'Glee' Star Heather Morris Is Indeed Considered for 'Buffy'

Heather Morris is apparently still circling "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Despite the fact that screenwriter Whit Anderson had debunked a previous news linking her to the reboot project of the 1992 film, the actress herself confirmed that she is being considered for the movie.

"They're considering me!" she told Access Hollywood when met at an event for FLIRT cosmetics, for which Morris is a paid spokesperson, in Los Angeles on Thursday, Decemeber 16. She further shared, "I found out and I almost peed my pants 'cause I was so excited!"

It turns out that Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj were once teammates despite their current girl fight. In a radio interview with Angie Martinez, Kim revealed that she didn't consider Minaj as her rival when she first came out, but rather saw her as her way to make a comeback.

"A lot of people might not know this, but me and [Cash Money co-CEO] Slim were very good friends," she dished. "Very good friends for four or five years. My thing is this: I haven't been doing music like that for a second and I looked at her buzz as a way in for me. I'm like, 'OK, this is a good thing. This a way for me to kind of come back in'."

New Posters for 'Thor' and 'Battle: Los Angeles' Are Devious

In separate efforts to promote "Thor" and "Battle: Los Angeles", a new poster has been released for each film. The one for the superhero movie is made by artist Olly Moss for cast and crew of the flick, with only 100 printed editions available. It features scraps of some photos which are arranged to form a hammer, which is Thor's weapon.

The teaser poster for "Battle: Los Angeles" is also devious in the theme. It shows some explosions in the air, while below several people are seen soaking in the water. Their faces and expressions are barely seen with the image's darker tone. This one-sheet is debuted exclusively via Coming Soon.

A source "close to the couple" tells E! Online that "There's nothing dramatic going on between the two, but they've been spending a lot less time together these days." Kemp who is MLB outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers is focused on training with full-day workouts while Rihanna has been traveling the world to promote her latest album "Loud".

According to the site, he "nodded when names such as Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman and Jon Hamm were mentioned" as the possible lead actor. "Sure, those are some names and on 'The Dark Tower' fansites they're all about Viggo [Mortensen]," Howard said.

Nicollette Sheridan's $20 Million Lawsuit Against 'Desperate' Creator Is No More

The dust has settled, Nicollette Sheridan dropped the lawsuit against "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry. The show's former actress sued Cherry back in April for hitting her in the head and creating a hostile work environment. Sheridan contacted ABC but the network was reportedly on Cherry's side and decided to terminate her contract.

Now Sheridan has agreed to drop claims of physical injury and emotional distress, stating in a joint stipulation on Friday, December 17 at Los Angeles Superior Court that she won't assert any claim for emotional or physical damages. In return, she doesn't have to submit for mental and physical evaluations.

Captain Beefheart Passed Away at 69

American rocker and painter Captain Beefheart has died at the age of 69. The star passed away on Friday, December 17, according to a representative for the Michael Werner Gallery in New York. His exact cause of death was unknown, although he had long been suffering from multiple sclerosis.

Born Don Van Vliet, the singer rose to fame in the 1960s with his own style of blues and rock, later influencing artists such as Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Red Hot Chili Peppers. He recorded under the moniker Captain Beefheart with his pals in the Magic Band until 1982, before gradually moving away from the music industry and focusing his efforts on his love of art.

Judge Issues $100,000 Arrest Warrant for Evi Quaid

A judge has issued an arrest warrant for the wife of actor Randy Quaid after she skipped her latest court date on Thursday, December 16. Evi Quaid was due to appear in a Santa Barbara, California court for a probation hearing, stemming from a felony vandalism case. She and her husband were arrested in September for allegedly squatting illegally in a California home they once owned.

The Quaids had skipped three prior court dates relating to the charges and have launched a bid for asylum in Canada, insisting they fear for their welfare if they return to California. But Evi, 47, is a wanted woman yet again - on Thursday, a judge approved a new $100,000 arrest warrant.

The son of Oscar-winning composer Joseph Brooks has been indicted on charges stemming from the death of his fashion designer girlfriend in New York last week. Nicholas Brooks, son of the acclaimed screenwriter/composer, was questioned by police in the early hours of December 9 after the body of Sylvie Cachay was found submerged in a bathtub at a New York City hotel room.

The 24 year old was reported to be helping police with their enquiries following the gruesome discovery at the star-studded Soho House building in Manhattan, but he was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and strangulation and formerly charged on December 10. He was indicted during a Manhattan court hearing on Thursday, December 16, although the details of the counts against him have been sealed until January 4, 2011.

New "Superman" movie which will be directed by Zack Snyder continues shaping up with possible start date and shooting location. The Globe and Mail says the film will be shot in Vancouver, Canada and the production will likely begin in 2011 summer, which is in line with previous report mentioning the movie would start shooting in June next year.

"[Zack Snyder's] next feature's coming here," Peter Leitch, chair of the Motion Picture Production Industry Association of BC and president of North Shore Studios and Mammoth Studios, says as quoted by the site. While Leitch won't name "The Man of Steel" as the project he means, a source confirms that the next "Superman" movie will be filmed in Vancouver.

Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville has been charged with two drink-driving offenses in relation to a DUI arrest back in October. Kelly Clarkson delighted audience at Night for Hope benefit concert by debuting her new song live. In an acoustic jam session at the gig taking place on December 16 in Nashville, the winner of "American Idol" season 1 delivered a song called "You Still Won't Know What It's Like".
