Confirmed: Cee-Lo and Gwyneth Paltrow Record New Version of 'F**k You'

Hot on the heels of their announcement as "Saturday Night Live" guests, Cee-Lo and Gwyneth Paltrow are confirmed to have recorded a new version of his viral hit single "F**k You". The Gnarls Barkley star praised her, "She sings like a natural."

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cee-Lo and the "Country Strong" movie beauty laid the revamped version over the weekend in a studio in New York. The track might be debuted during their visit to "SNL" although there is no official word about that just yet.

Gemma Arterton is going to bring to life one of famous children fairytales. The 24-year-old actress has been cast as Gretel in "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters". Diane Kruger, Eva Green and Noomi Rapace were named as possible depicter of the main female character, but Arterton eventually wins the part.

Arterton is likely to star opposite Jeremy Renner who has been reported to portray her Gretel's brother, Hansel. However, The Hollywood Reporter says that scheduling has been an issue since "The Hurt Locker" actor has only eight weeks break between "Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol" production and "The Avengers" principal photography.

Sean Kingston Honored With Animal Rights Award

Sean Kingston has been rewarded for his animal rights work - the singer has been named the Most Animal-Friendly Hip-Hop Artist of 2010. The "Beautiful Girls" hitmaker showed his softer side by supporting People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in its anti-chaining dog awareness drive, which discouraged owners from leaving their pets tethered up outside.

Now Kingston has picked up a trophy for his efforts at the Libby Awards, which is sponsored by peta2, the world's largest youth animal rights organization. Peta2 director Dan Shannon tells AllHipHop.com, "When it comes to fighting animal abuse, peta2 and today's hottest music stars are in perfect harmony... Sean Kingston has let dog guardians know that life on the end of a chain for a dog is no life at all."

Paul McCartney Gets Support From Hindus in Indian Vegetarian Day Bid

Sir Paul McCartney has won the support of the world's leading Hindu organization as he attempts to turn India vegetarian for a day. In a letter to the nation's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the former Beatle, a devout non-meat eater, urged him to declare a day for vegetarianism in a bid to save animals.

And Hindus are backing McCartney. Statesman Rajan Zed, who represents the Universal Society of Hinduism, tells WENN, "We, as Hindus, promote strict vegetarianism insisting on not harming living creatures and renouncing animal slaughter and meat eating."

In the commercial, Michele says, "Imagine for a moment that you're forced to do hard physical labor all day, seven days a week, whether it's sweltering hot or freezing cold outside. At the end of the day, instead of relaxing on an easy chair or sleeping in a comfortable bed, you're locked in a tiny closet all night long. That's what it's like for horses who are forced to pull carriages in New York City."

American talk show host Montel Williams has been cited for possessing drug paraphernalia after a pipe was discovered in his luggage at an airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The TV personality, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and is a medical marijuana activist, was at a security checkpoint at the General Mitchell International Airport on Tuesday, January 4 when staff found a pipe commonly associated with smoking pot.

The host paid a $484 citation before being released to continue his journey, according to the Milwaukee County sheriff's office.

She was offered to jump into the "127 Hours" soundtrack when she was with him in the studio working on "something else." The secret project was quickly speculated as a material for his upcoming studio effort.

A mystery cream Michael Jackson was using at the time of his death in June 2009 has become a big issue as a preliminary hearing into the King of Pop's passing gets underway in Los Angeles. The singer's personal assistant Michael Amir Williams took the stand in court on Tuesday, January 4 and recalled what went down between himself and Dr. Conrad Murray after Jackson went into cardiac arrest after an overdose of anaesthetic Propofol and died.

Williams told the court Murray called him to the pop star's mansion telling him Jackson had had "a bad reaction". He then accompanied Murray to the hospital, where Jackson was pronounced dead. Williams recalled telling the King of Pop's children that their father had died, but it was a strange request from the physician that caught the court's attention on Tuesday.

Pink Floyd Settle Dispute With EMI

Pink Floyd have put their legal dispute with EMI bosses firmly behind them - they've signed a new contract with the label. The "Comfortably Numb" hitmakers have inked a five-year deal with executives at the firm, who first signed the band in the 1960s. A statement from EMI reads: "All legal disputes between the band and the company have been settled as a result of this new deal."

The agreement comes one month after a judge ruled EMI bosses breached a previous deal by selling single Pink Floyd tracks online. The band had argued that their "seamless" albums should not be split up to be sold on the internet, while EMI claimed the previous contract had been drawn up before the digital era and didn't outline regulations for online distribution.

T.V. Carpio Replaces Quitting Broadway 'Spider-Man' Actress

"Across the Universe" star T.V. Carpio is set to replace injured actress Natalie Mendoza in the beleaguered "Spider-Man" musical. Mendoza quit her role as villainess Arachne in "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" last week, a month after she was injured in an onstage accident which saw her hit on the head with a weighted rope.

The actress subsequently suffered nausea and headaches and took time off before quitting the troubled Broadway show altogether. Director Julie Taymor has now announced Carpio as her official replacement and the actress will take Mendoza 's place in the show on Tuesday, January 4 night.

The troubled actress was reportedly released from rehab on Monday, January 3 after completing three months of court-ordered treatment for violating her probation relating to a 2007 DUI conviction.

Lohan's rehab stint was mired in controversy last month after an employee at the Betty Ford Center claimed to have been hurt in a clash with the actress. Dawn Holland, who was later dismissed for talking to the press, alleged Lohan had been drinking and lashed out when she was caught sneaking back in to the clinic after her curfew.

Japan star Mick Karn has lost his battle with cancer at his home in London. The bass player was 52. Karn, real name Andonis Michaelides, announced he had been diagnosed with the disease at the beginning of June 2010, telling fans on his website that the security and well-being of his wife and young son are now his top priority.

A statement posted on his website on Tuesday, January 4 confirmed Karn "was surrounded by his family and friends" at the time of his death. Born in Cyprus, Karn was a big part of the U.K.'s new wave movement in the early 1980s. As well as becoming a member of "Quiet Life" hitmakers Japan, he also worked with Gary Numan and Kate Bush and founded Dalis Car in the mid-1980s with Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy.

'Baker Street' Singer Gerry Rafferty Died Due to Liver Failure

Gerry Rafferty, the man behind hits like "Stuck in the Middle with You" and "Baker Street", has died, aged 63. The Scottish musician passed away from liver failure on Tuesday, January 4 after a long battle with alcoholism. Rafferty fell ill in November 2010 and was hooked up to a life-support machine after he was admitted to hospital.

His family members were told he had little chance of survival, but his health improved slightly over Christmas, and Rafferty died at his home with his daughter, Martha, by his bedside. The singer began his career as a busker, before forming folk group the Humblebums with comedian Billy Connolly. He rose to fame in the 1970s with Stealers Wheel and enjoyed solo success when the group disbanded in 1975.

'Distraught' Glenn Close Calls Raunchy Navy Video 'Offensive'

Glenn Close is offended when finding out that her image is misused in a raunchy video made by Navy Captain Owen Honors who was eventually relieved of his service on aircraft carrier USS Enterprise on Tuesday, January 4. She released a statement to clarify that it used to be a "seemingly innocent request".

The video made by Honors was shot aboard the carrier in 2006 and 2007 while he was second in command. It contains several attempts at humor but it includes as well homophobic remarks, simulated masturbation and partial nudity. Close appears at the very end of the video with a stuffed parrot after a shot of condoms and lube.

New set pictures of untitled Spider-Man reboot have emerged as the movie is currently in production, giving the first look at Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. Unlike his co-star Emma Stone who dyes her hair blonde to portray Gwen Stacy, the lead actor does not undergo significant physical transformation. He is only seen sporting a messy hair style.

During the filming at a Los Angeles High School on Tuesday, January 4, he was joined by Stone. Donning winter outfits, the two sat on the bleachers of a football stadium while shooting scenes for the movie. They were additionally seen filming a kissing scene.
