The Beatles are to be portrayed as the undead in a quirky new movie. The producers behind "Pulp Fiction" have bought the film rights to Alan Goldsher's graphic novel "Paul Is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion" and now plan to turn it into an oddball new movie.

In Goldsher's tale, a zombie John Lennon murders the other three Beatles, who return as members of the undead and prey on Fab Four fans. Producer Stacey Sher tells Spinner.com, "I am a huge Beatles fan like the rest of the world and Alan's mash-up, which really showcases his love of music history and his appreciation of the zombie world, is a fun, funny read."

The first clip for "Fair Game" has been made available for viewing pleasure. Featuring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts, the video follows the lead actor as he comes toward the female lead and confronts her but she keeps defending herself.

Based on a true story, the film focuses on CIA Agent Valerie Plame who leads an investigation into the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Her diplomat husband Joe Wilson writes an article that ignites a firestorm of controversy after alleging the administration for manipulating intelligence about the weapons to justify the invasion of Iraq.

Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard are to play man and wife in filmmaker David Cronenberg's new movie, "Cosmopolis". Cronenberg has adapted the screenplay for the thriller from Don DeLillo's novel of the same name.

The film is about the story of a 28 year-old billionaire who crosses Manhattan for a haircut. Farrell will play the multimillionaire asset manager, who loses his fortune in 24 hours, according to Daily Variety.

John Hannah and Lucy Lawless have been brought back from the dead for a prequel to hit U.S. cable series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand". The TV couple were slaughtered in the bloody finale to the ancient Roman drama, which aired last month, but they'll revive their scheming characters Batiatus and Lucretia in a six-episode prequel.

The project comes as the show's slave star Andy Whitfield battles cancer - the actor, who played the title character, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year.

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has urged fans of the hit TV show not to buy U.S. magazine Newsweek until editors apologize for an article that took aim at castmate Jonathan Groff. Groff and Sean Hayes were singled out in a harsh online piece about gay actors playing straight roles.

Columnist Ramin Setoodeh called Groff a "theater queen" and hammered Hayes' performance in Broadway's "Promises, Promises", stating, "It's weird seeing Hayes play straight." Brad Pitt is ready to encounter wild animal in his next big screen project. The "Inglourious Basterds" star is developing "The Tiger" and teaming up with "The Wrestler" helmer Darren Aronofsky as well as Mark Heyman, Ari Handel, Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner to produce it.

Based on a nonfiction book by John Vaillant called "The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival" which will be released in August, the film will center its story on the hunt for a man-eating tiger across the forbidding landscape of Siberia. Pitt will possibly tackle the character of a game warden and conservationist who must face down the tiger.

Rapper David Banner has shot down reports he is suing producer Quincy Jones III for using his music without permission in a documentary about Lil Wayne. Banner, real name Lavell Crump, reportedly teamed up with music producer Darius 'Deezle' Harrison to filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Jones over his 2009 film "The Carter".

Baltimore, Maryland-based duo Beach House have taken aim at Katy Perry over the title of her new album. Beach House released "Teen Dream" in January and they fear Perry's summer album, "Teenage Dream", will confuse music fans.

Lindsay Lohan has denied reports linking her to an argument with Avril Lavigne during a recent night out in Los Angeles. Pop veterans a-ha will mark the 25th anniversary of the release of their debut album by performing the disc in its entirety at a special London concert later this year. The Norwegian stars shot to fame with their hit song "Take On Me" in the 1980s and reunited in 1998 after a four year hiatus.

Last October, a-ha announced plans to split after completing their final world tour, titled "Ending on a High Note", at the end of this year. But the band will give fans attending their gig at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall a rare treat when they play their first release, "Hunting High and Low", in full for the first time ever.

The third of six minisodes "A Drop of True Blood" has been released, featuring a scene between Sookie, Tara and Lafayette. Though the flamboyant cook is included in the minisode, he only plays a minor role in the scene for it was all about Sookie and Tara having a cat fight.

A man accused of burglarizing actress Amanda Peet's New York apartment last October has been acquitted by a Manhattan jury. The "Whole Nine Yards" star's babysitter, Michelle Werner, interrupted a thief when she stopped by Peet's Tribeca loft on October 27 and was confronted by a burglar, who had broken in through the skylight and taken jewelery.

The actress was not home during the burglary. Career criminal Henry Santos, 27, was subsequently arrested and charged with the crime after being identified by Werner in a police line-up. He went on trial in Manhattan Supreme Court earlier this month and Peet's screenwriter husband David Benioff took the stand on Friday, May 7 to testify in the case.

Anna Nicole Smith's former boyfriend Larry Birkhead is selling off the late model's possessions to raise money to secure their daughter Dannielynn's future. Joaquin Phoenix is set to shock fans with the release of his new documentary - Casey Affleck's film about the actor's bid to become a rap star is packed with controversial scenes of sex, drugs and nudity. Autobot twins will not make appearance in "Transformers 3". Following report that the two characters were spotted shooting a scene in California on Monday, May 10, Michael Bay has responded to the news, writing on his official message board "The Twins are not back in T3."

However, Left Lane have obtained several new pictures from the film production which proves the contrary. Claimed to be taken by photographers from the set, the photos feature two Chevy Sparks. The cars have stripes in the distinctive colors of the twins - green for Skidz and orange for Mudflap.

Few days after the trailer for "Super 8" was leaked, Paramount Pictures has debuted the official version of the trailer. Making its way out via Apple, the video gives preview of some scenes from the film in a good quality.

Opened with a scene of a rushing train, the video then features a huge explosion when a truck hits the train. Toward the end of the trailer, something is seen bumping inside a cargo which has U.S. Air Force logo on the door. The footage is then concluded with a look of 8mm camera lens.

British rocker Damon Albarn was caught up in a medical emergency during the recording of the Gorillaz's latest album - soul legend Bobby Womack passed out in the studio. The Blur frontman enlisted the veteran singer-songwriter's help with the band's third record "Plastic Beach", which was released in March.

But he was unaware Womack suffers from diabetes - and was stunned when the "Lookin' for a Love" hitmaker fainted in front of him. Albarn says, "The sessions with Bobby were like nothing I've ever experienced. I told him to improvise. After 45 minutes of amazing singing, he passed out."

"Glee" star Lea Michele has apologized to a photographer after she rudely dismissed him at a gala on Tuesday, May 4. Photographer Patrick McMullan asked the actress for her name after taking her picture at the Time 100 Gala - but the brunette is said to have responded by rolling her eyes and naming other celebrities at the event, including country star Taylor Swift and former U.S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Now Michele is hoping to make amends with McMullan after reports of the incident began circulating. In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, Michele writes, "Big apology to PatrickMcMullan. Totally didn't expect you (or anyone) Time 100 to know who I was w/ (with) all the amazing people there. (I) made a silly joke that didn't go over, so sorry. It was such an incredible night and I was beyond honored and thrilled to be there."

"Charlie's Angels" actress Kate Jackson has filed suit against Farrah Fawcett's former business manager - alleging her late co-star's money expert has left her in "financial ruin". The 61 year old claims Richard B. Francis used Jackson's "extremely close relationship" with Fawcett to land her friend as a client, but let her down on a series of key issues.

Jackson alleges Francis made incorrect estimates about her fortune, claiming she was worth $5.4 million when the actual figure was closer to $3 million. She also claims he urged her to buy an over-priced house in California which she couldn't afford.

Stars including Uma Thurman, Bono and Sarah Jessica Parker joined Natasha Richardson's family in New York on Monday, May 10 for a memorial service to mark the late actress' birthday. Richardson, who would have turned 47 on Tuesday, May 11 died last March after a freak skiing accident.

Her loved ones, including widower Liam Neeson, her mother Vanessa Redgrave, and sister Joely Richardson, gathered in the Big Apple on Monday for a remembrance service at the city's Roundabout Theatre Company. A host of stars turned out to pay their respects including Parker, her husband Matthew Broderick, and "Pulp Fiction" star Thurman.

Justin Bieber's episode on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" may have aired on Tuesday, May 11 but Harpo wants to make the most of it that they have invited the 16-year-old for further Q & A session. In a video labeled "Backstage At The Oprah Winfrey Show", Justin answered some additional and lighter questions after doing the taping with Oprah Winfrey.

When asked how he felt appearing on the show for the first time, Justin said "It felt great. I was really glad I came out here and do what I love to do and doing it on Oprah was amazing." He further talked about why he loves his mom, his version of a perfect girl, who he wants to work with and what's hanging on his bedroom wall.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are getting hitched. Their representatives have confirmed that the country music stars have been engaged on Sunday, May 9, with the "Hillbilly Bone" hitmaker presenting her a diamond and platinum engagement ring.

But before he popped the question, Blake kept his manners by asking for blessing from Miranda's father first. "He called my dad and got his blessing first," the 26-year-old songstress tells People about the surprise proposal from her boyfriend. "That was so Southern and old-school and perfect."

Next week, "Glee" will present two guests who are expert in their respective fields. Neil Patrick Harris who has numerously shown off his musical skill through some stage productions and the opening number at 2009 Tony Awards, comes on board as Will's former high school nemesis by the name of Bryan Ryan.

Also, Joss Whedon, the acclaimed creator of many sci-fi series such as "Firefly" and "Dollhouse" is assisting behind the lens as director. "There's a terrific episode which Joss Whedon directed which really focuses on Artie's character and focuses on the emotional journey he has to go through being in a wheelchair," producer Brad Falchuk told Zap2It.

Nominees for this year's CMT Music Awards have been announced by Evan Farmer and Laura Bell Bundy on May 11. Along with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood lead the nominations with three nods each.

The four country music acts are competing against each other in Video of the Year. In this category, they are joined by such contenders as Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert. Taylor and Carrie additionally are facing off one another in Female Video of the Year. In this battle, they are joined by Miranda and Reba McEntire.

Miley Cyrus apparently wants to ditch her goody-goody image. After criticized for doing pole dance during her performance at 2009 Teen Choice Awards, the 17-year-old star has been caught giving a lap dance to "The Last Song" producer Adam Shankman during a wrap party for their film last year.

In the preview video from TMZ, the Disney cutie is seen pressing her back against Adam. The filmmaker who is openly gay, in the meantime, grinds up against her while putting his hands on her waist. Miley later is said to open her shirt to give Adam a little peek as she dances teasingly for him.

"Dancing with the Stars" sends home another couple this week and at the end of the line are Niecy Nash and her dancing partner Louis van Amstel. The comedienne performed Viennese Waltz and '90s Paso Doble last night, receiving 23 and 20 out of 30 respectively. The total score which is 43 out of 60 was the lowest among all.

Niecy was in the bottom two with Chad Ochocinco who never before was put in the position. But the sportsman received higher total score from the judges which is 45 out of 60. Chad is thus in the top 4 along with Nicole Scherzinger, Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews.
