled hours after the massive earthquake, as television images of the powerful tsunami began streaming in, revealing the magnitude of the devastation."

Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene are no longer an item. Sources have confirmed to Just Jared that the middle member of Jonas Brothers and the Alice Cullen of the "Twilight Saga" series, who have been together since summer of 2010, have parted ways weeks ago, but they have managed to keep their break-up away from the spotlight.

New York Post's Page Six previously broke news of the break-up, citing one source as informing that the split "was mutual and amicable". As for the reason behind the couple's decision to end their romance, the source noted that the twosome have drifted apart because of their work schedules.

Legendary British dance act Faithless have split after 15 years. The trio, Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo Armstrong, formed in 1995 and went on to rule the club scene in Europe with massive hits including "Insomnia" and "We Come 1".

Keyboard player Sister Bliss recently hinted the bandmates had become "jaded" by their lengthy tours, and now Maxi has confirmed that the group has split. Following a red band teaser trailer which was premiered last year, the first full trailer for "Friends with Benefits" has been debuted by Sony Pictures. It opens with a preview to the scenes where Justin Timberlake's and Mila Kunis' characters are breaking up with their respective lovers. The trailer later shows what makes the twosome grow closer.

Winners of 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards have been announced at a live event in Austin, Texas, during South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival on March 16. Kanye West won Left Field Woodie, beating Die Antwoord, Lil B, Yelawolf and Das Racist.

Embattled celebrity physician Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers are out to prove Michael Jackson was responsible for his own death after requesting fingerprint evidence to support allegations the King of Pop injected himself with the drug that killed him.

The medic stands accused of administering the fatal dose of Propofol which led to Jackson's death in June 2009 and is due to face trial in May. He has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter and his lawyers are now set to argue Murray wasn't even holding the needle when he was said to have injected his most famous client with the drug, according to TMZ.

"Glee" star Jane Lynch has "Happy Days" actor Anson Williams to partly thank for her first taste of showbusiness failure, because "stupid" advice he gave to her when she was 13 actually paid off.

A U.S. army bomb disposal expert has signed off on his legal battle with the producers of Oscar-winning movie "The Hurt Locker" while serving in Afghanistan. Master Sergeant Jeffrey Sarver alleges the movie's lead character, played by Jeremy Renner, is based on him but he was given no credit or compensation from the filmmakers, and now he's regularly ridiculed by colleagues.

He originally filed suit in his native New Jersey in 2010 on the eve of the 2010 Academy Awards, naming director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal as defendants. Earlier in 2011, they launched a motion to dismiss Sarver's lawsuit, alleging he was interfering with their right to free speech.

Elizabeth Taylor's eighth ex-husband is facing eviction from his California home after the ailing actress reportedly turned down his appeal for financial help. The Foo Fighters celebrated the premiere of their new documentary at Texas' South By Southwest festival by hitting the stage for a surprise performance on Tuesday, March 15, and playing their upcoming album in its entirety. Oscar-winning director James Moll charted the band's formation and rise to fame in the film "Foo Fighters: Back and Forth", and it was screened for the first time at the annual music and arts conference in Austin this week.

Actor Matthew McConaughey is striving to turn his old journals into digital documents so he can relive the memories of his past for the rest of his life. The "Sahara" star kept diaries of his rise to fame, but he fears the browning pieces of paper will eventually become too tattered to read.

"I write a lot," he tells People magazine. "I have handwritten journals stacked four feet high from over the years. I try to take a week off every year to go through them and transfer them to disk on a computer."

Megan Fox is likely to make a return to big budget Hollywood movie with "Knocked Up" spin-off. The 24-year-old beauty who parted ways with "Transformers" film franchise last year is said to be in talks to star in the untitled Judd Apatow project.

A next directing vehicle for Apatow, the movie will reunite Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann who will reprise their "Knocked Up" roles as Pete and Debbie respectively. Fox's role, meanwhile, is still kept under wraps, so The Hollywood Reporter says.

TV veteran Judith Light has congratulated her former "Who's the Boss?" co-star Alyssa Milano on her pregnancy news, insisting the actress will make "an amazing mother". Actress Jodie Foster stands by Mel Gibson despite his legal woes, confessing she will love the troubled star for the rest of her life. Foster, who directed Gibson in new movie "The Beaver", admits she has a soft spot for the embattled actor and finds it easy to forgive him when he screws up and hits the headlines.

CBS has released the promo of "How I Met Your Mother" episode where Barney finally says, "Dad!". In "Legendaddy", when Barney finally meets his father, he's surprised to learn how his life turned out. Meanwhile, the gang points out each other's "gaps," something they should know by adulthood but never learned.

John Lithgow has made a transition from being a serial killer on "Dexter" to Barney's father on this sitcom. "It just seemed like a wonderful thing to do as a counterpoint to 'Dexter'," Lithgow told Zap2It. " 'Dexter' still resonates and hangs in the air. I thought it would be a great idea to do a lark-y thing like this."

Katy Perry's family secrets are to be exposed in a new book, written by her mother. The "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker's parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, are Christian evangelists and ensured their daughter had a strict religious upbringing.

Universal Pictures has dropped the first trailer for "Larry Crowne" which pairs up Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Debuted via Yahoo! Movies, the video follows the titular character but does not really explain where the story will take Larry to. It, however, manages to share some romantic scenes involving the two lead stars including the one which sees them kissing.

Hanks plays Larry Crowne who was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he's worked since his time in the Navy until he is fired. Underwater on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over.

After not releasing a new album for more than three years, Lupe Fiasco has now made a comeback with a grand entry on Billboard Hot 200. The rapper debuts at the first position on the U.S. albums chart, dethroning last week's champ Adele.

Lupe rules the chart with his third studio album "Lasers" which has sold 204,000 copies in its opening week. It becomes his highest-charting album and best sales week so far. His previous efforts "Food and Liquor" and "The Cool" peaked at No. 8 and No. 15 in 2006 and 2007 respectively.

Ne-Yo has blamed low sales of his latest album "Libra Scale" on his decision to focus on movie-style promos rather than the music, insisting the project was largely misunderstood. The disc has sold just 277,000 copies since its release in November 2010, and singles including "Beautiful Monster" and "Champagne Life" both failed to scrape into the top 40 on America's Billboard chart.

The R&B singer admits he spent too much time working on creating a movie-style concept for the record, and he's convinced many of his fans were confused by the project. He tells the Associated Press, "I didn't get to pay as much attention to the music as I normally would because I was so focused on the story line that the album is based off of."

More than a week after enjoying a dinner date in Vancouver, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been spotted going out together again. The two leading stars of the "Twilight Saga" series have been busy filming "Breaking Dawn" in Squamish, British Columbia, but they managed to spare some time to hit up a local theater.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have asked their wedding guests to donate money to good causes instead of buying them gifts, with some of the cash earmarked for survivors of the New Zealand earthquake. The couple is due to exchange vows in London on April 29 and ahead of the ceremony, they have urged guests not to buy them gifts.

They have asked instead for donations to be made to a charitable fund, which will distribute the money to their favorite good causes, including New Zealand's Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, founded in the aftermath of February massive tremor, which left more than 160 people dead. William is due to visit the region later this week.

Julianne Moore is facing some fierce opposition as she prepares to play Sarah Palin on the big screen, the former Alaska Governor has condemned the movie plans and accused Hollywood bosses of exploiting her story for financial gain.

Moore is set to play the politician in upcoming film "Game Change", based on John Heilemann and Mark Halperin's book of the same name, which chronicles John McCain's failed 2008 presidential run. The Arizona Senator picked Palin as his running mate to go up against eventual winners Barack Obama and Joe Biden, in a move which many critics believe cost McCain the top job in the White House.

"American Idol" Top 12 sang the songs from the year they were born. Naima Adepapo, born 1984, was the first to take the stage, selecting a rather bold song by Aretha Franklin. Her rendition of "What's Love Got to Do With It" was loved by Steven Tyler but deemed pitchy by Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson.

Kelly Clarkson has issued an apology to her fans after announcing her highly-anticipated next album won't be out until September. The "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker has been busy working on her fifth studio album, the follow-up to 2009's "All I Ever Wanted", and finished the songs in December 2010.

But Clarkson's fans will have to wait a little longer to hear her new material after label bosses at RCA Records told the singer September would be the best month to launch the record. In a post on her Facebook page, she writes, "I recently found out that my album won't be coming out until September... the album has been recorded but I can't release it until then."

Clint Eastwood has offered to donate money from the DVD sales of his latest movie "Hereafter (2010)" to help aid efforts in Japan, just days after the film was pulled from cinemas in the country due to its tsunami scenes.

The veteran actor-director's latest film, starring Matt Damon, was removed from movie theaters in Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tidal wave which devastated the country's east coast last Friday, March 11.

Host David Letterman brought up the romance subject as he held up a photo of the 18-year-old and Justin at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on February 27.
