Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell are to play man and wife on the big screen again - the "Four Weddings & a Funeral" star has joined the cast of "Footloose". The actors, who played a married couple in the 2001 drama "Dinner With Friends", will portray the Reverend Shaw Moore and his wife Vi in the remake of the 1984 hit.

John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest played the characters in the original film. MacDowell also joins Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough, who are set to star in the movie.

Country music star James Otto has become a first-time father after welcoming a baby daughter. Otto's wife of five years, Amy, gave birth to little Ava Katherine Otto at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday, August 24 evening , the star's publicist Jensen Sussman confirms to the Associated Press.

In a statement, Otto says, "She is beautiful like her Mama, and I am already wrapped around her tiny finger." Two days before the delivery, Otto tweeted, "The next tweet y'all get from me will be to tell ya about the arrival of my baby girl." And the after Amy gave birth, he wrote "Ava Katherine Otto has made her arrival! She is beautiful & healthy & the most amazing thing I've ever seen."

Michael Bay Sued for His Bodyguards' Wrongdoing

"Transformers" director Michael Bay is facing legal action from two men who allege his security guard hit them over the head with a handgun, causing them to fall unconscious. Joshua Stewart and Paul Klimczak were reportedly at Kiss nightclub in Hollywood in August 2008 when they got into a fight with a man who they allege is Bay's private bodyguard.

All three men were thrown out of the venue and the plaintiffs claim they then tried to walk away but the unnamed guard hit them both over the head with a pistol, rendering them unconscious. They were taken to hospital with broken teeth, broken bones and other injuries, reports TMZ.com.

New scenes from "Resident Evil: Afterlife" have been previewed to some people in London during a short screening at Sony Pictures on Monday, August 23. The footage, presented in 3-D, sees a battle scene involving Alice, Claire and Executioner Majini, which appears in "Resident Evil 5" video game.

While the video has not been available for viewing pleasure, Obsessed With Film and Den of Geek have described the footage. The footage, titled "the Axe-Man", is set in a shower room where Alice, Claire and two big, beefy soldiers try to "escort a weedy, Chinese scientist out of some kind of ravaged city through a sewer." Suddenly the Executioner attacks with his huge axe, splitting one of the men in two.

Zombies are now on small screens, thanks to AMC. "The Walking Dead" has been promoted at the San Diego Comic Con this year and a trailer was played during the panel. Few days after, the trailer leaked online in a bootleg version but AMC has anticipated it by releasing the official version.

"The Walking Dead" tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The comic goes on to explore the challenges of life in a world overrun by zombies who take a toll on the survivors, and sometimes the interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the zombies that roam the country. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive.

Former Drummer Is Keen to Reunite With The Cure

Former The Cure drummer Lol Tolhurst has reached out to frontman Robert Smith in a bid to rejoin the band, more than 20 years after he was fired. Tolhurst left the punk icons in the late 1980s because of an alleged drinking problem, but he's now keen to reunite with his former bandmates in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Cure's seminal 1981 album "Faith" in 2011.

Speaking to Los Angeles radio station KXLU, the drummer revealed he had pitched the idea to Smith of touring the album around the world in 2011. A Cure fan site later reported "the ball is now in Robert's court". Tolhurst, who went onto perform with band Levinhurst, sued Smith in 1991 over a royalties dispute, but they reconciled in the early 2000s and have been in contact since.

Pop superstar Beyonce Knowles has been accused of copying the design for a pair of leggings which feature in her fashion brand's latest collection. The "Crazy in Love" singer caused a stir when she was recently pictured topless in a shoot for her House of Dereon range, wearing nothing but fake tattoos and a pair of tight black trousers covered in silver studs.

But the design of the leggings has been called into question by bosses at an Icelandic clothing company, who allege the House of Dereon trousers look similar to a pair of E-label leggings which Beyonce was allegedly spotted buying in London last year.

It seemed Paris Hilton could handle the arrest of a knife-wielding man on her property quite well. Shortly after police captured the man, who held "2 big knives" and broke into her Los Angeles, California, home, Paris was spotted walking out on her balcony in a towel and wearing oversized sunglasses as news choppers circled her residency.

In the video, Paris was seen out of her glass balcony door, wandering around and looking up towards the helicopters before deciding to go back inside. The hotel heiress also took to her Twitter page to tell her fans that she has calmed herself following the ordeal. She shared, "Feel so much more relaxed. Just went and got adjusted by my chiropractor and got a facial at Kate Somerville Spa."

British Prime Minister David Cameron is celebrating after becoming a father for the fourth time on Tuesday, August 24. The Conservative Party leader, who swept to power following the U.K.'s general election in May, and his wife Samantha welcomed a baby daughter during a family vacation in Cornwall, south west England.

The couple traveled to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro at around 8 A.M. local time on Tuesday, and the baby - who remained unnamed as WENN went to press - was delivered by Caesarean section at around midday.

The first look of Justin Bieber on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" may have been shared previously through the set photos that witness him messing around with the props. But the first official look of him in character as troubled teen Jason McCann has just been released by CBS.

From the look of the photos, Bieber shared a lot of scenes with George Eads who plays Nick Stokes. McCann was subject to DNA swab as well as given a can of coke while in the interrogation room. There was a photo once which Bieber shared on his Twitter, revealing him in a youth prison uniform. It looks like it would take place before the scenes in these photos.

Representatives for Ciara and Keri Hilson have refuted reports the two singers were involved in a backstage fight at a New York concert at the weekend. Hilson was said to have refused to perform at the Power Live gig on Sunday, August 22 because she was so upset after trading insults with the R&B singer.

But the stars' reps have downplayed the rumors, insisting Hilson was not even in attendance at the show. Hilson's publicist Sherlen Archibald tells the New York Daily News his client wasn't in the Big Apple because she "had an emergency in L.A."

"The Social Network" will keep a scene involving bare breasts and cocaine. According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), the said raunchy sequence set at a wild party will not be cut despite the movie's PG-13 rating.

The scene will see Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who became Facebook's founding president, delivering a speech at a party while two young women offer lines of cocaine from naked breasts. A source told the Times that the scene was mostly made up, but producer Scott Rudin previously worried the scene would jeopardize the PG-13 rating.

The rock matriarch is furious over the report in the latest issue of America's In Touch Weekly, due on news stands on Wednesday, August 25, which allegedly damages the pair's "credibility" - and Osbourne is considering suing over the matter.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "In Touch Magazine is printing an untrue story about Kelly & Jack which affects their credibility and dignity. See you in court!" And the siblings, who have both battled addiction issues in the past, are not pleased with the article either.

Singer George Michael was banned from the roads on Tuesday, August 24 after he admitted DUI and drug possession. The former Wham! star was arrested last month after crashing his Range Rover into a photographic store near his home in Hampstead, north London.

Coroner Confirms Martin Short's Wife Died of Natural Causes

Coroner has revealed the cause of death of Martin Short's actress wife, Nancy Dolman. L.A. County Coroner Chief Craig Harvey has confirmed that Nancy died of natural causes, telling People "[Nancy] was under the care of a private physician for a natural disease."

The County Coroner Chief further revealed, "There will be no coroner involvement." As previously reported, the Los Angeles City Fire Department was called at Martin's resident on Saturday, August 21 but once they arrived, they didn't transport anyone to a hospital. It is believed that Nancy died at the house.

The first scenes from "127 Hours" have been made available for viewing pleasure through a teaser trailer. Making its way out via Apple, the video makes reference to Danny Boyle's previous films such as "The Beach", "Sunshine" and "Slumdog Millionaire" before focusing on the upcoming release.

The trailer highlights James Franco's Aron Ralston who shows great enthusiasm in everything he does, including when he explores a canyon. The video follows him as he meets two girls during his adventure and it ends when he is stuck between the cliffs.
