The first official domestic trailer for "Paul" has made its way out via Apple. It basically has the same premise to the international trailers, but new one has more action scenes. It also clearly highlights the alien's ability to go invisible beside resurrecting a dead animal.

This Greg Mottola-directed movie follows two sci-fi geeks, Graeme Willy and Clive Collings, who meet an alien named Paul who later hitches a ride with them. Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. And as two nerds struggle to help, one little green man might just take his fellow outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes.

On late Thursday, January 7, Kanye West tweeted an artwork of his upcoming duet track with Jay-Z. Designed by the creative director of Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci, the cover art bears images of animals and king crowns.

The soon-to-be-released single is called "H.A.M" and set to make its way out next week on January 11. It reportedly serves as the lead single from the duo's joint effort "Watch the Throne" which is simply written as a "coming soon" offering.

Pop star Mika spent the Christmas holidays in hospital keeping a bedside vigil for his sister, who is still recovering following a freak accident in October. The "Grace Kelly" hitmaker's sibling, Paloma Penniman, fell 50 feet (15 meters) from a window at her home in Kensington, West London and landed on a metal rail.

Her legs were impaled on the rail's spikes, with one entering her abdomen. Firefighters cut her free and a helicopter response team flew her to the Royal London Hospital, where she has been ever since. And Mika and his family ensured Penniman didn't miss out on the festivities by spending Christmas Day at her bedside.

Celine Dion suffered mood swings, fatigue and a loss of appetite following the birth of her twins last year. The pop star welcomed little Nelson and Eddy at a hospital in Florida in October 2010 after a long struggle to conceive with her husband Rene Angelil.

The "My Heart Will Go On" hitmaker admits she was overjoyed to be a mother again, but she suffered a number of worrying symptoms after the birth - and she's glad her own mum Therese was around to reassure her. She tells French magazine Gala, "Some of the first days after I came home, I was a little outside myself. I had no appetite and that bothered me. My mother remarked that she noticed I had moments of lifelessness, but reassured me that this was entirely normal."

The executors of Michael Jackson's estate have begun legal proceedings to force Alejandra Jackson and her children to move out of the family mansion. Jackson matriarch Katherine previously asked her former daughter-in-law, who has two sons by ex-husband Jermaine Jackson and another two kids with Randy Jackson, to leave the Hayvenhurst estate in Encino, California.

But Alejandra refused to relocate with the children - and now estate co-executors John Branca and John McClain have filed legal papers asking a judge to order her out of the property. The papers, filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, January 6, state that Alejandra and her kids are not beneficiaries of the King of Pop's will and therefore have no claim to the house, reports TMZ.com.

Filmmaker Martha Fiennes has split from her longterm partner, cinematographer George Tiffin, after over 20 years together. The Onegin director, who is the sister of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes, has three children with Tiffin - including son, Hero, who starred in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", and daughter, Mercy, who starred alongside Keira Knightley in "The Duchess".

Last year, Fiennes admitted she "would love to get married", but Tiffin was strongly against the idea. Now the pair has split - and Fiennes is already dating again.

A plagiarism lawsuit against "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling has been dismissed by a U.S. federal judge. Representatives for the estate of late fantasy writer Adrian Jacobs filed suit in America in 2009, alleging the author approached Rowling's U.K. publishers Bloomsbury in 1987, 10 years before his death, and unsuccessfully attempted to sell them his "Willy the Wizard" stories.

In court papers estate administrators accused Rowling of copying parts of the plot of his book, including a wizard contest and wizards traveling by train, for her 2000 novel "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". But New York Judge Shira Scheindlin threw out the case on Thursday, January 6, writing in a 49-page ruling that there are major differences between the stories.

A man who grappled with Paris Hilton's security team when he was caught outside her Los Angeles home late last year has been sentenced to community service. James Rainford had to be physically restrained by the socialite's bodyguards after he knocked on the star's front door in October 2010.

Cops were called to Hilton's mansion, and Rainford was taken into custody for questioning. He pleaded no contest to civil assault and was sentenced to 20 days of community service earlier this week.

After addressing her alleged failed solo career, Hayley Williams talked about Paramore's "Brand New Eyes" which Josh Farro claimed to have led them "all growing further apart" instead of getting closer. She admitted "majority" of the album is about the guitarist that she once dated.

"I would say that a large majority of those songs, yes, have to do with the relationship we had and then that we had to mend," she told MTV. Incarcerated rapper T.I.'s wife has been handed some good news - the drug possession case against her has been dismissed. Tameka Cottle aka Tiny and the hitmaker were arrested after traffic cops searched their car on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood last September, and found drugs.

The husband and wife were booked for possession of a controlled substance - a charge which violated T.I.'s probation and sent him back to prison. But Los Angeles County District Attorney's officials have dropped the case against Cottle after she completed 24 sessions of a certified drug diversion program in Georgia, Atlanta.

Michael Jackson's physician has been accused of wasting time texting and making cellphone calls before contacting emergency services after finding the King of Pop unconscious in his bedroom in the third day of a hearing into the details surrounding the pop superstar's death.

Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges, is trying to avoid a court trial - but evidence is beginning to pile up against him. Following testimony from bodyguards and aides - suggesting the doctor acted inappropriately in the minutes after Jackson's death in June, 2009 - Murray's cellphone records were presented to the court on Thursday, January 6 by prosecutors.

So great is the influence of "The Social Network" this year that upcoming Critics' Choice Movie Awards will use it in its promo. The movie is getting spoofed by "Jackass" cast in one of four parodies of the Critics' Choice nominees for Best Picture.

Aretha Franklin has spoken out about her recent health crisis, insisting "the problem has been resolved". The soul star was forced to pull out of a series of end-of-year shows in 2010 after falling ill, with many outlets reporting she had been diagnosed with deadly pancreatic cancer.

The 68 year old "R.E.S.P.E.C.T" singer is refusing to go into details about what was wrong - but insists she's fine now. Reformed pop stars Take That have officially claimed 2010 as their year - they've been named the most popular live act in the U.K. ahead of Kings of Leon and Lady GaGa. The group's latest record, "Progress", has proved to be a big hit following their reunion with Robbie Williams, who quit the band in 1995, and the disc has dominated Britain's album chart since its release in November 2010.

TV star Lucy Lawless insists her husband has no problems with her full frontal nudity and explicit sex scenes in racy drama "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" - because he's a producer of the show. Actor/singer Jamie Foxx has cried foul following a recent run-in with Los Angeles police, because he is convinced he was a victim of racial profiling. The African American Oscar winner admits he's regularly pulled over by cops while driving through the city, most recently near his home in the affluent Westlake area.

And he insists it's because of the color of his skin. Foxx says, "I get pulled over all the time. I live in Westlake. A black man in Westlake? That's just don't happen. I got pulled over the other day for being black and happy. 'What's all that smiling about? You're smiling back there.' I was guilty."

Lindsay Lohan's life after rehab is proving to be a bumpy ride - the car she was traveling in was rear-ended by a paparazzo as she left a Hollywood shopping center on Tuesday , January 4. Veteran actor Robert De Niro will head the jury at this year's Cannes International Film Festival. Cannes organizers announced on Thursday, January 6 the "Raging Bull" star will serve as the chairman of the festival's competition jury, which will select the winner of top awards, including the prestigious Palme d'Or.

The 64th annual event is expected to feature new work from Pedro Almodovar ("The Skin That I Inhabit") and Lars Von Trier ("Melancholia"), as well as Terrence Malick's "The Tree of Life", although official film selections have yet to be announced.

Hollywood actor and activist Sean Penn is to be honored for his charity work in Haiti by the Producers Guild of America. The Oscar winner co-founded the J/P HRO Haitian Relief Organization in the wake of the January 2010 earthquake and has spent months in the Caribbean nation helping to distribute food and medical supplies, as well as build schools and hospitals.

He has also set up a campsite in the country's capital, Port-au-Prince, to help provide temporary housing for an estimated 50,000 survivors left homeless by the tremors. Penn was made a knight in Haiti in July 2010 and was also honored with last year's Hollywood Humanitarian Award - and now his tireless charity work has landed him another accolade, the Producers Guild's 2011 Stanley Kramer Award.

Anna Nicole Smith's lover and lawyer Howard K. Stern has been spared jail time after he was found guilty of conspiring to use a false name to supply drugs to the tragic actress/model last year. In court on Thursday, January 6, Los Angeles judge Robert Perry declared there was no evidence to suggest Stern intended to break the law and set aside a conviction.

Perry also set aside several felony convictions against doctor Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who was charged for her role in the death of Anna Nicole Smith in 2007. He reduced her conviction to a misdemeanor and ordered her to serve probation, as well as fining her $100.

Acting legend Sir Michael Caine has been made a Commander of Arts and Letters in France after receiving the country's highest cultural honor on Thursday, January 6. Katy Perry is the latest pop star who has signed up to make an appearance on hit U.S. comedy "How I Met Your Mother". The "California Gurls" singer will make her sitcom debut playing a "beautiful and naive" girl who is given the nickname Honey.

In a release, series co-creator Carter Bays said of his guest star, "Katy is a tremendous talent, and we are delighted to be able to work with her." The episode would be called "Oh Honey" but its release date is still unknown. According to CBS, Honey is the cousin of Jennifer Morrison's Zoey and "the gang resorts to calling [her] 'Honey'."

Country music legend George Jones has been hospitalized in Nashville, Tennessee after an annual medical check-up sparked concerns for his health. The 79-year-old singer/songwriter was undergoing a regular examination on Wednesday, January 5 when doctors decided to admit him to hospital and keep him in overnight.

A statement from Jones' publicist reads, "On Wednesday, January 5th 2011, George Jones underwent an annual routine health check-up. Although Mr. Jones is staying overnight in a Nashville hospital, he is resting and will be released tomorrow."

"Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" is still in production and Nicolas Cage wants to convince people that the film will not let us down. In a new interview, the depicter of Johnny Blaze says this follow-up to 2007 "Ghost Rider" will be different from the predecessor.

"(It's going to be) very different. A completely new experience and that's how the directors choose to see it," he promises. The lead actor further reveals that filmmakers will put out a new take on the character's origin story which leads to a speculation of reboot story, saying "I mean there's even a new origin sequence."

A new tidbit about Justin Bieber's next studio installment is brought forward by none other than his own manager Scooter Braun. In an interview with MTV, the talent scouter revealed Drake and Kanye West are among his A-list featured guests.

"Yes, Justin is working on new music," the manager confirmed. "He's been talking to Drake about new music. [Bieber] and Kanye had a call today about a song they're trying to work on together. Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for the new album."

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has revealed his secret shame - he lost his virginity to a babysitter at the age of 11. Johnny Depp has vowed to bring a "freshness" to the next installment of the "Pirate of the Caribbean" franchise, after admitting the last two movies were confusing. The actor is reprising his famous role of swashbuckler Captain Jack Sparrow in the upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", which Depp insists features a less convoluted plot than its predecessors.

He tells Britain's Empire magazine, "The things with Pirates 4, I felt like we owed it to people... You know? Pirates 2 and 3 became quite... sub-plotty (sic). The mathematics of it. All these people went to see them two or three times just to figure out what was happening. This one is a little closer in tone to the first: more character driven... more subject driven. Mischa Barton had a brush with the law in London on Wednesday, January 5 night after cops spotted the actress and her boyfriend allegedly throwing items out of a cab. The officers were spotted talking to the cab driver before allowing the actress and her boyfriend to continue on their way, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Unfortunately paparazzi were there to capture the moment before they board the cab and after the arrest.

After teasing through a partial trailer, Warner Bros. Pictures has now released an international full trailer for "The Ward" from acclaimed horror filmmaker John Carpenter. The first half of the newly-released video is the same to the one seen before while the later part has more intense scenes which include some appearances of a mysterious figure or what is believed to be a ghost by Amber Heard's Kristen.

Actress Jaime Pressly has been arrested on suspicion of DUI. The "My Name Is Earl" star was driving through Santa Monica, California on Wednesday, January 5 night when cops pulled over her car on suspicion of a traffic violation.

She was subjected to a field sobriety test before being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to TMZ.com. Pressly was reportedly booked into the Santa Monica jail and held on $15,000 bail in DUI cases when the BAC is measured at higher than 0.15. The legal limit is 0.08.

A spokesperson for Ronnie Wood has dismissed reports The Rolling Stones star has secretly married his girlfriend during a sunny holiday in South America. The veteran guitarist sparked speculation he had wed his Brazilian lover Ana Araujo after he was photographed wearing a ring inscribed with the word 'Yes' on his marital finger while vacationing in Uruguay.

But it appears the couple has yet to exchange vows. Wood's representative tells Britain's Daily Star, "If he has got married he hasn't told us, and that wouldn't be like Ronnie at all." The rocker divorced his wife of 24 years, Jo, in 2010.

Incarcerated rapper T.I. is in trouble again - the hip-hop star has been banished to a secure special housing unit after he was caught canoodling with his wife during a prison visit. The "Live Your Life" hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., has been in and out of jail over the past year and is currently serving an 11-month sentence in Arkansas for violating his probation following a drug arrest in September.

And the star is failing to keep out of trouble while behind bars - his visiting time with wife Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle over the weekend was cut short after prison officers found them getting "frisky" in a visiting room. Cottle tells TMZ.com that Harris was reprimanded and sent to a new housing wing, which is more secure and offers inmates less freedom.

Kanye West is facing a lawsuit from a photographer who alleges the rapper and his security team "assaulted" and "threatened" him in 2008. Snapper Michael Vazquez has filed court papers in New York alleging he was the victim of a vicious attack after he was hired to film and photograph a party for Casio G-Shock watches at the Guastavino's venue in New York City in May, 2008.

Vazquez claims West, who performed at the event, along with up to 10 unnamed members of his entourage "assaulted, battered, beat and threatened" him. The lawsuit reads, "The actions by defendants Kanye West's agents, servants and/or employees was committed with malice... (and) caused plaintiff to suffer injuries."

David Arquette was prompted to check into rehab after a drunken dancefloor fall left him with a bloody nose, according to a U.S. report. The actor, who split from wife Courteney Cox in October, entered the Betty Ford clinic in California over the New Year weekend to tackle his alcohol and depression issues.

Arquette had been seen out partying on numerous occasions after his separation from Cox, and a new report suggests his decision to tackle his problems came following a painful fall at Los Angeles' Trousdale nightclub shortly after Christmas 2010.

Prince Frederic von Anhalt is involuntarily put in a difficult position as he has to make a life-and-death decision. His wife Zsa Zsa Gabor's left leg is badly infected because of a blood clot and Anhalt is told to make a decision whether to amputate the leg or let drugs do their wonder by Friday, January 7.

If Anhalt chooses to have the operation, then the 93-year-old actress has only a 50% chance to survive considering her age and the power of the anesthesia. The docs said operating Gabor is "very risky" but it would add a few years of life if successful. On the other hand, Anhalt could continue the antibiotics treatment for the next 3 months but the medication may have a bad effect on her kidneys.

MGM and Warner Bros. have reached a deal that gives WB the rights to handle international theatrical and video distribution on "The Hobbit". MGM will retain international television licensing for the movie, which is split into two parts. Words are, WB pays the entire cost of the project which has a price-tag expected to exceed $500 million.

In related news, Deadline Hollywood talks about "Lord of the Rings" cast who would appear in "The Hobbit". In addition to Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis and Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood is now reported to join Peter Jackson's adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and reprise his role as Frodo.
