Lady GaGa has shown her assets during her recent performance with John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, at the We Are Plastic Ono Band concert on Saturday, October 2. GaGa gave audience a clear view of her rear end as she donned a black bejeweled one-piece jumpsuit and a matching hippie-style headband.

During the concert, which was held at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles in honor of John whose birthday is October 9, GaGa and Yoko collaborated for a song called "The Sun Is Down" which is featured in Yoko's latest album. Other stars who joined the night were Yoko's son Sean Lennon, Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell, Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA, Iggy Pop and Mike Watt.

A fresh clip from "Conviction" has been debuted, giving preview to Hilary Swank's Betty Anne Waters who is determined to release her brother from a murder conviction. Confronted by Minnie Driver's Abra Rice who tries to assure her that she would not win the case, Betty Anne refuses to give up and even tells Abra to get out of her house.

Betty's older brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell) is arrested for murder and sentenced to life. Convinced that her brother is innocent, Betty Anne puts herself through high school, college and, finally, law school in an 18 year quest to free Kenny.

The first look of Amber Tamblyn as Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital's new scrub has been unveiled through a photo released by TV Guide. Tamblyn, who claimed her fame through the first installment of "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", is playing a med student by the name of Martha M. Masters on "House M.D.".

Martha will make her debut in episode 6 which airs on October 25. While Thirteen is absent because Olivia Wilde is busy shooting for feature films, House is forced to hire a new member for his diagnostic team. Cuddy insists that House hires a woman because "she feels there's way too much testosterone on the team". Martha was eventually Cuddy's choice whom House must accept.

Despite controversy surrounding "Yeah 3x" which has similar beats with Calvin Harris' "I'm Not Alone", Chris Brown went ahead with promotional effort for the new single. He has recently shot a music video with director Colin Tilley.

Tilley is the same man who directed Brown's action-packed mini movie "12 Strands: Matrix". Unlike the "pay-per-view" clip however, this upcoming one will be filled with dancing-in-the-street footage instead of fighting scenes. And, the fun was already teased in several set pictures.

And producers were forced to cut certain shots from the show as her low-cut outfit exposed more than Kelis intended. A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Kelis was performing new single Scream and towards the end her nipple slightly popped out. They had to edit it out. Alan certainly seemed a little hot under the collar afterwards when they were chatting."

Melanie Brown has been undergoing relationship therapy for years and insists the counselings has made her marriage to Stephen Belafonte "tight". The couple's three-year union was rocked by rumors of a secret split over the summer but Brown was quick to dismiss the speculation.

Nick Jonas thrilled theater fans around the globe on Sunday, October 3 as he took to the stage for a one-off celebratory performance of "Les Miserables". British singer Leona Lewis axed a show in Nigeria on Saturday, October 2 after two car bombs caused carnage in the country's capital. At least 12 people were killed and Lewis felt it was inappropriate to go ahead with the gig. In a statement, she says, "Out of respect for those victims, it is with regret that I have had to postpone my performance."

Rocker Paul Weller is a married man after exchanging vows with his young girlfriend Hannah Andrews. The former The Jam frontman wed Andrews in an intimate ceremony in Capri, Italy last week, according to Britain's The Sun.

A West End production of Stephen Sondheim's "Passion" has been suspended after an actor was accidentally shot in the face during an onstage stunt. David Birrell was admitted to hospital with a serious eye injury following the incident during Saturday's October 2 performance at the Donmar Warehouse in London.

British reports suggest there was a fault with a prop gun used on stage, which was meant to fire blanks. A spokesperson for the venue says, "During the matinee performance of Passion on Saturday David Birrell sustained an injury to his eye for which he is currently being treated in hospital.

Nadine Coyle's music video in support of her debut solo debut single "Insatiable" has made its round. It is mostly filled with live performance footage of the Girls Aloud member rocking with a full band and singing the song in various close-up shots.

The music video is directed by Wayne Isham who has previously worked with Britney Spears, Muse and Pink Floyd. Last month, Coyle and Isham were forced to "go back and re edit" the clip when the original finished product was deemed too sexy for TV.

Singer Gabriella Cilmi is risking arrest with her latest musical venture - she's planning to busk in New York's subway stations. The "Sweet About Me" hitmaker is set to travel to the Big Apple with a pal, and the pair is hoping to share their music with Manhattan commuters.

She tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "I'm traveling with a friend and we're going to spend as long as we can without getting caught, fined or arrested, busking at various subway stations across the city. It's something I've just always wanted to do."

A group of celebrity hikers including singers Gabriella Cilmi and Alexandra Burke have raised over $150,000 for a U.K. cancer charity after completing a grueling trek in Peru. The stars headed to the famous Inca Trail last week to raise awareness for breast cancer charities and garner donations for care and treatment.

The singers, along with British TV presenters Denise Van Outen and Fearne Cotton, as well as six breast cancer survivors, scaled Peru's mountains and rainforests and completed the challenge on Saturday, October 2.

Country star Willie Nelson urged concertgoers at a benefit show in Milwaukee to show their support for U.S. farmers by choosing to buy local produce instead of imported goods at the supermarket. Boyzone are inviting a girl into their group - Natalie Imbruglia will replace bandmember Keith Duffy for a performance in honor of the late Stephen Gately in Australia next weekend, October 9. The 33 year old was found dead in October 2009 at the home he shared with partner Andrew Cowles in Majorca, Spain.

And to mark the first anniversary of his passing, the remaining members of Boyzone will perform on the Australian version of talent show "The X Factor", on which frontman Ronan Keating is a judge. Marilyn Monroe's pleas to end her life in the years leading up to her tragic death have been exposed in a new book featuring excerpts from personal diaries, notes and letters. The movie icon detailed her feelings of torment in a number of writings, left to her New York acting mentor Lee Strasberg, in which she complains about the loneliness of working in Hollywood and explains her anguish about her troubled love life.

In an entry following the breakdown of her marriage to baseball star Joe DiMaggio, she asks herself why she "always felt in a certain way that I am subhuman, why in other words, I am the worst. Even physically, I have always been sure that something was not right with me."

Jenny McCarthy turned to therapy to help heal her heartache after struggling to come to terms with her break-up from actor Jim Carrey. The couple ended its five-year romance amicably in April after realizing the relationship had run its course.

Exactly 1,580 superhero wannabes invaded Live Nokia Plaza in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 2. They all supported the largest gathering of costumed crime-fighters, which broke the Guinness Book of World Records figure of 1,500, held by DreamWorks Animation.

The gathering was part of promotional events for DreamWorks' upcoming release "Megamind". Thus, the movie's two characters Megamind and Metro Man were present. Will Ferrell, who lends his voice for the title character, also appeared though without a superhero costume.

It's confirmed that Rihanna will include her joint track with Drake on her upcoming studio album "Loud" which is due for November 16 U.S. release. Praising the Canadian rapper as a cool guy and one of her great friends, she also hopes to shoot a music video with him in support of the duet.

"We actually just did a song together it's going to be on my album," she told This Is Max Online, affirming what Drake has previously said. "The second song we did another version with him we may even shoot a video for it. I went out with him Trey [Songz] and J. Cole recently we had a lot of fun."

Cult rockers Pavement left fans at their Las Vegas concert baffled on Friday, October 1 when frontman Stephen Malkmus hinted the reunited band's appearance would be their last. The group reformed earlier this year to play their first live shows in just over a decade following their 1999 split, but their disjointed performance at the Pearl Ballroom in Sin City's Palms Casino appeared to signal the beginning of the end for the California rockers.

Pavement's 18-song set, part of the 21st anniversary celebrations for independent label Matador, was marred by sound problems throughout, prompting axeman Scott Kannberg to kick his monitor and bash his guitar into his amp in frustration, reports NME.com. And Malkmus suggested the troubled show, in which the five-piece barely acknowledged one another onstage, would be Pavement's final gig together.

Jailed George Michael is taking legal action against editors of a British tabloid over reports alleging the singer has been boozing behind bars and was bullied by fellow inmates. The Sunday Mirror published an article over the weekend claiming the former Wham! star had been threatened by inmates at London's tough Pentonville jail, where he was sent in September to serve time for drug-related charges.

He has since been moved to Highpoint Prison in Suffolk, England, where editors at the newspaper alleged Michael had befriended a "violent robber", who was protecting him from the reported bullies. They also claimed he had been drinking "prison hooch" to get drunk, before stripping off and walking around "completely naked".

U.S. comedian Ralphie May has been fined by authorities in Guam after customs officials found him in possession of marijuana. The funnyman was taken into custody upon arrival on the island in the western Pacific Ocean last Tuesday, September 28 when a tiny quantity of the drug was discovered among his belongings.

He was released after paying a small fine and allowed to press ahead with his comedy show tour, reports TMZ.com. May's rep claims the marijuana found was less than an ounce. May says he loved his time in Guam and can't wait to return.

Russell Brand prepared for his forthcoming wedding to Katy Perry during his bachelor party last weekend, September 26 - by gatecrashing an Indian marriage ceremony. The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star, who proposed to the singer during a trip to India, was celebrating his last weeks as a single man with rocker Noel Gallagher and comic David Walliams at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, England.

And after realizing he was sharing the venue with an Indian wedding party, he joined in the festivities, posing for snaps with guests and dancing before he was hoisted onto the shoulders of a young reveler - much to the annoyance of the groom. A party-goer tells Britain's News of the World, "Russell completely took over and was dancing away at the reception. The groom wasn't very happy about the fact that the spotlight had been taken away from him and his new bride."

TV tough guy Duane 'Dog' Chapman is recovering from medical treatment after he was injured during a bounty hunt in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 2. The "Dog the Bounty Hunter" star was admitted to UCLA Medical Center with internal bleeding after the pursuit of a criminal went awry.

A statement released by his wife Beth and posted on his website reads, "He was admitted for tests for a possible blood clot following an injury he suffered on a bounty hunt. Duane is in very capable hands and we thank everyone for their prayers."

Security guards had to jump to Josh Duhamel's rescue at the premiere of "Life as We Know It" in New York on Thursday, September 30, after he was accosted by a fan. The "Transformers" hunk was posing for snaps on the red carpet of the special screening when he was approached by a well-dressed female.

He was stunned when the woman allegedly grabbed him round the neck and tried to kiss him, forcing security personnel to pry the woman off Duhamel and throw her out, according to New York gossip column Page Six. A source tells the publication, "It was a little freaky. She wouldn't let go."

Avril Lavigne turned 26 on Monday, September 27, but she officially got the party started a few days later. Celebrating the special day, the "I'm With You" hitmaker held a pool party at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino's Wet Republic pool in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 2.

"Breakout Kings", a new drama series coming from the producers of "Prison Break", has released its first teaser on Sunday, October 3 after the season finale of "The Glades". It follows on the efforts of a crack team of ex-cons and U.S. Marshals tasked with tracking down and capturing escaped prisoners.

The newbie was actually a pick-up by FOX before the network backed out and A & E swooned in. Its pilot received a generally favorable review during the upfront presentation but FOX preferred to renew "Lie to Me" and "Human Target" instead. The new home then took in all the 13-episode order with the premiere schedule taking place next year.

Sky is the limit for Stone Sour as they have always been pushing themselves even more than in the past for every album. Around four years after burning the chart with 2006 "Come What (ever) May", they returned with a broadened range, a deepened perspective and the determination to make new album they could be proud of.

The result is "Audio Secrecy" which presented something different from their previous works. "It's heavy, it's melodic, it's dark, it's slow, it's light and it's beautiful. You'll hear something different with each listen," frontman Corey Taylor said of their third and newly-released studio effort.

Twentieth Century Fox has come out as a winner in an auction to get the rights to "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", a live-action adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel of the same title. The project is apparently the most sought one as other studios which bid for it included Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures and Summit Entertainment.

Variety reports that pre-production for the movie is already underway with Fox planning to drop it in theaters across the nation in 2012. The studio reportedly invests a lot in the film as it is made with a big budget of $69 million and is planned to be a 3-D movie.

Though Hilary Duff knew that Mike Comrie owns a $165,000 Mercedes-Benz before marrying him, the "Material Girls" star might not be aware that the NHL star is not very keen on paying for his car. According to TMZ, Mike was hit with a lawsuit for allegedly refusing to pay the bills or giving the ride back.

The site reported that the lawsuit was filed against Mike in L.A. County Superior Court. According to the legal documents, Mike bought the 2009 Mercedes-Benz CL550 back in 2008 but he failed to pay the installments. In the papers, the finance company claimed they've tried to repossess the car but the ice hockey player "refused to allow Plaintiff possession."

Gay stars Neil Patrick Harris and Lance Bass are the latest celebrities to reach out to their homosexual fans and urge them to stand up to bullies following a string of alleged suicides in the U.S. Lesbian comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, R&B singer Ciara and rapper Nicki Minaj have all spoken out following the death of 18-year-old Tyler Clementi, who last week jumped from the George Washington Bridge between New York and New Jersey after his college roommate allegedly posted footage of him having sex with another man online.

Now actor Harris and singer Bass have called for a stop to the tragedies, insisting dealing with your sexuality gets easier. Harris says, "If you're getting bullied and feeling like you're on the outskirts, it gets better. Because, when you get older, you find that people are actually drawn to individuals with different points of view who are proud of who they are and who make interesting and different and unique choices for them - at least I am."

Rapper Travis McCoy has offered a backhanded compliment to ex-girlfriend Katy Perry for addressing their break-up in a scathing new record, insisting the star "finally has a song with some substance". The Gym Class Heroes star split from the singer last April - eight months before she became engaged to funnyman Russell Brand.

She appeared to address the break-up in a new song entitled "Circle the Drain" from her latest album, "Teenage Dream". Scottish singer KT Tunstall despises the way Simon Cowell has "clogged up" the music industry with TV talent show contestants - insisting it prevents other musicians from hitting the charts. The music mogul has created a TV phenomenon with his string of talent hunts on both sides of the Atlantic, with "American Idol", "The X Factor" and "America's Got Talent" all producing several recording artists every year.

But although Tunstall admits the shows make great TV, she is adamant they are having a negative impact on new artists. She tells Britain's Daily Mail, "I hate what Simon Cowell has done to the music industry because he's clogged it up with all these people and it's stopping real artists getting deals."

British glamor model Katie Price and ex-husband Peter Andre are expected to blow the lid on their marriage split when they take the stand in a slander and libel case next week. The pair became tabloid sensations in the U.K. after falling in love on reality show "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here" in 2004. Instead of slamming the whole cast of "SNL", Kanye who wore red outfit from head to toe mocked himself in Pusha T-assisted track "Runaway". "Let's have a toast for the douchebags, ... Let's have a toast for the scumbags," so the self-mock lyrics delivered. "Let's have a toast to the jerk***s."

Prostitute Irma Nici has countersued David Beckham for breaking the U.S. Constitution by hampering her free speech - just days after the sport superstar's lawyer served her with a $25 million writ for claiming the pair slept together.

Nici hit headlines around the world last month when she sensationally alleged Beckham had paid for her services on two occasions in 2007. Beckham immediately launched legal action against Nici and In Touch magazine, which published the story and his legal team handed her papers in New York on Monday, September 27. The writ accuses the former prostitute of causing him "great mental anguish" with allegations he hired prostitutes.

Friction between "Desperate Housewives" begins to take shape. Renee invites a reluctant Bree to go clubbing with her to engage in some local man-hunting. Once there, they meet Bree's hunky contractor Keith whom Renee unfortunately also takes interest in.

Executive producer Bob Daly has previously mentioned that the competition will be larger by episode four which is airing in the next two weeks, meaning this is only the beginning of Bree versus Renee. Daly said, "Suddenly by episode 4 they're both going after him. So there's a little competition for Brian Austin Green."

Emma Stone has reportedly nabbed a female lead role in next "Spider-Man" movie. According to Deadline Hollywood, Sony Pictures Entertainment will "imminently offer" the role of Mary Jane Watson to the 21-year-old beauty.

If Emma indeed takes this job, it will further raise her name after starring in "Zombieland" and "Easy A". Her name was mentioned among the contenders of the depicter of Spider-Man's love interest along with Dianna Agron, Mia Wasikowska, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott.

Although they haven't confirmed their romance yet, Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene are no longer hiding their relationship as they have been spotted in several outings together, holding hands. On the new couple, a source revealed that the Jonas Brothers star is smitten with the "Twilight" beauty.

"(Joe) is head over heels for (Ashley)," the source told People. "He thinks she is down-to-earth and absolutely beautiful. He hasn't been this into a girl in a long time." And though Joe and Ashley have grueling schedules, a source said that whenever they have a break, "they want to spend as much time together as possible."

Michael Jackson's pop/rock musical based on the Cinderella fairytale is dancing its way back to the Los Angeles stage for a new production next year. The King of Pop executive produced "Sisterella" when it debuted at the Pasadena Playhouse in 1996, and now his business partner Jerry Greenberg and manager Frank Dileo are reprising the Larry Hart-penned show for another run.

The dance routines in the musical, about a wicked stepmother who tries to steal the fortune her late husband left to his daughter, will be choreographed by original dance instructor Raymond G. del Barrio. Casting details have yet to be announced.

McFly star Tom Fletcher was left fuming when his guitar cut out during a performance of the band's latest song at a British awards show on Thursday night, September 30. The four-piece took to the stage at the Digital Music Awards in London to belt out their track "Party Girl".

But the performance was thrown into chaos when Fletcher's guitar broke - and he's annoyed the problem wasn't resolved to finish the song. In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Well that was a blowout. Guitar cut out halfway through Party Girl. If I look miserable when that goes on TV I apologize!"

Miley Cyrus was the subject of ridicule on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend. The show's new regular Vanessa Bayer did a pretty decent impression of the starlet with the deep voice, toothy grin and Miley's choice of words such as "pretty cool" and "like".

Bayer appeared in a skit called "The Miley Cyrus Show" where Bryan Cranston became Billy Ray Cyrus aka the show's house performer. Miley's first guest was Johnny Depp who is played by another newcomer Paul Brittian. Although she has Johnny as a guest, Miley used the show to promote her own movie.

Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher is a father for the third time. The 43-year-old star and his Scottish publicist girlfriend Sara MacDonald, who have been together since 2002, welcomed their second child together on Friday, October 1, according to Britain's The Sun.

Noel and Sara named their newly born tot - a baby boy - Sonny Patrick. Noel and Sara already have their first child together, 3-year-old son Donovan. Meanwhile, the guitarist/singer also has a 10-year-old daughter Anais from his former relationship with Meg Mathews, whom he wed in Las Vegas in June 1997 and divorced in January 2001.

Facebook has proven to be a moneymaker and the movie is no different. Picking up the story of the site creation by Mark Zuckerberg and his friends, "The Social Network" wins the attention of moviegoers, making it nab the first place at North American Box Office in its first week with $22.4 million cume.

"It's playing very broadly, and this is a terrific start," Sony distribution president Rory Bruer says about the Jesse Eisenberg-starring film which has been hailed by movie critics. "For an adult drama, this is a terrific opening," he further gushes. "It's not going to open like a romantic comedy or an action adventure, but it's going to stay around longer."

2010 Bet Hip-Hop Awards has been held on Saturday, October 2 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. Big winners of that evening were Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z who were presented with three awards each.

Minaj received Rookie of the Year, beating Chiddy Bang, J. Cole, Roscoe Dash and Waka Flocka Flame. She additionally won Verizon People's Champ kudo and Made You Look award. For the latter prize, she pushed aside Jay-Z, B.o.B, T.I. and Kanye West.
