McFly star Tom Fletcher is nursing a sprained ankle after injuring himself during a soccer game. The British singer took time out from recording the band's forthcoming album to play a game of soccer on Monday, April 26 - but fell and hurt himself.

He uploaded a picture of his swollen foot to his Twitter page, and in a subsequent post, he writes, "Oh dear... twisted my ankle at football... slightly swollen. Ahhh, only a couple of hours wait to have an x-ray."

Amy Winehouse was admitted to hospital on Sunday, April 25 following a drunken fall which left her with injuries to her face and ribs, according to a U.K. report. The "Back to Black" hitmaker was taken to a private clinic in London after taking a tumble at her home, which left her with bruised ribs and a cut to her forehead.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "She'd had a few (drinks). At first she thought she had broken something, so got her security to take her to hospital. The doctors were worried she might be concussed because she had a big bump on her head and a cut above her eye."

Actor Randy Quaid and his wife have been released from prison after posting $100,000 bail each. The "Brokeback Mountain" star and his wife Evi were jailed by a judge in Santa Barbara, California on Monday, April 26 to make sure they returned for a hearing into their 2009 fraud and burglary case on Wednesday, April 28 after a series of court no-shows.

Superior Court Judge Frank Ochoa told the couple they had been disrespectful by refusing to show up for arranged court dates, including one they missed earlier this month.
