It turned out that Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears are not planning a double wedding just like swirling report has suggested recently. A source close to the "Toxic" singer told Gossip Cop that "there is no truth" to the rumor, while Jamie's pal added the story was made up.

The double wedding report was first run by OK! Magazine. The mag claimed both Britney and Jamie were excited about idea to "marry their boyfriends, Jason Trawick and Casey Aldridge, in a spectacular double wedding!"

Landing a role as Darcy in "Thor", Kat Dennings has a hope that the film will get a follow-up. In an interview with MTV News at San Diego Comic Con last July, Dennings who was accompanied by Natalie Portman said that she has some ideas for the plot of the sequel.

"Darcy dies in the first scene, like in 'Scream.' Jane Foster goes insane and puts her head in a blender!" she stated. Portman, who laughed at her co-star's suggestion, encouraged Dennings, saying "I think you should write the next one."

Adding to Wednesday crowded music video arrivals which include Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" and Taylor Swift's "Mine" are two clips from Jeremih and DJ Tiesto. Jeremih supports his new single "I Like", while Tiesto promotes "Who Wants to Be Alone".

James Wan has signed on to serve behind the lens of "Nightfall", a movie adaptation of another bloodsucker tale. Scott Mitchell Rosenberg of Platinum Studios and William Stuart of Aurora Productions will team up to produce the flick, but it has not been known who will pen the script.

"The minute I heard the concept, I was in," Wan reveals about how he is interested to join the project. The "Saw" helmer then gushes, "Reading the graphic novel cemented that. Like 'Saw', it's a simple concept that, if executed properly, will be so cool." Rosenberg himself has shown faith to Wan's ability, telling Deadline Hollywood "James' experience crafting the contained horror in 'Saw' will be a big help in his informing the visual experience of 'Nightfall'."

Selena Gomez has announced when she is going to reveal "A Year Without Rain" music video. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress took it to her Facebook to share with fans that the visual accompaniment of the second single will be out next week on September 3.

Irish singer Brian McFadden has blasted an American airline in a series of furious 'tweets' after his luggage was lost on a recent flight. The former Westlife star was traveling from Los Angeles to New York on Delta Airlines this week and was less than impressed with the small plane he boarded.

Lil Wayne is facing a major court battle with his former booking agents after accusing them of holding back his tour profits - they have resolved to "aggressively defend" themselves against the star's "utterly false claims".

The "Lollipop" hitmaker and his company Young Money Touring Inc. allege the owners of Ujaama Talent Agency Inc., Erskine Isaac and David Nelson, owe him money from two of his America's Most Wanted Music Festivals in 2009. The complaint accuses Isaac and Nelson of withholding at least $375,000 in profits from the dates.

Actress Nikki Reed can't wait to get back to work on the "Twilight" franchise - because she's excited about reuniting with her co-stars after a year apart. "Julia's Eyes" which is produced by acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is about to come out and its English-subtitled trailer has hit the web. The story of this Spanish film begins as blind woman Sara was found hung in the basement of her house.

Her twin sister Julia, who is suffering a degenerative eye disease, decides to investigate what she feels is a murder case, entering a dark world that seems to hide a mysterious presence. Kelly Osbourne has hinted she'll be looking for hundreds of thousands of dollars from a U.S. tabloid over new reports she's back on drugs. The reality TV star's mum Sharon Osbourne has already threatened legal action against the editors of In Touch magazine over a negative article about her kids and now daughter Kelly has taken to Twitter to hint she's planning her own suit.

After hearing about the piece on Tuesday, August 24, Osbourne, who checked into rehab to control her past drug abuse, took to Twitter and write, "(I'm) in shock that In Touch is printing a untrue story about (Jack) and I. R&B singer Ne-Yo and his booking agent have been ordered to pay over $156,000 in damages to a disgruntled concert promoter after the star missed a scheduled show in America's Washington state in 2008. Promoter Kenyohn Clark sued the "Closer" hitmaker, real name Shaffer Smith, and his promoter Mike Esterman after the singer was a no-show at the planned 2008 New Year's Eve concert.

Clark claimed that Esterman misled him and failed to return a $95,000 deposit. The case went to trial in July and Maryland judge Philip Caroom ruled in favor of Clark on Tuesday, August 24, ordering Ne-Yo and his associate to pay up.

Music mogul and talent king Simon Cowell has been left "devastated" after producers of his hit TV show "The X Factor" were forced to axe a contestant over concerns for her mental health. In an e-mail directed to Deadline, the production house said, "In line with standard television practice, sound filtering technology has been used on 'Britain's Got Talent' on our pre-recorded shows, but this does not unfairly reflect any singer's performance. In honor of Aaliyah's nine-year death anniversary, Drake wrote a letter for the late R&B singer. Posted on Rap Radar, the letter declared the Canadian rapper's big love, admiration as well as honor to the artist who died in a plane crash.

"Dear Dana," Drake started his letter, calling Aaliyah by her middle name. "I've never lost a parent, a friend, or a lover but I will never forget this day for the rest of my life. Plans to shoot "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" in Brazil have been thrown into jeopardy. Summit Entertainment has planned to start the production of the last installment of "Twilight" film franchise in Rio de Janeiro within the next few weeks, but they are now reconsidering the plans after a deadly shoot-out and hostage taking place at the luxury InterContinental Hotel on Saturday, August 21.

During the drama, 35 guests were held on hostage by gang members and one person was dead at the subsequent shoot-out. The InterContinental's general manager, Michel Chertouh, told Hotel Check-In on Tuesday, August 24 that the hotel is back to business as usual, but AFP reports the "Twilight" cast and crew are spooked by the incident.

After denying reports that they are expecting twins, John Travolta and Kelly Preston have now revealed their baby's sex. Preston's rep confirmed to People that the couple, who first announced the new addition in past May, is having a son.

One funny granny that is Betty White has appeared in the latest promo of "Community". The hard-working 88-year-old apparently confuses herself of which next TV show she has landed a guest starring stint on.

"Hi, I'm Betty White. Watch me in the season premiere of 'Glee'," White said before a voice behind the camera reminds her that it's not FOX's "Glee" she's going to appear in. The intended joke is to promote the return of NBC's half-hour comedy "Community" on September 23. White is to play an anthropology professor named June Bauer who is highly-esteemed, but is questionable in terms of sanity.

Missy Elliott has paid tribute to her late friend Aaliyah on the ninth anniversary of the R&B star's death. The "Try Again" hitmaker was killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas on August 25, 2001 at the age of 22, shortly after the release of her third album and just as she was launching herself as a Hollywood actress.

Elliott collaborated with Aaliyah many times throughout her tragically short career and insists she still misses her friend nearly a decade after her death. She tells MTV.com, "There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of (Aaliyah) or watch a video or play her music. I miss her every day."

Executives at movie giant Disney have pulled all the studio's films from competing at the annual Annie Awards following a dispute over the judging criteria. Disney-Pixar blockbuster "Up" landed the top prize at this year's ceremony, which honors the best in animation, and films including box office hit "Toy Story 3" were expected to sweep the board at the 2011 show.

But Disney bosses have now announced they will no longer be putting films forward for nomination after they failed to agree with Annie Awards bosses at the Association Internationale du Film d'Animation (ASIFA) over the way the prizes are judged.

Susan Boyle is tapped to perform in front of Pope Benedict XVI next month, on September 16. The British singing sensation will be singing at least two songs, her claim-fame cover version of "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables" and the hymn "How Great Thou Art".

"To be able to sing for the Pope is a great honor and something I've always dreamed of - it's indescribable," she told Scotland's The Daily Record newspaper. "I think the 16th of September will stand out in my memory as something I've always wanted to do, I've always wanted to sing for his Holiness and I can't really put into words my happiness, that this wish has come true at last."

Rockers The Libertines might be back for good - the cult band is considering making its reunion permanent. The British group split in 2004 after a series of bust-ups between frontmen Pete Doherty and Carl Barat over Doherty's spiraling drug addictions.

They announced earlier this year that they would reform for two festival gigs in England this month but ruled out a long-term reunion. But intense rehearsals for their comeback shows have brought the previously warring band close together again - and a permanent return to performing and recording is now "definitely possible".

Miley Cyrus is facing another break-up. The "Can't Be Tamed" singer has ended her relationship with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, whom she has dated since they filmed "The Last Song" together. While Miley and her party haven't released any comment yet, Liam's rep confirmed the split, telling Radar Online "It's true."

Although the rep didn't give further detail about Miley and Liam's split, Gossip Cop reported that the separation happened "pretty recently." A friend added to the site that the 20-year-old Australian actor is completely "single".

Some scenes from "Resident Evil: Afterlife" have been shared in three clips. The first one which is debuted on MySpace shows Alice jumping from a rooftop as she is chased by a bunch of zombies. Later, Yahoo! Movie debuts a clip which follows the major heroine as she lands her plane on a rooftop. The other snippet which is released by UGO, meanwhile, follows cloned Alice in a gun-totting action scene.

As of late, 3-D footage from the film has been screened in London. The footage which highlights another action sequence from the movie features Alice and Claire who are facing giant, masked figure Executioner Majini, which appears in "Resident Evil 5" video game.

Workaholic rocker Mike Shinoda struggles to relax during breaks from his Linkin Park duties - and insists he's "afraid" of his own endless energy. Shinoda admits he rarely enjoys having free time to rest and instead keeps himself busy by painting for his art exhibitions and writing material for the "Crawling" hitmakers or for his other musical side project, Fort Minor.

Sylvester Stallone is the new king of the U.K. box office after his blockbuster "The Expendables" exploded into the charts with takings of $5.9 million. The action movie, starring Stallone alongside Jet Li and Jason Statham, and featuring cameos from Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, ended "Toy Story 3" 's reign at the top of the chart.

Angelina Jolie's new spy thriller "Salt" entered into second place with takings of $3.2 million, knocking animated movie "Toy Story 3" into third place with a haul of $3 million. Flesh-eating fish movie "Piranha 3-D" and "Marmaduke", both new releases, took the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Heidi Montag is convinced her drastic cosmetic surgery makeover is to blame for the breakdown of her marriage to Spencer Pratt - insisting he "begged" her not to go under the knife. "The Hills" star stunned fans when she emerged from a day of operations with a totally reworked face, massive breast implants and a new nose, and the 23 year old admits her estranged husband was most shocked by her transformation.

Montag, who filed for divorce from Pratt in July, insists her spouse didn't want to take care of her as she recovered from her surgery and the relationship gradually crumbled under the strain. Sandra Bullock is ready to face the camera again for a one-on-one interview since her ex-husband Jesse James made her embarrassed with his affairs. She agrees to her first television interview, choosing "Today" with Matt Lauer as the media.

The interview will be done Tuesday, August 31 at Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans. Bullock is known for her philanthropic work in the city which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina five years ago on August 24. She adopted a baby boy, Louis Bardo Bullock, who was born there.

Expect to see more big stars gracing the big screen when watching "Scream 4". After getting Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere as the new lead actresses, the movie will see Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell making appearances as well. The news was broken by USA Today before then confirmed by Dimension Films.

28-year-old Paquin, who is best known for her portrayal of Sookie Stackhouse in TV series "True Blood", and 30-year-old Bell, who recently appears in "You Again", have signed up to make cameos in the fourth installment of the horror film franchise. Their characters have not been known yet but some speculate their fates will be the same with Drew Barrymore's character who is killed off at the beginning of "Scream".

Former Happy Mondays star Bez was locked up in jail on Wednesday, August 25 over his attempt to strangle his ex-fiancee Monica Ward. The "Celebrity Big Brother" winner has now begun his jail sentence for four weeks at Manchester Magistrates court, Daily Mail reported.

Bez was initially given a 12-month community order at Manchester Magistrates court and asked to pay 450 pound sterling in costs. However, he refused to do the work and protested his innocence. "I'm not doing it. Bothered. I'm going to appeal and take this to a real court," he said as quoted by the site.

Usher is going to a club in a music video for his new single "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love". The R&B performer is busting a move with the dancers freezing around him. As he invades the dance floor, Pitbull who features on the song enjoys the club environment, sitting on a couch with the ladies.

"This video isn't primarily about dance, although I will be dancing," Usher told Entertainment Tonight. He explained, "I feel like I'm back for the first time." And he makes it count, sweating on the dance floor like it's the last day of his life. The music video is directed by Hiro Murai.

"Bones" will introduce Booth's new girlfriend as early as in the season premiere. The first look at Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick in the role of Hannah has been released in the first return episode's preview as well as still. Booth meets Hannah while in his tour duty to Afghanistan and she happens to be a war-correspondent.

Despite the new couple's passion for each other, Booth and Hannah have not reached a serious level. "We shot that scene [where Hannah arrives] and it's like, 'There you are, there it is', that whole awkwardness," David Boreanaz told Give Me My Remote. "But yet, 'Hey, I'm going to try to make [Brennan] a little jealous here."
